Esthetics by Jeanette (EBJ) is fantastic! I’ve been here a few times for full face waxing, and the beauticians are always professional, gentle, and really pay attention to detail. They make you feel comfortable throughout the entire process. The rooms are always clean and relaxing, which makes every visit enjoyable. I definitely recommend giving them a try—I’ll be coming back for sure!

Horrible customer service, lack of understanding for first time customers coming from Elk Grove was referred here wish I never was. There are some people that have no empathy or consideration for a person that first and foremost can't find the location being it's inside of a big COUNTRY CLUB MEDICAL CENTER, just in case anybody needs help finding this place I'm sure many will. I WILL NOT EVER recommend ESTHETICS BY JEANETTE TO ANYONE ESPECIALLY AS A FIRST TIME WAX CLIENT. REALLY INCONSIDERATE (8 mins late we do tell the truth here)!!!!

Not a smooth experience, got a “maternity massage.” A massage should be a relaxing experience all around. A few things.. One, there is no couples massages. Nice place, smells great, large business but they have tiny rooms and can’t accommodate a couples massage. Two, the lady at the front said I would be getting a maternity table with a cut out, something to sustain my stomach, accommodations etc. I walk in and just see a table with two pillows. The person massaging me said they only have one of those tables and it was being used.. great expectations to set, just to walk into the bare minimum. Three, I told her it doesn’t ask you online or do they ask in person the preference of a man or woman. I am pregnant and felt uncomfortable and wanted a lady. The owner went back and forth with me, said I should have asked. It’s their establishment, online doesn’t give you a choice, and most places do ask. She offered the guy cutting down the service to just some places, which I responded wouldn’t be a full service for the same price. She shrugged saying, “well you’re paying for something” 🤷🏼‍♀️. Awful way to cater to your customers and pregnant people!! Four, there were language barriers. I asked several questions and three of the staff just looked at us blankly. Five, the sandals they have are used. One of them had a bite taken out of them and a hair. For people who value the service and experience had, it’s a poor one and the owner clearly doesn’t care.

Let me start off by saying this place is AMAZING!! I found this Spa online as I was looking for a place that did multiple services & could not find one near me that offers services like this place does. I easily booked 2 appointments online for the same day. I booked the Honey Dip & a 90 minute Swedish massage. Honey Dip: WOW! This was an experience that I've never had before!! I read other reviews raving about how great it was & let me tell you they're not kidding!! I had Nancy, who was phenomenal. I told her this was my first time there and I had no idea what to expect with this type of treatment. Before entering the treatment room, she explained what would happen, and to let her know if anything is uncomfortable. Ladies, be prepared to strip down to nothing & expose everything. The service is essentially a lay down luxurious shower, where your whole body is exfoliated and wrapped in a warm and delicious honey oil. Throughout the treatment you will receive massaging from head to toe. Your hair will also be washed, so don't wear any make up and no need to style your hair. Afterwards, my skin was the softest it's ever been and glistening. I will definitely be back for this treatment!!! Massage: I can't remember the gentleman's name but he was great, although at times a little too firm in some areas. He did great with communicating with me with what I felt comfortable with and if the pressure was too much. He definitely worked some knots out in my neck and shoulders as I told him these were areas that I had the most pain in. The massage was amazing & something I would do again. The salon itself was very nice and well-maintained. The only flaw I found was not having a private changing area. You are escorted to a room that has lockers, where you are to change into a bathrobe and strip down completely. However, in this room, there is no privacy. So I was in there with two other women who were trying to get fully dressed without exposing themselves entirely. The space is also small, so it was very awkward. The hot sauna and the steam rooms are a nice add on, but again are very small spaces. Both *can* accommodate about 3 to 4 people, but only 2 comfortably. I will definitely be returning as I did purchase their monthly membership. For the price of their monthly membership and the services that you receive with the membership it's an absolutely amazing deal!! I am so happy I found this place.

After years of being a loyal client and sending hundreds of clients to them they decided to no longer serve me because their waxers don't want to listen to their clients. The injury I received by their waxers could have been avoided.

Best Brazilian wax experience ever. From the time the first wax strip went down, we were done in 10 minutes. So quick, so clean, so kind. She explained everything. I’ve been to other places that took so long and got hairs everywhere, excruciating pain, and pieces of wax left behind. Not this place! They know exactly what they’re doing, and although it was painful, it was so quick and easy. Ask for Angelina or Brianna.

I have been getting my Brazilian wax here since 2019. But it’s a full service spa. It’s nice clean and I’ve never experienced a problem. I use the wax card and get a discount every-time. A more affordable wax compared to other wax places I’ve been to.

It was strange to get a scrub without soaking the body. The lady who did scrub even she didn't do a good job. I was freezing while she was scrubbing. And, paying 99$ for that scrub was too much. I will not come again.

Made an appointment for my first ever pedicure today. I have avoided pedicures my whole long life because I have really ugly feet. I arrived early and checked in to wait. After 30 minutes of waiting, a massage therapist asked if I was her client. I told her no and that I had waited with no one coming to get me for half an hour. She ran to check with someone and then the receptionist with whom I originally met came out looking confused. There were at least 3 to 4 manicurists who didn't appesr busy 6 ft from me behind a wall. I told the receptionist not to bother and left. I went to another salon and immediately received a lovely and stress free first pedicure. I won't be back to EBJ.

Purchased a gift certificate and it got misplaced. They refused to compensate me in any way. When I said to the receptionist that I would not be patronizing their business again, she had a very nonchalant attitude and said, “Okay”. It seemed like it didn’t matter to her that they were not going to get a repeat customer. Great job lady 👍🏽

Second time visiting EBJ and I can't say enough good things about this spa! The Honey Dip is absolutely amazing and is definitely why I came back! I had a facial both times after my honey dip and was equally impressed! Everyone is kind, helpful and the atmosphere is calm and relaxing.

This establishment fell short of my expectations. I had purchased a spa package for my wife, which was advertised on Instagram as a luxurious Royal treatment day package. Regrettably, the allotted time was insufficient for my wife to complete all the services listed, and the quality of the ones she did receive was disappointingly generic. To make matters worse, the staff disputed my purchase, asserting that I had only bought a gift card rather than a package. Consequently, they charged my wife the full price for the services she obtained using the gift card, disregarding the discounted package prices. This behavior demonstrates a lack of transparency and integrity on their part. When we requested a refund for the remaining balance on the gift card or the option to transfer it to someone else, they adamantly refused, leaving us with a frustrating waste of $600. Despite disputing the charges with my credit card company, the establishment fiercely contested the claim and ultimately prevailed, suggesting a pattern of contentious dealings following instances of customer exploitation.

Went to get a massage for the first time. Facility was nice and clean. The massage therapist (Ruslan?) didn’t communicate to ask how I was doing, whether I had any issues or pain points or anything which was very unusual for a spa. Also didn’t ask about the amount of pressure during the massage and was a bit rough. I also didn’t receive the foot soak before my massage that everyone talks about. I was told that I was one of the last appointments for the day and therefore was requested to pay in advance of service, which I did. I guess everyone was ready to go home and later services don’t get the same attention which is unfortunate. I submitted feedback to spa and haven’t heard from anyone. Maybe some of others are better. Hope this review helps someone else.
