Horrible experience I had appointment scheduled at 2 got there 145 didn't get to sit in the chair till 230 and she just sat me there to wait till she shampooed another client she was soo slow and kept asking client what she wanted and if she's sure . She's not confident in herself I ended walking out so unprofessional.

I booked my mom a haircut and style for her birthday. My mom has NEVER been to a salon so she was very excited. The woman I won't name seemed confident in herself that she could give my mom the haircut ( bob) she wanted. Long story short my mom hated it. She didn't come close to the A line bob my mom wanted instead gave every excuse why she couldn't do it once it was done. Worst haircut I've ever seen from a salon. It was a Groupon so I guess you get what you pay for. Now she has to wait for it to grow out to go get it fixed. I should have taken the hint from the looks of the building it was going to be awful.

Great and friendly service. Highly recommend it. Love the highlights specials! Ask for Monica. Also Angie does great manicures, pedicures and acrylics. Don’t believe all the negativity on this salon.

Had such an amazing experience here! Monica did an incredible job on my shampoo, haircut and blowdry/style. She was fun to talk to and the shop is beautifully decorated. I will definitely be back here.

Went in for my first and LAST highlights appointment with Monica at Emily’s Hair Salon. I saw the photos on the website that were exactly like I usually get so felt she knew how to do them. I called and consulted with her before I came in on wanting 7 foils or so of bright blonde highlights. She was kind most of the time, but would not allow me to watch in the mirror forcing the chair to look away, and her words were sometimes rude. I got there at 3:35pm sharp since I am a teacher and shared with her that tomorrow I would be meeting for the first time my future daughter in law. To make a long story short, she not only burned my scalp after an hour of the wrong solution used not lifting then using the dryer. So that made my scalp turn white, she freaked out, and dyed my hair saying “I will fix it” without talking to me about what she was going to do, and turned it all one color, GREEN! She freaked out again, and said it needed a toner on it, which turned it ORANGE!! and still no highlights. It was now 9pm, (YES 5 1/2 hours in her chair!!! For 7 foils!!) I was sad and lightly crying. No apology just and quoting her words here to me “It’s Only Hair!” She still charged me $95.! Upset I paid frustrated and yes, I met my daughter in law with green hair, and refused all photos of me to be taken. It took my new hair colorist 3 treatments to make it right. No follow up from Monica, I thought about small claims court, but instead, I thought I would just let others know, MONICA is NOT a good highlighter for light brown hair. I have photos of each and every step including before, as I do this for all stylists, but just refuse to post them, they are so hideous.

Both my daughters had the Mani and Pedi Sugar scrub treatment and they love it. Everyone is nice and friendly. We will be definitely be going back.

This was terrifying, honestly. My hair was damaged and I had to go somewhere else and pay a lot more to fix the horrible cut and the terrible color.
