We weren’t a fan. Came in on a weekday and there were no clients. It was extremely quiet, no music, no tv. This was a birthday gift for my kid who it was their first time. Could tell the workers were skipping things that were part of the service, and at the end my kid was super uncomfortable. Mind you may family is Korean. Even I admit, I felt awkward because of the dead silence. Then the workers started talking Vietnamese among themselves, because one worker just came to sit with the woman doing the nails to talk to her then show her stuff on her phone. I gave two stars simply because she offered to fix my kid’s nails if she messed them up, but considering I didn’t want something lost in translation as “free”.. we didn’t go back. The nail polish upheld but when time to take it off, was extremely difficult.

I used to love this salon until they confronted me about giving one of the nail techs a bigger tip than the other. I only did it because the lady told me it was her son's birthday and she was taking him to a concert so, I thought I would give her a little extra to spend on her son. The next time, I went in for services, I was questioned as to why I gave that girl a bigger tip. I feel it is nobody's business how much of a tip I give to someone. I was so upset that I never went back.

I went in and was immediately helped, I did make an appointment on their website which was very easy to use. Everyone was very nice and the lady who did my nails was very thorough and neat. I had a reference picture and she tried her best to recreate it and she did an amazing job! My total ended up being $75 not including the tip but since it is a luxury I was not surprised I just wanted to mention it so people can know what to expect. If you are trying to budget how much it will be I would just try to account for the up charges of shape, French tip, gems or chrome because it will cost extra as well. Overall I would recommend! I do not get my nails done often but when I do I will definitely be coming back! (The only thing I would not recommend is getting chrome because it's doesn't really show and isn't that noticeable but cost extra since it's extra product which I understand I just wanted to mention)

So many regrets!! Cancel them! Geez. Never book here! Wichita ! turn the other way! it’s like they say anything anything at all to make an appointment and then for me —- don’t show up for my lash sets and are kind of offensive when my wasted time or took off for my beauty day. The smell is awful and place is not good.. regret calling them!!! Don’t book here! Cancel them!the ladies who were customer also told us look unhappy when getting nails done — the environment is shady and dark.

$135 for a mani pedi and eyebrow wax. They took 3 hours to do it. I had a new girl which I should have been notified of beforehand. To expensive for taking to long. Also wanted to add not enough seating area. The only seating available was the massage chairs that do not accommodate plus size people.

Amazing place they are greatly staffed very friendly. They take time to do a pedicure. They make sure everything is correct before you leave. I get my toes nails, eyelashes eyebrows done here great set of ladies out of four years of looking for a place I finally found a place that I am able to really enjoy coming to.

Even with an appointment my fill was half done, rushed through and the tech complained about doing it the whole time. She even told me I didn’t need a fill. Well if I want to pay to have a fill done why is that a problem? Geez 🙄 I’m sure you didn’t complain about the $10 tip I gave you. Man, Its so hard to find good customer service anymore! (Updated on 5-25-2023) to answer your question. Sandra (the owner) you started my fill then you passed me off to the lady with the braces which drilled too long on this visit. I forgave this visit and gave your business another chance I called 5-24-2023 and needed a fill again you Sandra asked if I minded if someone else could do my fill and I told you that was fine. I had no idea you were going to give me the same lady with the braces 😲 and instead of her paying attention to what she was doing (my nails) she left the drill in the same spot and burned my nail with the drill talking with a co worker! All I got was my finger squeezed and a ”oooh so sorry, you ok?” Really! This is horrible service and based off the back to back bad service that Your employee gave I won’t ever be back. I have been coming to you for a long time, but it’s clear that doesn’t matter. Praying nothing happens with my over drilled nail which by the way still hurts! I would not recommend the lady with braces.

Everyone there is WONDERFUL!!! They worked me in at 5pm(when they close) on a Sunday. I didn't expect the amazing treatment I received. They genuinely care about their customers and helping make your life easier. Plus your first visit is 20% off. Oh and if you bring a friend, you both get 20% off that visit!! They do everything from nails, massages, to pedicures, and even eyelashes. They also accept debit and credit cards. Thanks again!! I love them!!!

I brought my daughter here to get her nails done. Ivy took great care of her nails, creating wonderful artistry that my daughter absolutely loves. She's thrilled with how beautiful her nails look, and we're definitely coming back for more of these fantastic experiences.

I decided to give this place a try based on the reviews since my regular tech was on vacation. Huge mistake! I made an appointment & sat for about 40 minutes before I was called for my pedicure. I made it clear that I am allergic to latex, they went through their boxes of gloves only found extra large size. All of these women have tiny hands. Pedicure proceeds & I finally started to relax when I started to get itchy all over. I look down & at some point the nail tech switched to latex gloves at some point. When I said something about it she states "I cannot do your nails with those gloves too big for me". I'm sorry I understand that but this is an allergy we're talking about! I asked her to wash my legs & feet with soap which she gave me a you've lost your mind look. Not to mention she put a base color under the shade I picked that completely changed the tone. My toes do not look like they were professionally done. I was about to walk out when it was my turn for my fill 2 hours later after my appointment time. She drilled over skin which hurt, then proceeded to keep doing it. She did a good job design wise but there are multiple bubbles throughout & I can see where my previous fill was at underneath this color. At checkout tech asked if I tip so obviously I did but tbh didn't want to pay a dime. Worst experience I've had at a nail salon in years! Guess that's what I get for cheating on my tech

Never disappointed by the service I receive at Emeli Kate. The amount of time they take on pedicures is above all others. No matter how busy they are, they take the time to make you comfortable and satisfied. Gel polish stays on for almost 5 weeks! That's amazing value for the price. Don't miss out on this salon!

No. Just no. First of all the pedicure I paid for is not what I got and did not last as long as it was advertised for. Then they made me walk bare foot across their floor because they didn’t have any of the disposable sandals. They also upcharged me $20 for gel polish on my toes when the lady only gave me the gel samples and their pedicure I got stated it came with polish. Then they do my nails and they are not even, you can see brush strokes(I got matte and they are not at all even) the polish also doesn’t even cover my entire nail. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Sandra is who I go to every time! Before coming to Emeli Kate my nails always lifted from other salons, they never lift since Sandra started doing them. She has always been able to do any idea I have. I will never go anywhere else!

So very disappointed. I’m from out of town and went here based on the reviews I read. Called ahead and my call was handled professionally. Was looking forward to having a relaxing, manicure and pedicure. I Purchased the most expensive pedicure they offered and the dip manicure. I cannot say how disappointed I am. There was no relaxation whatsoever. One girl did my feet and one girl did my fingernails as I sat in the pedicure chair. So uncomfortable reach over so she can reach my hands. In an effort to soak the polish off my fingernails so she could do my manicure, she put my hands in a bucket of vinegar and left me to sit for almost 30 minutes. Then they discovered she used the wrong ingredient to soak the polish off. So I had to do it all over again with nail polish remover. As this was going on, she, the girl doing my toenails, and two other ladies from the salon, laughed and had a grand old conversation over top of me. The lady who seemed to be in charge, who may be the owner, sat in the pedicure chair next to me and finally got her own pedicure. Her four-year-old daughter ran amok all throughout the salon. The little girl was super cute but between her and the four ladies having a little girls party type conversation and the fact that they were all very distracted while providing my services made for a super unpleasant experience. Not only that but they did an absolutely terrible job. See the photos. The dip powder has stained all over my fingers, the cuticles were barely touched. I’m five minutes out of the salon and one nail is already peeling. When they put the oil on as the last step, they didn’t rub it into my fingers or anything. Just let it run all over everywhere. See photo. I’m so disappointed. Getting my nails done is my one small treat to myself, it’s expensive and I really can’t afford to do it and now I’m going to have to go get my nails done again at my regular Salon when I get home. I know they will be appalled when they see this work. In a positive note, the ladies were all friendly.

Update: things have certainly improved. I’ve noticed that the cleanliness is much better, as well as limiting the wait time for those who have made an appointment versus a walk-in. Feel like everything is kind of going downhill for me at Emili Kate. I make an appointment every time I go in there but yet it seems I am always left to wait. Last time I waited for 45 minutes and I was in there for 2.5 hours. I was so frustrated. Then, I asked if I new files could be used because my finger/cuticle was cut at a prior appointment and it became infected…Mike told me that new files are too sharp and they will cut me if they use new. And, he also used dirty grinders on my nails. This was after I asked him to use sanitized equipment. Also, when they put the oil on my cuticles at the end of my appointment, they never rub it in, what’s up with that? I’m left with oil dripping down my hands. I will give them one more try, and after that, they will lose me as a customer. Nonetheless, I should probably turn them in to the State for using dirty equipment on clients.
