I had searched for years to find a stylist that I felt confidence in just sitting in the chair and trusting them to know what would look best for my face and lifestyle. Heather is that stylist, I can tell her whether I'm wanting to go lighter or darker and she always knows how to get my hair the perfect shade. She is very knowledgeable, professional and her beautiful personality makes every visit a joy!

One thing about Emali, is she’s going to give you what you ask for. She can do it. She literally is a professional. Literally she gave time the best haircut of my life. If ur tired of people not getting it how you want it, go to her. Cuz she’s going to get it done. She knows what to do. I’ve been to so many places to get my hair cut and it’s just uGh never quite right. But her. Emali. She knows.

UPDATE-Even though the owner responded and indicated to contact her and offered the opportunity to “correct” the service, I called and she did not return my phone call. I also emailed and did not receive a response. This salon has been some of the worst customer service. Going back there are others with the same experience. Horrible customer service, Do Not Recommend. Booked a haircut and blow dry based inthe services they offer. Hairstylist washed hair and then I explained what I was wanting(blunt bob). She proceed ti cut my hair straight across. Then she blow dried and that its. For the ount of money paid, no prodcuts applied or recommended. To have my hair just cut straight across and that amount charged is crazy. Additionally, the hairstylist next to her pointed out some pieces of my hair that were not even. Do not recommend. A blunt bob is more than just cutting straight across. Feel like I went to a student not a professional hairstylist.

No doubt these stylist are talented and most the staff are friendly. I went in for a root touchup and was offered a hair cut. The stylist literally took off maybe a centimeter off the length and did a dry cut. I was charged the full $65 dollars which seemed a bit steep for a dry cut. I paid $130 not including tip for the root touch up and dry cut.

Went in for an easy paint-on balayage for the ends of my hair and a face framing money piece. I took instructions for the technique I wanted done, came out with "peekaboo" highlights, that's it? When I told the stylist and the lady behind the reception that this is not what I asked for, they looked awkward and smiled, almost confused, didn't offer to fix it, just wanted me to go quietly it seemed. I called for a refund but they asked that I come back for a chance for them to fix it. I waited 30 minutes at this second appointment without being seen, or the "fixing" stylist to acknowledge me. I got my refund and left. Such a shame as I had high hopes with all the excellent reviews.

I've been going to Emali for YEARS and I promise the whole staff is awesome. I absolutely enjoy and look forward to every visit. I moved and still travel over 45 minutes just to see them

I can't recommend Emali enough! She really takes the time and care to get you to the look you want. And she's so fun to talk to too. I highly recommend that everyone give her a visit soon!

Beautiful, clean, and airy space. Extremely talented stylists. My first visit was to get a bad haircut fixed..I work in the same shopping center and ventured in solely for the convenience. But I left there with a hug from my stylist and a beautiful cut. I was hesitant to return bc I initially thought the price was a little steep..but I found myself back in there after ANOTHER bad haircut! How embarrassing to admit. The second time Lali cut my hair and I felt so pretty when I left! Now I'm just sold, no more wasting my time or money at other salons! Just had my third visit a couple days ago. Thank you all so much

I absolutely loved the experience I had here with Heather. She was a complete joy to work with and between the good conversation, the time she spent making sure I got exactly what I wanted just made the overall experience amazing. I was shampooed by another stylist and she was just as sweet, just like the people working the front desk. I will absolutely come back here when I am in town and will make sure to ask for my new favorite stylist, Heather!

If you have bleached blonde hair then Chelsea is your girl. She was so gentle with my hair the entire appointment and picked a great toner to get the shade I wanted. She was also really good about making sure all of my hair had lifted to the right level before washing the bleach out. Again, I cannot emphasize how much she KNEW how to do blonde hair, because "color" and "blonde" are totally different in my opinion. I have a stylist back home in fort worth who has done my hair for the past 5 years. Chelsea is the only person I have ever found in san A that I could trust my near platinum locks to. All of my friends gave me a million compliments after she did my hair. The price is also reasonable, and their scheduling is really flexible for a hair salon. (For reference I'm a natural level 6 and bleach to a 9-10)

I went in today to get a hair cut and had a great experience! I loved the atmosphere, the staff was really friendly and welcoming. My stylist was Lauren and she did a great job giving me the haircut that I wanted. I will definitely be returning back in the future.
