Lindsey, has been my stylist for many years. Review is long over due. My hair is blonde and feels luxurious which is hard for my natural darkest brown hair. I booked Emmett Rode Salon for my wedding and I am so glad I did! My husband & I both worked with Julia in advance. I received hand tied hair extensions, highlighting and haircuts and my husband did haircuts. We are glad we started going to her in advance so that by the time our wedding rolled around, we had the hair of our dreams to work with, we will also continue going to her from now on! The hand tied hair extensions are so worth the price and time commitment, I can't imagine not having them anymore, they are beautiful and Julia made sure they matched my hair color and were blended properly. I also did a hair trial with Julia for my wedding hairstyle, we played with a few ideas that I felt super comfortable with. Julia teamed up with a hair stylist friend, Catherine, who also does wedding hair, so they could do our sister's and mother's hair for the wedding day. I also worked with Lindsey (who does both hair & makeup at Emmett Rode Salon), she did a makeup trial in advance and our sister's and mother's makeup for the wedding day. Lindsey used high quality makeup and provided lipstick recommendations so I could purchase it ahead of time to reapply throughout the night. I cannot recommend Julia, Catherine, and Lindsey enough, they made us all look so beautiful, yet still like ourselves, and worked within the timeframe we had. They also made a timeline of who was going when, to keep us all on track. They were professional and also just super nice people to work with! Also, my hair and makeup lasted all day & night... and I hit the dance floor hard!

I like how Lindsey does my hair. I have gotten my hair done with her twice. She always has made it look great. She made my hair look really nice with how vague I was. The first time I went I had dyed two sections of my hair Teal 8 times with semi permanent dye. She let me know that it might be difficult to get out. She suggested that I get redish brown done. It turned out well. Today was the second time I have gone and gave her a range with the references. She did beautifully. I really like it and the experience was incredibly comfortable and pleasant. I really recommend this place. Everyone is very polite and the atmosphere is really easy going and pleasant. I love how my hair turned out! My sisters and mom get their hair done by her too and it's always really nice.

I had purchased full balayage service with Lindsey through Groupon. She charged me additional $45 when I got there with the promise that she will make my hair look like the model pic I showed her and the result in the pictures are self explanatory! It looks like she has blocked my number after she called me to say she isn’t willing to fix my hair without an additional charge. What an awful experience.
