Britteny is my go to girl!! She is so patient and understanding and knows the ins and outs of styling and color. So easy to talk to and makes the salon experience a 10/10. I love my hair every time - highly recommend for your next salon visit!

Britteny is the BEST! She is the only person I trust with my hair. I moved to New Jersey last year and I still fly back to see britteny for my hair. Not only is she amazing at her job but she’s a lovely person and I look forward to my long chair talks with her.

I’ve been seeing Britteny at ERA salon for a few years now, and she’s not only an absolute sweetheart and joy to hang out with during our long appointment times, but she’s an amazing hairstylist. I’m not the most adventurous with my hair, being a brunette and wanting to stay within the brunette range, while still having fun with highlights and different tones and Britteny nails it every time. She can make you a gorgeous Dallas blonde or a unique color queen so I highly recommend her for any of your hair needs! Based on the relationships I see amongst the stylists at ERA, I’m sure you can’t go wrong with anyone at the salon if Britteny is booked :) I’m happy to have found this salon many years ago and will drive back to see Britteny if I ever move!

Love Era Salon and Britteny! She was my stylist for 4 years when I lived in Dallas and I was always so happy with the results (plus always the best time catching up with her)! You can trust her with your color / style dreams!

Go check out Sara at Era! Guy or girl, she got you covered for hair and spray tan needs. I like that she remains consistent. Also, the salon is clean and professional. Sara always hooks up your drink when needed which is a nice bonus :) -Connor

Kim Valadez was so awesome to work with. My original stylist, who I’ve known for years, was out of the country and referred me to her. Kim was so kind, great at what she does, and was a great listener to give me the results I wanted. Thanks, Kim.

If you want a Salon that respects you and puts customers first, this is NOT it. If you want quality hair do yourself a favor and keep Kim out of your radar. (See pic of her sloppy work). This hair is from yesterday. Yes… my roots looked like this walking out. Unacceptable and completely off from what I requested. Very orange and brassy in many parts & completely uneven. I called the salon and spoke to the office manager “Sofia” yesterday and she initially offered a refund…on a second call to ask her if she had received a pic of my hair…she refused to offer a refund or a fix up, bcuz of a text responding to Kim. Her response was “dispute it with your bank”. Like what!? This is a so called manager!? This woman is unbelievably rude and ruins it for this place as her inability to deescalate an issue (and her ability to swear at clients… yes she cursed at me) is far away from what a manger should be trained to do; therefore I can’t recommend this place. With so many other options in Dallas, I’m sure I won’t have an issue finding a 5 star salon and you won’t too! Btw…Second pic is from my Appt last yr… I walked out with product in my ear 😂 So sloppy. I kept giving Kim chances, but instead of improvements I’m seeing a complete downturn, and her ability to read messages + reply is absolutely inexistent. Makes sense why she’s never booked, but I’m warning you… she’s not worth the quick booking. —————————————————————— UPDATE MAY 30th: If you’re going to use the words “inaccurate retelling” at least make sure you’ve got the whole story first. That is, the customers side of the story and not just your salon employees side. Your comment further reiterates one thing: A client’s story doesn’t matter. Since it doesn’t matter, there’s nothing else left to say to you. For anyone reading these reviews: I called to schedule my appt for Thursday, May 2nd. Whoever handled my appt set me up for May 3rd. This was THEIR mistake. To be fair I understand mistakes do happen. However, I also sent Kimberly a DM on insta confirming my date & time for Thursday at 10. I guess that flew right over her head. MY mistake was thinking I was dealing with professionals so I didn’t look at my confirmation. Regardless of that experience, I wasn’t too bothered by it; hence why I didn’t even mention it in my initial review. What truly disappointed me were the results of my hair AND the manner in which Kimberly handled my disappointment. My initial message to Kim regarding my dissatisfaction was respectful. Her response to my dissatisfaction was RUDE. Met with zero acknowledgement for her mistakes. She was willing to fix my hair, but in that same sentence she told me to find a new hairstylist. She got reciprocated with her same kind of energy in my ONE message back to her. They want to say “many calls”, and call out harassment, but the fact is I only spoke to them 3 times… Outgoing Call #1 to request a call from manager, Incoming call #2 to discuss Kim which resulted in tip refunded, and Outgoing call #3 to discuss my hair and options, which resulted in Zero options to remedy my hair and an unpleasant interaction w/so-called manager Sofia. Fortunately I was able to get my hair fixed elsewhere. My new stylist validated my horrible experience, while providing me with the best service. Now I just look back and laugh about this whole fiasco and warn anyone I can.

I’ve been seeing Britteny for a little over 3 years now after another salon botched my blonde. Britteny is a true artist at what she does, always goes with my crazy ideas, and is transparent with me about what it takes to achieve the results I’m aiming for! We’ve done blonde, blue, silver, light brown, red, and back to blonde in a 3 year span and she has always, always kept my hair’s integrity intact- in fact, it’s much longer and healthier than it was before I started seeing her! 10/10 recommend Britteny Bailey.

I was originally going to leave my own review until I happened to glance over the first comment listed and it was about my hairstylist, Sid. So, before I write about my own experience and thoughts, I wanted to quickly address what Sarah said because frankly, I'm rather irritated that she felt the need to publicly lie about Sid's work. First off, he would never cut someone's hair without consulting them about what they're looking for (honestly I don't think any hair stylist would just blatantly start cutting). When I first came to the salon, that was one of the first things I noticed when I started working with him... I have a hard time articulating what I want done and every time, he patiently listens to me ramble about the look I'm trying to achieve. When I'm done explaining, he reiterates to me what I had said to make sure we're on the same page. Second, the only reason he'd "leave you at the shampoo chair" is because he is letting conditioner or color or some solution sit in your hair prior to rinsing it out. He will always tell you how long it has to sit and will wrap you in a blanket (it's actually my favorite part of the experience because I normally end up taking a peaceful little nap). I honestly don't even know what to say about the "nasty comments" reference. Sid is a kind and caring person, and that remark to me is like hearing someone say that it's colder in Dallas than in Alaska... it's just not true. Anyway, I've been going to Sid for years now and my hair health is noticeably better, I leave happier than the time before (if that's even possible), and better yet, Sid has become my friend. Whether you're looking to cut or color your hair, I recommend Sid without question.

I've had worse haircuts in my life, but I have never had a worse experience getting my haircut. It started in the shampoo chair, where my stylist Sid left me for 15 minutes to work on his coworkers hair. While working on her hair they were making all kinds of nasty comments about clients they had earlier that day, and even random people walking by on the street minding their own business with no idea they were being mocked by two snobs inside the salon. After he remembered I existed, I was finally able to get out of the shampoo chair and he did the haircut. The haircut is fine, but he didn't ask what I wanted and did not even ask if I was happy at the end of the haircut. Which was astonishing to me, because every stylist I've ever worked with before has asked at the end of the cut if I was happy and if there was anything else I wanted. Not Sid, maybe he was in a hurry to get me out of there because he had wasted so much of my time on his coworker.

ERA salon is gorgeous and Britteny is my absolute favorite. Britteny manages to not only understand exactly what I ask for as far as cut/color, she somehow makes it even better than I could have imagined myself. She has a gift with mixing colors - can vouch for light colors and dark colors - and I always leave feeling stylish and fresh!

I canNOT speak highly enough of my experience at ERA Salon. From the time I arrived, to the moment I left it was nothing but top notch service, professionalism and excellence. Aundrea did my color and all I can say is she is a blonde hair whisperer! Simply incredible. I can't wait to go back next week for my blowout with her. <3
