I love this salon. I came out with my hair feeling softer then ever. The hair stylist was so nice and understanding. I would recommend this salon to anyone who is interested in getting their hair done.

I have been coming to see Belinda since I first moved to York from NYC. She is so knowledgeable of how to cultivate natural hair. My natural hair is well conditioned and has doubled in length! She expertly navigates my hair; my 2 sons and daughter have become her newest clients. Belinda is truly a hair guru! Any style, design or latest trends; she is on it! Come to the full server salon to get your nails and eyes lashes & brows done. The Essentials Salon staff does it all!

My daughter travels from Enola to York to get her hair done because Belinda is the absolute best. She is kind, patient, and loves what she does. Since my daughter has been going to this salon, her hair has grown so much. I love how confident she is and how much she loves her hair. That is all because of Belinda!

In and out! By the time i sat in the chair i was out. Got a few braids and am completely satisfied with the work. The people are friendly and the prices are reasonable. Worth the experience.

It's been 12 years. I have followed the owner around York County. And I would never go anywhere else. Why would you need too? Essentials does hairstyling, coloring, braiding, extensions, box braids, waxing, eyelash extensions, eyebrow tattoo and..........drum roll please.........NAILS! Oh yeah, and Spa treatments Coca-Cola bottle shaping, lifting or facials. Make and keep your appointment! Do not irritate the stylist. They do not allow CHILDREN that are not receiving services. Prices are listed as soon as you walk in the door so please read do not interrupt the services being performed. All the stylists are excellent and professional so Book according to availability. Essentials services ALL hair types as a Professional Licensed Salon should and so often does not! And it's conveniently located off I-83.
