I’ve been going here for a few years now. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. The place always smells good. They have complimentary tea and sodas. I feel like it’s a mini spa day every time I go. It’s also one of the more affordable places in the city for the level of service they provide.

Firstly let me say, I never write reviews but this salon is definitely worthy. I had my first experience with the salon yesterday evening and all I can say is wow! What an amazing experience! Unfortunately my stylist that I had been seeing for years moved to another state and I had to find a new stylist. I was super nervous because of my fragile and thinning hair but Becca took incredible care of me to make sure I looked and felt my absolute best before leaving the salon. Definitely recommend!

Absolutely awful haircut that has left me extremely upset and disappointed - I specifically asked for a layered cut that would still look good when my hair is straight, and was assured that it would. Pictures show that it definitely does not look good straight - choppy layers that have to be curled just to look blended. I feel that my hair has been ruined and looked better before I ever stepped into this salon. The fact that I paid for this is just ridiculous on my opinion.

I LOVE this salon! It is beautiful, has a great energy, incredible services, products and highly trained stylist. Maggie (the owner) is exceptional in every way, as a person, as a business owner and everything in between. Her leadership has created a very enjoyable atmosphere amongst her employees and clients. I've been a client of Joshua Howard for 10+ years and he's remarkable. He's a very talented stylist/colorists and every very time I have my hair appointment it feels as if I'm meeting with an old friend, we chit chat and all the while my hair is getting it pizazz back.

I have been seeing Maggie for about 8+ years now. I went to her after a hair disaster (it was bangs!) Since then she has guided me on the best hair journey a girl could ask for. From short cuts, to length, the skills she have no boundaries. Her coloring is absolutely an art form of perfection. She is knowledge and willing to go edgy! I also love spending time in her salon! Everyone there is always so quick to share a quip and a laugh (at my bangs story). Ending here, moral of the story is, GO see Maggie!

I’ve been going to experience a hair spa for years and love my time there! The atmosphere is so warm and inviting! Everyone is so friendly. Aleshia is amazing at what she does and always takes my many requests and nails it everytime! I leave the salon rejuvenated and confident every visit!

Attached is a pic of the reference photo vs my cut! My stylist Rachel was VERY kind and helpful, listened to my thoughts on what i wanted to do with my hair, and helped me gain the courage to go with the asymmetrical look ive been thinking about for years! The ONLY thing is i think it could be a bit more asymmetrical but my curls bounced back a lot more than either one of us were expecting haha! She also showed me some techniques on how to bring the best out of my curls, and helped me find products that actually worked well for my hair! Definitely coming back forever, i already have a session booked for some color! Also, the venue itself is super classy! This was my first experience in a "real salon" (i used to go to a beauty school to have students cut my hair for cheap) and immediately i was offered something to drink! (I got water but didnt ask if they had anything else) Its very open and inviting, and the shampoo station is in a dimly lit room for maximum relax. The prices are very fair as well! Definitely more than having student in training, but i believe a fair price for a trained professional. I highly recommend this place if you want to support a small business that truly is a great "experience"!

I've been going to experience since they opened! I've sat in most of the stylists chairs and can honestly say I love them all! I tend to book with Maggie the most, but it's such a warm, welcoming atmosphere with stylists who keep up with the latest trends. I highly recommend giving them a try!

I have been going to Experience since about 2017. Every time I go they treat you like family. I’ve gone to Brooke my last few times and it’s always a great cut and conversation. I most recently went to Josh (who is helping Brooke out with her clients) and he did a fantastic job as well. I would recommend this to any guy wanting the full haircut experience in a clean and professional setting.

This was a wonderful salon experience. I truly loved the atmosphere and the care I received. My stylist was Becca, she was so nice and easy to talk to while she worked on my hair. I have curly hair and I wanted layers. She was so attentive about what works for my hair and gave me an amazing cut. I am very satisfied and will definitely recommend her to other curly heads!
