I had such a great time at Evolve! Paige was awesome and took the time/care to get to know me and what I wanted for my nails. The chill vibes and complimentary drinks were definitely a plus. I’ll be back and will be recommending to all of my friends!

Beth has been cutting my hair for over a decade, and just recently started coloring it. I don't trust anyone else with my hair but Beth! I lost my hair to chemo a few years ago, and throughout my hair-growing transition, she has given me stellar cuts and dynamic highlighting - I get stopped on the street because people want to know, who did your hair? I've never had an awkward growing-out stage because Beth is a hair genius - I always leave her salon feeling confident and amazing.

Beth is absolutely wonderful! I've been a faithful client since she started her own business 13 years ago. I've never wanted to go anywhere else since, and I hope I never have to! Beth knows how to make you feel exactly how you want to. You are in your own hair 24/7-- it's an expression of "you," and somehow she always finds the best me and makes it easier for me to keep finding that best me over time. Beth is seriously the best. Between the perfect atmosphere of her business, the cutest salon pup in all the land, and her care and attention to her craft, there's no one else I would trust to do my hair ever again. Her coloring skills are incredible, and she truly pays attention to what is flattering and obtainable with your hair. I've never left a salon feeling as confident and happy as I do when I walk out her door. Everyone should support the coolest local business, and lady, and go to Evolve!

I always leave feeling beautiful and pleased with my results. Her studio is relaxed and fun, and I also love the products she uses which give great results. I have been visiting Evolve for years and have recommended it to people who are now also loyal patrons. This is a space where artists work to make people feel their best. Truly. As soon as I walk in, no matter how many times I've been, I love taking in the color and brightness of the space and all of the little details like the gorgeous plants, great art, and even the bougie hand towels in the bathroom. What follows is treat after treat - from fizzy beverages to whatever level of chatting I would like that day. From calming shampoo head rubs, cuts and colors crafted to compliment my bone structure and skin tone, consultation about (addictive) products that NEVER feels pushy, and advice on styling. Evolve is an experience that I feel is curated for me and is a gift I give myself.

While I was unhappy with the outcome of my hair, it was due to a very unfortunate misunderstanding, and Beth was willing to help resolve the issue any way she was able. Her shop is a nice change and environment from ordinary salons.

Beth is the best! I have been going to her for close to 10 years now. I'm sure I'm not the easiest client to have given my desire to change my hair kind of drastically and frequently. Beth has always talked through my vision and used her years of expertise in the field to make my vision a reality. I have literally gone from blonde, to black, and back to blonde with Beth. I am constantly getting compliments on my hair from people all over Pittsburgh and always point them toward Beth. I could not recommend her highly enough.

Beth is without a doubt the best hairstylist I have had in my 43 years. She makes me look and feel great every time I go in for a haircut or color. I have thick wiry hair that no one ever properly layered until I found Evolve! She tamed my mess and my hair looks amazing after Beth is finished with it. Beth at Evolve has been my stylist for the past 5 years and I cannot say enough good things about the quality of her craft! I like to say it took me 24 years to figure out what to do with my thick, heavy hair and that was all thanks to Beth! She convinced me to change up style and I've never looked back! She's also a joy to be around, using quality, and sustainable products, in a clean, welcoming environment. The online appointment scheduler makes it super easy to book appts, with a wide range of times to meet anyone's schedule. She's also more than happy to work with you in any capacity schedule challenges to hair frustrations. Like having a good mechanic, I feel so lucky to have discovered Beth and Evolve!

Beth is AMAZING. She puts up with me dying my hair dark only to return demanding to be "super blonde" the next time. She is so upfront about what can/cannot be done with your hair during the appointment and makes sure she knows exactly what you want. She doesn't judge me for refusing to cut my hair, even though it 100% needs it. The best thing about Beth is that she is SO up on all the latest trends. Beth was olaplex'ing before the Kardashians we're sleeping in the stuff, she was balayage'ing hair before the rest of the world could pronounce it. Scheduling is a breeze, and she e-mails you a few days in advance to remind you of your appointment. If you want high end, go to Evolve!

I went in and said, "so I looked at your website, and I'm just going to let you do whatever you want." yes, bold. Yes, Beth thought I was nuts and totally freaked out. This is what I love about her, she is super honest and won't allow you to do anything that will traumatize you, or your hair. We (and by we I mean she, cause I just sat there) chopped it into an asymmetric cut with tiny baby bangs, still one of my favorite looks. Evolve Modern Hairdressing is a quaint salon that provides personalized one-on-one service. Seriously, it's just you and her, and some hot jams in the background. No kids running around, no annoying person to your side that you have to pretend your not staring at while your color gets done. And, if you don't feel like talking...she doesn't get offended! It's awesome. I have gone from long, to short to long, and back to short. Recently, we have been playing with color and I think this is where Beth really shines. Her color, crazy or natural toned, is multi dimensional and long lasting (as long as you listen to what she tells you to do). I also love the various cuts I have gotten from her over the years. My favorite thing about them is that they actually get better as they grow out. WWWHHHAAAA!?!?!?! Yeeahhh. You'll just have to experience that for yourself.

Wonderful and creative colorist and a precise adventurous stylist, Beth always makes you feel great and her funny, caring ways will keep you smiling throughout your appointment. The salon itself is clean and cheery. Go to evolve modern hairdressing, you won't regret it.

I absolutely love Evolve! I've tried a number of stylists in the Pittsburgh area over the years, and Beth is the simply best, hands down. In the 2+ years I've been going to Evolve, I've never had a less than stellar experience -- I always love the way I look when I leave. In addition to haircuts, Beth has done my hair and makeup for two special occasions and both times I receives tons of compliments. The salon is always very clean and stylish, and Beth takes time to understand exactly what I want to do with my hair and she makes it happen every time. I've sent a few friends to Beth as well, and they've been equally pleased. I cannot recommend Evolve highly enough.
