First I want to start off by saying all the great reviews you’re reading, take with the smallest grain of salt. The reviews are what made me book with Porsha initially. I was so excited to get my hair silk pressed for the first time after my big chop over a year and a few months ago. I recorded every step of the process because I like to create content and to my surprise I was going to have the typical “I can’t believe this happened to me” type experience. In this video is an “experienced” professional who trimmed my hair. I have never had someone who mess up my hair so badly!! As you can see it was very choppy and this was supposed to be a trim y’all… after she told me my ends weren’t that bad. Her professionalism when I asked for a refund was hostile and rude. She said my hair was dry and damaged and that’s not the case. She was trying to gaslight me into thinking I did something wrong and it was because my hair was “untrained” I get my hair straightened 1-2x a year and no other stylist has ever had problems… and I never had problems with maintenance afterwards either. So all I know is, I will never be going to her again, she chopped my hair terribly, and she’s probably not as experienced as she claims to be and she’s unapologetic about it. 0/10 recommend.

Very unprofessional. Took my appointment notified them I was running late said I could still come and waited till I got there in the chair to say they couldn’t take me after driving 30 mins. I would never go to again don’t recommend.

Porsha was great! She had multiple clients at once and was still able to get us in and out of her chair in a timely manner! Impressive! I came across her on TikTok and I’m so glad I did. I love my finger waves and have been getting compliments since I left the shop! The shop was clean, she has great taste in music lol and she’s a cool vibe/funny. I plan to return!

I have been looking for someone new to do my silk press that can give me the results I want. Stumbled upon this work on Instagram and booked Johnae! She is very professional and took good care or my natural hair. I think I found a new stylist to do my hair for the future. Shop is clean and prices are reasonable.
