Hands down the best highlighting experience in my life. Joey is kind, patient, everything you want in a stylist. If you book, he is very much one of those that you can absolutely give him the reigns to your hair and it will turn out better than anything you could possibly describe or show a picture of. My wife and I went to Estee Salon for a haircut. Samina did a wonderful job on both of us. My wife had hair colour and balayage and she looked gorgeous. The salon’s ambience is excellent, the receptionist Sarah was amazing too. We will always go to Samina and highly recommend anyone to go to her.

Samina is literally an angel. She works hard and she works diligently to give you exactly what you ask for. She’s been doing my hair for years and after I moved to Charlotte, I had to start making the drive back to her because nobody could ever achieve the results that she could with my hair. She’s personable and truly has your best interest at heart when it comes to your head!

Doesn't participate in hair donation cutting! I found this salon as a 'participating salon' for hair cuts when donating hair to Children With Hair Loss. When I called to make the appointment, I asked if they were still participating in that and they said yes and noted it for my appointment. I arrived and the hair dresser knew I was donating it and at the end of the cut she passed me off to the front desk and I thought it was just to get an envelope for the tip but I was asked to pay FULL PRICE. I could have gone anywhere if I knew I would be paying anyway for the cut. Needless to say, I left feeling annoyed that I paid more than I would have normally. I could have easily just gone to Great Clips and received the same cut and style for only $20 instead of $55. I thought I would be tipping about $30 for a free cut but after $55, no way could I justify that. Additionally, I was out in less than 30 minutes! My cut was very simple, exactly as I would have received at Great Clips, less the shampooing (which honestly wasn't necessary anyway).

Had a Groupon for full balayage value 225. Said hair too damaged and can only do toner and charged me $50 more! Didn’t even get full value of Groupon. Felt ripped off and cannot recommend. I have bought Groupons over the years and first time they only have a % of what was even paid. Thought about paying for toner and saving Groupon but they may say the same thing and I would rather go somewhere with some class. Just my opinion. Response: What is the difference between reverse balayage and regular balayage? Reverse balayage definition is adding lowlights, he added toner only, no foils, no perm color. No, it does not clear up how you didn't at least honor what I paid for the groupon and on top of that charged me $50 more for an hour and a half of work compared to 5 hours which you originally stated for full balayage? Again, I would never recommend you nor give you a $ more for any service. Rip off opinion stands. The toner didn't even last 2 weeks.

I really cannot say enough good things about this hair salon! I booked initially an appointment with Joey. The color wasn’t as quite as blonde as I was hoping for, so I decided to contact the salon to see if that could help. They went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with my color. The staff is efficient and kind and worked me in one week later and brightened up the color and it is perfect!! They were so professional and kind to work with and I will 100% be using them in the future. Highly recommend!

UDATE: Had my hair highlighted by this amazing beautiful hair expert and again she did not fail me! I've gone to a few different hair color stylist over they years...never walking out with that "wow" feeling. Gave up thinking the perfect hair color specialist was a myth! Then I found EsTees Hair Salon! I've never been as thrilled as I am with my high lights! Please come visit! You will be thrilled too! Love her. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ What an incredible find! I was referred to EsTee Hair Salon and came in for a haircut! OMG! What an extremely talented Hair Pro! An amazing sweet personality and very caring nature. We talked for a bit while this beauty cut my hair and learned she has owned and ran the business for years! The salon is very pretty and inviting. It was very nice to hear the Hair stylist speak in passing being very supportive of each other. I would highly recommend visiting her at this lovely Hair Salon. Shannel is AMAZING!!!!! I moved to Raleigh 8 years ago and have been to several different salons and NEVER found one I wanted to go back too. eStee Salon is my spot now! Everyone there was so nice and welcoming! I told Shannel what I was looking for and left it in her hands and she went above and beyond! I’m very happy with the results! They offer Brazilian Blowout, Haircuts & Color, Bridal Hair & Makeup Waxing & Threading, Products and eyebrow services as well. They are very nice and welcoming. Shanelle is wonderful, she listens to what you want and goes above and beyond to get you what you want. They offer water, coffee and soda to drink while you are there as well. They are very concius of making you as comfortable as possible while you are there. I have been to many other salons in the area, and have not returned to any of them more than twice I will be back to eSTee for sure. The before and after of my hair says it all.
