Hi! So I come to Evelyn’s after every install to let my natural hair breathe. I love their services, I tend to get there super early, I like being the 1st, 2nd, or third person there lol. All the women to me do hair good. I only come for a blowout & I leave happy every time .

My experience in the shop today was unbelievable. So the young lady who works the register also work the floor as well. Her conversation with her co worker N word this N word that. I sat there so uncomfortable listening to the loud conversation. Also the lady who done my hair couldn’t speak fluent English. We both can to in agreement on how I wanted my hair dyed. So she pretty much didn’t listen to what I told her at all. This lady dyed my whole head I simply just wanted three sections dyed. I was pissed about that. And when she was finish she tried to over charge me. The total was $225 and she seen I took out $200 from my purse.She changed the price an said $200. Everything should have been at least $125. I will never do business with this salon ever again.

I started going to Evelyn's to get blow outs for my hair about 5 years ago and completely loved the results, I have since moved to Greenwood IN and have tried various places but found myself making the trip back to Evelyn's for my hair beacuse there is just no comparison!

Best blow outs in the city

I went twice before and they did a really good job. The wash job was rough the first time Then another person did it the next time I went and it was good. But the third time I went someone put relaxer in my hair without telling me. Because I washed my hair after a month and it was falling out by the roots and in random places. It felt like matted Barbie hair and there are no curls anymore. The whole shower smelled like burnt hair afterwards. Now my hair has breakage in random places and it sucks to comb through so I had to cut it and I’m currently regrowing it.

Had to just walk out after waiting 2 hours to get my hair done ! Twice I was skipped to start on somebody else’s wash & blow when I was seated first . A woman who came in and hour and half after me was serviced before I was. Felt very disrespected after traveling an hour to be serviced and never receiving the service

I had been going for months. The price started changing and my hair is not shoulder length. I have referred family and friends. The ladies are sometimes rude. The wash is aggressive. It's just not the same as before.

I have very thick and natural hair that is hard for me and other shops to maintain. I personally like Erica. She straightens my hair like no other. She clips my split ends correctly. My hair is always silky straight when I leave out of there. #I love this shop.

My 12nyear old daughters hair was beautiful until we went here! Someone put a texerizer on her hair now its dry, and broken off all over her head! Putting a chemical on anyones hair without their knowledge is illegal! I cant cut all my daughters hair because she is 12! That would devastate her!

They charged way too much for the haircut and blow dry without even informing me the total price ... Very pricey will not go again to this salon again. Much disappointed with their service . Will not recommend it to anyone .

This is the first salon I have been to for over 5 years it was a last minute gift to myself. Do not get me wrong I loved the service what saddens me was the burnt on my head I was charged $300 I just didn’t think it was fair believe me I am getting called out now by friends and family for not speaking up!

Wonderful first experience here, got a haircut, with full wash and scalp treatment and couldn't have had a better experience elsewhere. Really enjoyed the manager and how precise she was with getting my haircut to match my every detail
