What a great experience!! I went to the salon with no idea what I wanted to do with my hair. I was given suggestions during my consultation of a few different styles that he thought would look good and work well with my hair type (which is very fine and thin) I left it up to him, only requested that he not cut it too short. Well I left with a great cut that is easy to maintain and feels and looks healthy. Not only was the cut and service great, he also uses products that he has just created, that work great and SMELLS AMAZING!! ❤️ this place!!

I came in with a specific idea of what I wanted, and Rob managed to convince me that doing the color a certain way would be best, even though it wasn't what I wanted. Between the highlights being left on too long and a completely different haircut than I wanted (though it was a good cut, just not what I envisioned), I was extremely dissatisfied. I spent a lot of time researching various salons in the area and selected Expressions since they had the best reviews. Turns out they buy good reviews with significant discounts on services and product if the customer leaves them 5 stars. Extremely regret spending $250 on a cut and color that I had to have corrected at another salon a week later.

WOW!!! I've been dying my hair black with box color for over a decade. Lately I've been thinking that I'd like to try something different, a color that's a little softer and more romantic or fun to me. I knew it could be difficult to try something like that in light of the black dye I'd applied, sometimes unevenly, over and over throughout the years. Well, I made an appointment at Expressions in Hair at the recommendation of my husband and took a picture of a natural-looking reddish-brown color to Fran, Rob, and Robin (and Farah :) to my appointment. In less than three hours I had a new color and cut that looked just like the picture. During my appointment, Fran and Rob kept double-checking both the picture I brought in and my hair in different lights to make sure we got it right. I could tell they're highly experienced and cared about getting it right. If they can take me from box-dyed black hair to a beautiful, natural-looking reddish-brown in three hours, they can do anything.

By far the best hair salon you will find. Fran does amazing color. She works with you to figure out exactly what color you want and how to make it perfect. From highlights to total color - she is an expert. No other stylist has been able to cut and manage my hair like Rob. From curly to straight, it is just how I want it. Both are an awesome team - patient, kind and so easy to talk with. Not only is my hair perfect when I leave, but my soul is refreshed. And Rob has his own product line, shampoo, conditioner, crème, hair spray. These products are organic; they don't dry your hair or leave residue. Even my 11 year old son asks me to buy them! I moved six years ago from the area and have tried different stylists closer to my house, but none can compare. I drive three hours to get my hair done! I promise you will not be disappointed.

This place...is great! I have some curly hair and have had a few places/stylists tell me that they don't work with curly hair often and I'm usually left with dull results. Rob was super awesome. He talked with me about what I wanted and I told him all of my hair horror stories...and he rocked. it. out!! I will say, I am more used to the $20 haircuts...but maybe that was the problem. I was going to places that are fast in, fast out...the girls cutting your hair could care less. I paid $65 for my first cut and it feels like a $65 haircut. I feel like I got a stylist who actually wanted me to leave happy and he spent the time to make me feel that way so, it's worth the price. And not only did he cut and style it well, he gave me some pointers on how to maintain that same look at home, real easy...which I'm all about. I could not be happier with my first experience with Expressions in Hair. I will be back in 8 weeks for another go.

As a person that has no idea what to do with his hair or what kind of haircut to even get, this place solves all my problems! Rob took the time to get to know me and gave me a haircut that not only suited my personality and profession perfectly but also garnered a ton of compliments. So when you aren't sure what you want to do withe your hair or just want some amazing advice, I highly recommend seeing Rob. He truly is an artisan of hair.

Best salon ever. Period. The stylists are amazing, but the shampoo alone would keep me coming back. I never have to worry about having unmanageable hair anymore since I started using Sanzi Hair Care products, and I have some difficult to manage hair so that says a lot!

I learned about Expression in Hair by the article written about them in the Dominion Post Feb 2015. I tried some of the hair products first ( shampoo and conditioner ) which I love. Then my husband told me to give them a try and I did. I've waited on giving a review based on wanting to see how my hair looked after growing out some. I am as excited about my haircut now as when I first got it last month. I also bought the rest of the hair products, which Rob and Robin has created a homerun !! I am a person whose all thumbs when it comes to doing hair and with their products and hair cut I am able to do my hair with confidence !!!

Always a great experience. Rob convinced me yesterday to make the big cut--and donate it to Locks of Love. I walked out happy, well-styled, and feeling good about myself for choosing to help sick children at the same time. Thanks Rob, Fran, and Robin! When a friend recently had a bad experience elsewhere, my first response was, "go see Rob."

I had my hair cut by Rob at Expressions in Hair. It was very clear that he was experienced and knew what he was doing. The cut didn't take very long and looked great! It was my first time since I had moved to the US looking for a professional stylist, I asked from some of my american friends and all of them suggested Rob. When I met him, he seemed to be professional and also friendly and patient. He listened to my opinions and comments, and at the end he suggested a kind of bob and I liked it. It was unbelievably nice style for me, and all of my friends got surprised with my new hair style. I think I can claim that he is the best one in this area. I never plan on going to any other salon. Thank you Rob for taking such a good care of me.

Rob listened, talked to me, made suggestions and gave me the best haircut I've had in my 63 years of living. He fixed a problem area nobody else could ever fix. I bought hair products that, for once, I will not be returning for my money back. I am moving so sadly I won't be able to continue going to Expressions but I highly recommend it to anyone who hasn't been happy elsewhere.

Being new to Morgantown, I turned to the internet for recommendations on places to get a great haircut. Rob at Expressions In Hair listened to what I wanted, and the results were awesome! He is clearly very experienced and knew just what to do with my very fine-textured hair. I also bought one of their styling products and am extremely happy with the quality. Everyone in the store was warm and welcoming, and my hair looks amazing. Highly recommended!

I haven't been in this place at all and from reading the reviews and the owners responses to upset customers its very obvious that they only care about deep pockets and their own opinions. Not once did i read an owners response to a bad review that at all addressed the review except calling the customer a liar pretty much other than that it was nothing but phony sales pitches people like this will lose their business in the end because not everyone has to money to just agree with a dumbass

I have been coming to Expressions In Hair since the very beginning when I moved to WV from Alabama 8 years ago. I did not know where to go to find a good hair stylist and I asked around and several people told me to go see Rob at Expressions. I am so glad I did. I am a big fan of all their services and take advantage of the SPA about twice a month. I tell Rob that he could make a wicked witch look good :). He chooses the hair style that is best for my facial features and the time I have to spend on my hair. When or if I color my hair, Fran does a good job picking out the color. Robyn can massage away all my stress. I never plan on going to any other salon. Thank you guys for taking such good care of me.

I just moved to the area and needed to find a new salon. After two "wrong choices" i found Rob at Expressions and my hair looks great! He takes the time before your cut to discuss what you are wanting to do with your hair and is very honest about how he thinks it will work with your features. They do a really great job with color also. As far as pricing they are a little lower than the other salons i have visited in the area. So happy i found them!
