I had my hair cut and blow dried by a woman named Rose who was about to graduate from beauty school. It was the best hair cut and blow dry I have ever had. She was a complete pro. Everyone there was very friendly and helpful. The educators were very good. Thank you.

I love coming to this Beauty Salon School to get my Braids done as a male client. It's cheap and they do all hairstyles, the teachers and the students are very professional. They take good care of you at this school, making sure you're comfortable and leave with the hairstyle you're pleased with. This option is way better than going to a hair salon on the streets paying a arm and a leg. 5 Stars all day⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Qiarah-Monae is a genius with color! She skillfully gave me a new full highlights that brightened my hair beautifully. Thank you so much for all the hard work! She specializes in color so ask for her if you are looking for any sort of color related treatment.

Update: I love this place! Went back today for a root touch up and Brianna gave me the perfect color and blow dry. Lovely Brianna was so detailed in her work. I don't think one strand was missed. I can't believe how great they are here and how affordable!!! Going back in a few weeks for a trim. :) Prior review: I had a wonderful experience here. Diana cut, colored and styled my hair and it was perfection! First time at Empire and it was terrific. Love the color. I saw other clients leave with really great hair. I heard the client with a stylist named Brianna keep repeating "i love love it! I love my hair". And a stylist named Grace really transformed her clients hair to look so luxurious and flattering. I don't know them but i asked their names for when i return. I'm definitely going back for my touch up appointment in 6 weeks. Oh, and the price is amazing!!!!

Faith was the student who attended me. She was amazing and pleasant. As a student wasn’t scared to lean on her teacher Mr. R who was fab. He explained everything to her in detail and engaging during the process.

A Few Weeks Ago I Had Went to register and to have a tour at the Empire Beauty School in Downtown Manhattan. I had a Great experience of meeting everyone and knowing what I would be doing there . everyone was very welcoming no matter how nervous I was they was so encouraging . I can’t wait to officially start School on September 9th I’m So Ready for this new Journey and can’t wait to see the final results ❤️

I’m a student at empire beauty school and let me start with the fact that this school is scamming each and every student out of their money … the tuition and the amount that we all pay does not add up . The staff do not care about the students they barely care about the clients . Not only is there a money issue but the teacher don’t like to help the students once they get to salon floor . The teachers are also very petty . If they are having a bad day at home they take it out on the students and don’t care … they send students home for not knowing or understanding how to do a certain hairstyle the staff doesn’t care about how the teachers treat the student only care about how students treat the teachers … there are teachers who sit and gossip and instigate problems between the students. The school also has rats and roaches and mold in certain areas of the school which causes people to get sick . This school is not the school you want to be in … not the manhattan location anyway .

This school is super unprofessional students are always arguing and fighting the sinks never work and the bldg is an 80’s time capsule staff always takes the side of the student who is always causing issues and some teachers such as Mr O and Ms Reid are the only good thing about it and they are limited to what and how they can teach the cram up the classrooms to where we are all on top of each other and there are leaks everywhere it’s a waste of money they teach the bare minimum and make promises they never keep

Today Me and my daughter Damaris came to Empire for a tour of the school we meet with the admissions representative Alana Turner. From the moment we walked into the school I automatically knew that my daughter would be attending . The vibe and energy of Alana and others at the school was so welcoming. I loved everything from the one on one conversation, To the tour, seeing all the work done by the students was so amazing . I am so excited to see all the great things my daughter will learn and how successful she will become.
