I can’t express enough how happy and grateful I am to Arlenis, she fixed up a mess that I have done to my nails in another place and turned it into something amazing. You guys saved my engagement pictures! I recommend this place 100 %, She and her team are passionate about what they do, she understands and respects what you want and treats you the best way. I will surely follow this woman wherever she goes!

I love this place! Arlenis and her beautiful team are the real deal. I had a pedicure, scrub, gel detox, file, and buff. I don't get polish, but my toenails are still shining from the buff 7 days later. Essentials Salon did NOT disappoint! I will be back and bringing all my friends/family. Definitely a great addition to my Self-care Routine.

Arlenis was the BEST! She really cares about the quality of her work and I felt like a QUEEN after getting my nails done by her! She was so personable, too. Offered me wine and we had a girl’s chat. My time here at the salon felt so fun and when i am in town again I will always book with this salon! She gave me a hand massage along with cleaning my cuticles, and it was done so well! I would trust this business with my LIFE when it comes to nails. 10/10 would recommend.

When I come home to Columbia, SC from Charlotte, NC, I have to visit Arlenis at Essentials Salon to get a manicure and pedicure. She is amazing!!! She is an absolute treasure with a great location right on Main Street in Columbia, SC!

Came to Columbia for a quick visit. Was in a rush, when I got to Columbia I needed a Pedicure at 5:30 on a Friday - I knew it was a long shot. Saw Essentials reviews, called and the owner said that she could get me in. Small quaint salon with BIG personality! The owner is incredibly nice and the Pedicure was EXCELLENT! Would definitely return if I am back in Columbia anytime! Such a nice experience and the owner makes you feel so welcoming! Highly recommend!

Arlene is like a fairy godmother! I called to see if she had time to *squeeze* me in between appointments. She not only has time to do a mani/pedi, she told me to get ready for an event in her upstairs loft. Glass of wine included!!! I can't thank her enough for giving me a safe space to have self-care. Arlenis is the best; I trust no other to touch my nails! Her pedicures are everything & she knows a lot about nail health-she alerted me of my high blood pressure by the way my nails looked. I could not ask for a better nail salon!

I was skeptical about getting my feet done only because I'm very ticklish, however the owner Mrs. Arlenis did such an amazing job and had me at ease the entire time. She's also very funny and personable. If you are ever in South Carolina, this is the only salon you should visit. I will recommend anyone to visit this establishment if they want the BEST manicure and pedicure ever!!!

Went in for a pedicure. There were two men sitting in chairs drinking coronas and the lady who was sitting down asked what service did I want. I stated a pedicure and she said that she was unavailable and try another time. All three of them were just sitting down and did not want to service me.

I got my nails and a pedicure here and they did a great job and were very quick ! They did a great massage and I loved the products they used for the pedicure left my feet and skin feeling soooo smooth!!!
