I went in for a blow out and curl for engagement pictures and as soon as I left the salon my hair was flat. I was unable to get a refund and was very disappointed with this service.

I've been blonde since April 2021 thanks to Paul (I actually went from black hair to blonde hair in just one day)!! He has made such a difference in my self-confidence throughout my college life. I never thought I would have the confidence to do exactly what I wanted with my hair, and it's all thanks to Paul that I've been able to. I'm so grateful!!

SOOOOO GOOD. I have fine, curly Italian hair and this is the best hair cut I think I’ve ever had. I got a wash, trim, and blow out style and it was SO AFFORDABLE. I paid $75 for the service and I normally pay at LEAST $150 at other salons because of my curly hair. My hairdresser was Cyrus. Not only were they friendly and inviting, I also learned so much about my hair type and my hair was done within an hour! :) 10000000/10 recommend this place!

The stylists and staff seemed courteous and friendly, and the space is very nice. It might be due to inexperience, but the stylist cut my neck while shaving/cleaning up some extra hair growth. After I left the salon, something felt "off" and a coworker pointed out the back of my neck was red, irritated and bleeding from an open cut, right where the razor was used, and my hairline was bumpy and irritated. This never happened to me before, and I've had my hair cut all over the spectrum from high end places to Supercuts. I won't be back.

I came here to get a service by a wonderful stylist who no longer works here. The white manager is extremely rude and prejudiced towards black people. I believe her name is Kristen. I spent the majority of my stay listening to her nitpick at the only black stylist. I’ve heard her make extremely inappropriate comments about her clothing as well as accuse her of making a mistake that was actually made by another white “gentlemen”, who of course, was not spoken to with HALF as much accusation and unkindness as she had spoken to my stylist. Kristen radiates white, classist, racist, and judgmental energy. My stylist was awesome though! Shame they had to lose such great talent over their own lack of respect and integrity. EDIT: I find it extremely telling that you only have passive aggressive comments to make about Christina, while also not acknowledging the many discriminatory acts you’ve made against her, stylist or not. She may not have been licensed, but she was your employee and gave wonderful service (more than just a blow out so i’m not sure why you insist on reducing her to that when she most certainly offered more services??) , unlike you. not sure how she wasn’t a stylist when she’s performed multiple services for many different people that was beyond a blowdry. is this some type of loop hole to get free labor?? anyways, i’ve never had a conversation with you, actually. i’m sure you usually save those for your white customers!

If you are looking for a quality haircut for a reasonable price, call here and ask for Paul. Paul cut my hair for around 3 years now. Before I found Paul, I tried a half dozen places in the Decatur area. The honest truth is that sometimes the other places did so poorly I had to go back to Paul to fix it. He would respond with a sympathetic "oh man... what did they do?". Paul is the most knowledgeable hair stylist I have met. My head has no less than 5 cowlicks and grows out like an untamed chia pet. Paul not only remembered how it grew but knew how to manage it to fit the hairstyle I wanted. On top of that, he remembered my occupation (teacher), family, and whatever else we had talked about. I am sure everyone at the studio is great but ask for Paul, I am confident you will be happy with your hair.

I’ve been going here for about 5 years now and been going more consistently in the last two years. The first few visits took me some time to find a stylist that I enjoyed and that ended up being Paul. He ALWAYS does a great job coloring my hair (full balayage) and getting my tone perfect every time. Some places/colorists will make the color too brassy or yellow, but Paul has really gotten it down for me. Another amazing stylist is Cyrus. She has given me some my best haircuts! She really knows how to give tons of layers with lots of volume. Really cannot go wrong with either one of those two!

I was lucky enough to have Louie cut my hair right before the pandemic started. Fortuitously I told him I was planning to grow it out long so I was looking for a cut that would look good without constant haircuts (not knowing it would be 10 months) The cut held up perfectly and I went back this week to finally get a trim. I'm so happy with my new haircut. I highly recommend this Salon and especially Louie!

Emily has been cutting my hair for a couple of years now, and I always leave feeling beautiful! Her work is very precise and she really makes sure we're on the same page at several points in the appointment! I wouldn't trust anyone else with my hair :)
