I loved my hair. It was so bouncy. She was ready for me as soon as I arrived. There was no waiting. There was much conversation. The shop is quite comfortable, and I can’t wait to schedule the next appointment and the next morning my hair was yet bouncing and behaving I would say you should try the salon .

This shop is so perfect! My girls and I love having this as our one stop shop for all of our beauty needs! -The atmosphere always feels so luxurious and classy. As always, my hair was Beautifully done, cut and style. It was well done🥰 My talented hairstylist, Alona Sykes is always professional and personable. My hair is always beautiful when she is done. I love Ms. Alona doing my hair always, She is lovely, I love her meticulous work, and am thankful I have her as my stylist❤️ I highly recommend her work because she is an awesome hairstylist!!

Alona is the only person I will let touch my natural hair! She does such a great job educating me about the products she's using while she is styling and informing me on ways to maintain the style in between appointments. I only schedule 3 (maybe 4) times a year and she never misses a beat on knowing what my hair goals are! Thank you, Alona!!

I just had my hair done by Alona yesterday for the first time, and I have found my stylist! Alona was so professional and her shop is beautifully decorated and clean. I felt comfortable the entire time and I couldn’t be happier with how my hair turned out! I am so glad I found her because I’ve been all over the area looking for someone who not only does hair but does it well. She’s the real deal!

You won’t find a more professional, personable and knowledgeable stylist in Kansas City! I’m confident you won’t be disappointed booking with her. But in the off chance you are, she’s incredibly open to feedback to make your experience exactly how you envision it. 5 stars simply isn’t enough for what you’ll get with Alona.

Alona is amazing! She uses the best products that money can buy. Alona is very professional and friendly. She is always on time and will give you an idea of the time that it will take her to complete any service that is requested. She also tells you how much the service is ahead of time and takes payment in any way that is convenient. Her creativity is always on point and she will be honest about what is going to make you look your very best. The space is very classy and makes you feel like you are at a luxury spa.

I had the absolute BEST experience with Alona at Essence Beauty Lounge KC. She was very professional, informational, and provided tips on what I can use on my natural hair as well as how to keep up with my closure sew in. Essence Beauty Lounge KC is BEAUTIFUL and in the perfect location. Alona was on time and got me on & out. She's super reasonable and did a BOMB job on my hair, I mean it looks AMAZING! It looks natural and I can't imagine going elsewhere. She has a client forever!!!!

I’ve had my hair done by Alona for about 3 years now pretty consistently. She’s always gone above and beyond to make sure I was happy with the end of results of my sew in and was comfortable while sitting for 3 hours. None of the judgement that I’ve felt at other salons and you are guaranteed to leave happy with how your hair looks + feels. The new space is also amazing.

Overall great service!! It felt like a safe space. I was so relaxed during my facial, and my skin feels and looks amazing. I walked out relaxed and glowing. I was also able to purchase some good quality lashes and bundles while I was there. If you need any and everything done in one stop such as nails, hair, and facial, I Highly recommend y’all check them out!!!
