My daughter and self has been coming here a few months now. We met a stylist name Sweet and she definitely make sure we come out the school with perfection 🤩 hair always on point even the dye job I got done by her at the school. Great job Sweet 😍

On 2 separate occasions I had the pleasure of getting a facial hand and foot treatment done from Isabella Rosales and a back facial and let me say it was the best my face stayed so hydrated for almost a week I typically have dry skin due to medical issues so that felt awesome she spoke to me the whole appointment was very relaxing and she constantly made sure I was comfortable she truly is amazing at what she does will most definitely be back

I waited to post this until after Christmas- I got my hair done on Friday December 20th. I waited 4 days to wash my hair, hoping it would turn out right. But I had a pretty good feeling that it wasn’t going to. I pretty much knew once I washed it, that it wasn’t going to be what it was supposed to be. I’ve had this done to my hair before (keratin smoothing treatment), & it turned out great!! However, the young lady who did my hair this time (Autumn), was very much rushing & not following the directions to the T, or doing exactly what her teacher would say &/or show her. I’m sure you’ll know who I am because I’m probably the only client she did that day, she probably left after me as she had said numerous times that she wanted to leave early. & perhaps that’s probably why she was rushing on my hair. She stated how long they (her teachers or whomever) said it would take her to have me complete, but she said that it wouldn’t take her that long. & I did mention to her that it was going a lot faster than I remember it going my last time getting this done, & she replied: “that’s good”. But that was not good at all!! That meant that she was rushing. A keratin smoothing treatment is time-consuming, & should take the time it calls for if you’re doing it correctly. & afterwards, I should have no wave to my hair, yet I do!! I washed it 4 days later (Christmas Eve), it dried, & there’s still wave. That shouldn’t be. & I know that I should have no wave because as I said, this isn’t my first time getting this done. I’ve never given a bad review for Empire before, not at either location. & I’ve been coming for a good 12+ years. But I’m updating my review here because I’m not too happy with my results of this keratin smoothing treatment, & to warn others. From the terrible wash where she not once had me lift my head up to wash the nape. To the way she seemed to not know how to brush rather long hair, to her not properly sectioning my hair in small pieces & putting the product on every piece as her teacher had did & shown her with the first section, to her not running the straightener on each sectioned piece of my hair 5 to 6 times as the direction called for & her teacher said. She would do it 1 or 2, maybe 3 on some pieces of hair. & I remember when the instructor (teacher) was on my hair showing her things, I could see Autumn behind me in the mirror not even watching or paying attention. I really don’t think she wanted to do my hair that day, or even be there. & because of that, I got a result I did. As I said- I should have absolutely no wave to my hair, especially after only one wash. But I do. I’m sure I’ll return again though, that’s not my reason for writing this. I’ve been many times including when you were located on Southport, as well as the location in Speedway. & this is my first not so good experience, so I won’t completely hold it against you. Hopefully next time though, we can achieve the results I paid for, & am supposed to. I simply just wanted to write this review though to update my latest experience, & caution others with your student Autumn. I would most definitely not recommend her!! That is all. Thank you!

Second time I’ve had Jaz do my hair, and this time I requested her. I absolutely love her work. Some of the best dimension I’ve seen, and she didn’t even have to take off as much as I thought she would. I’m going to be so happy when she graduates and I can get my hair done by her all the time!! I recommend her nail services too, she’s got some extremely great creativity and will follow what you’re wanting. She has amazing creativity with hair but also nails. And she’s got such an amazing attitude. So upbeat, so gentle handed, no one else is to touch my head but her. Ever.

I recently went in to get a facial done by Lesley Ortiz and she did such a phenomenal job! She made my skin feel smooth and moisturized! Not only that but she makes you feel relaxed and welcomed. I will definitely be returning for another facial and will be recommending her for any of her services!

I went in yesterday with like 6” long dark brown roots and a terrible lingering green on my mid-ends and Presley lightened me like a BOSS! Then she slayed my hair with bright red roots, hot pink throughout and two spots of some vibrant ass purple!!! She also cut my hair exactly how I poorly explained what I wanted lol Presley was patient and thorough with her work. I am so in love with my hair and enjoyed my experience at Empire SO much! The atmosphere was so welcoming and fun! Can’t wait to take my boys to her next week for their hair cuts ! ❤️‍🔥

Rosey Nieten is fabulous! She has delicate hands and great conversational skills! I had never had the suction cup technique done as far as exfoliating goes and she did great to keep my skin from getting too red or irritated! She’s going to do amazing things!

Rosey did my eyebrows on a Saturday. Morning. It was a good Saturday. The weather was decent. I got food in my stomach donuts to be specific and. The animals were behaving at my apartment my girlfriend wanted to come along too but she couldn't come in because the salon was busy which I understand and I don't hold it against anything or anyone because it's okay. But as a 25-year-old white male, getting my eyebrows done is as crucial to my career as an electrician, and Rosey did a phenomenal job at empire cosmetology school place.
