I had called what I thought was the number to this salon. When I arrived to purchase the product I asked about via/phone and text the woman was extremely RUDE there was no reason for this, i did understand you were with a client. But to act that rude in front of them can not be good for business. I know Lancer for decades, and he would have never treated me or anyone like this. This is truly sad that I was treated like this, a manage a club here on the hill and would never treat someone the way she treated me. POOR customer service and EXTREMELY rude. Thankfully, the person in 214 was able to help me even though they were with a customer. I do understand it by appointment only however the person I was speaking/texting with I thought was for this salon mistakes happen and a little help would have been appreciated instead of being so rude!! And look at her response, she continues to be rude. She could have helped me. And directed me in the right direction. Simply, mistakes happen, but her behavior speaks for itself. You may have been in business 21 years, but this behavior is unacceptable. And for your information, I was buzzed in. I did not just walk in.

I’ve been going to this hair salon for over a year. The services are quality and the pricing is extremely reasonable. Booking is done completely through the website and questions are always answered promptly. While I was getting my hair done today, a woman who did not have an appointment walked into the small but welcoming studio space and demanded hair products that are not even sold at this business. This woman was kindly asked to leave and reminded of the no walk-in policy advertised on the website, but continued to make up a story about talking to another employee in advance of her arrival to get a nonexistent product.The customer showed no respect for me, the hairstylist, or the security of the building and was trespassing. She was treated respectfully, but firmly, and asked to leave multiple times but continued to try and threaten this stylist with a bad review and bully her way into the business. Despite being in the wrong and admitting to doing so, she felt compelled to slander this business. Lady, whoever you are, I hope you have the day you deserve and treat yourself to that four star Taco Bell you’ve been raving about.

Lancer at Emerson Salon has been keeping my hair looking fabulous for years. He is always learning new techniques and styles and incorporating them into my cut and color. As well, since the start of the pandemic, he has stayed on top of the best practices for opening safely.

Love my haircut from Lancer. Hadn't had a cut in years and he did a fantastic job trying to get it back into something manageable. Was recommended him after looking for an LGBTQ+ friendly salon, and gotta say he absolutely fits the description. Would definitely recommend him to others and already have.

Great little shop and convenient to transit. Stylist Lancer was excellent and I am happy with my cut - he listened to what I needed and turned it into a nice style. Totally recommend him!

I love Emerson salon! I have never had anything but a great experience here. D'Arcy has been doing my extensions for almost a year now (quite the overdue review) and love love love them. Nothing but satisfied, with both product, service, and over all results. Just try and get me to stop coming here!

I see Chelsea and she does a stellar job every time. She is always warm and friendly and remembers bits of conversation from our previous appointments. She gives great advice for how to keep my hair healthy and happy on a budget. Chelsea is super flexible with scheduling, too, which is awesome for anyone with a busy life.

Cozy clean space with a great/convenient location. Note that my stylist just started renting a chair here so I'm limiting my review to the building amenities. I've knocked a star off because the building is old and the water takes awhile to get to temp for shampooing.

Esther was amazing and listened to what I wanted. Great atmosphere. Loved the other staff as well. Felt extremely at ease. Price was very reasonable. Thank you❤💛💚💜💙

I've only been here once, and D'arcy cut my hair. I'm disappointed with the way it turned out. I did not get the look I requested, and it also just looks bad. Plus side: the haircut was cheap. However, I would rather pay more and get a better outcome. Overall, not recommended.

Love love Jason Farmer at Emerson salon! Jason has been cutting my hair for seven years now, and does an amazing job. The rest of the stylist in the salon are super friendly engaging, I can't say enough good things about them. Jason is by far one of the nicest Barber's you'll meet, and someone that is a true master of his trade. Tell him Jason Jacob sent you and he'll treat you like he would anybody else like a Rockstar.
