Can’t even begin to explain how great of an experience I had at Etch Salon today. My stylist, Steph, was very knowledgeable and delivered the (actually) best haircut I’ve ever had. She took the time to discuss my hair goals with me and educated me on what the best route would be for the cut. I’ve never been great at styling my hair, but after Steph took me through the steps, I feel much more comfortable and confident moving forward. Everyone here is so nice and the atmosphere feels warm and welcoming. Management was attentive and the space was perfectly curated. If you’re thinking about making an appointment here, do it! You won’t regret it.

SO glad I found this salon! I recently moved from San Diego and after an appt w a dif salon and stylist that went awful, I decided to just fly back everytime I needed my hair done! I decided this was ridiculous and went on the Kerastase website to find their salons. I found etch and it was 8 mins from my house…. The whole booking process was very simple, great location as far as parking goes and beautiful salon. Everyone is super friendly…. All which is irrelevant if you don’t love your hair after your appt! Thankfully I found Brittanie, who listened to the formula I gave her from my SD stylist and was soo accommodating. My last visit we decided to switch the formula up, after I showed her a pic of what I was looking for. I’ve never been so happy w my hair color! She is so great w blonde and keeping ur hairs health and integrity in mind while at the same time getting the perfect color. I cannot recommend a stylist more! Added benefit, she’s great to chat with and such a sweetheart! 10/10 if u r blonde and looking for a stylist go to etch and see Brittanie!

Saghar Harandi has been doing my hair for more than four years and I wouldn’t be going to her if she wasn’t amazing. She’s a talented artist and dedicated to her work, she understands exactly what you want and need, and always makes sure that you leave looking radiant, fabulous and gorgeous. I started seeing Hamzah at the suggestion of my niece who had been raving about him for a while. My hair needed a solid dose of TLC and he has delivered. He is so attentive to detail and truly listens to what I’m looking for. He is exceptionally gifted with color but more than that he goes above and beyond and makes me feel so taken care of every time I visit the salon. And let me tell you, the best head massage ever! I could not recommend Hamzah’s skill and level of service more.

My wife and I decided to drop in last minute for haircuts while on a weekend getaway in Scottsdale. The salon was amazing…front desk staff totally rocked and the haircuts by Hannah and Sydney were amazing! We will definitely come back on our next visit!

Even though other people have left good reviews, I find this place to be way overpriced. I was charged $250 for color and just a few highlights. No cut, no blow dry. I left the salon with wet hair. This did not include the 20% tip. I was in the chair for about 2 hours, but much of that time was spent with the assistant. While shampooing me, the assistant constantly tried to upsell me with shampoo, a facial, and a $45 treatment that I didn't want or need. I went to NextDoor to post and ask for advice and the response was overwhelming that I had been ripped off. I received over 60 responses in less than 24 hours with many recommendations about who to go to. I will not return to Etch and you should watch out for this place.

I highly recommend Etch Salon! Everybody is so helpful and friendly! Rod Ortega is absolutely amazing! I showed him a picture of what I wanted. He nailed it. This is the best experience I have ever had with cutting my hair. Thank you Etch Salon and Rod Ortega!!!

Brittanie is the absolute best colorist and stylist. I’ve never received so many compliments on my hair —both color and cut. I have challenging hair and Brittanie always takes the time to make sure it’s perfect before I leave the salon. I highly recommend Brittanie; you will love her and your hair!

Hamzah does an amazing job with hair every single time. I would recommend him for all hair types, but especially for anyone with naturally darker hair. It’s very hard to find someone who does a good job with racially diverse hair and he does fantastic work!

I got my hair colored today by Hamza at Etch Salon and the color is phenomenal !! He truly is amazing and the best hairstylist I’ve ever been to. Samire did a fabulous job on my color. She did her research and truly cared about my happiness with my hair when we were finished. She asked every question in the book and got my hair to be even better than my inspo picture. She educated me every step of the way telling me exactly what she was doing even down to the science. If you are looking to go copper or any color in the reds, book with Samire!

Hanza does the BEST COLOR - he uses all the latest techniques and really has a passion for his work. My color was so beautiful and he also makes sure to maintain the integrity of the hair by keeping it healthy. I also love how he does the blowouts and beach waves they lasted a long time. I will definately be going back.

I came to this salon for color correction and a haircut. My hair was yellow and brassy from other places where they never achieved the look I requested and my hair ended up severly damaged. Hamza was my stylist and I am so greatful because not only he gave me exactly what I was asking for, he also did it in such a professional way that my hair is looking healthier than ever. I have so many wonderful things to say about ETCH Salon, but I’m going to keep it simple and straight to the point. First and foremost, management goes above and beyond. Secondly, Hamzah has so much talent. I am extremely happy with the outcome of my hair! Hamzah took the time to make sure I walked out of the salon happy with his work. Really accommodating if you reside in multiple places! Originally I came here to go back to my natural hair color after years of being blonde. I was thrilled when Kianah color matched my hair beautifully to my natural in one session. As the blonde remains underneath my old outgrowth, I go in from time to time to get my natural color re-glossed over it. I am not always in AZ, so I called ETCH to ask for the formula for my color so that I would be able to get my hair done without a 4 hour plane ride. Understandably, sharing a custom formula caused a bit of hesitation, but to my delight they shared mine with me. I am thrilled that ETCH is a salon that is transparent and eager to help their clients, and I look forward to going back the next time I need my hair done in Scottsdale!

Marisa at Etch Salon is an absolute miracle worker when it comes to balayage! I always leave her chair feeling like a brand new person. Not only is she incredibly talented at creating beautiful, natural-looking color, but she also has such a warm and welcoming personality. Hairstylist is Marisa and she is incredible. Holy moly. She brought my hair back to life. I had an awful experience with my last salon that kind of damaged a little bit of my hair and to have someone who is so knowledgeable was willing to be patient and teach me how to do my bangs every morning and willing to work with me to find the best product for my hair. I am so pleased and I feel like I got my confidence back. Definitely ask for Marisa.💜
