Knowledgeable hair stylist but weird personality can make you uncomfortable. Takes an extremely long time to do basic styles. 5-8hrs is the minimum. Hard to reach for appts.

6/10 experience This experience (silk press) was fairly new to me so I really didn’t go in with high hopes just because it was my first, and I have 4C hair, and I’ve heard time and time again your silk press won’t be the silkiest the first time around. Some problems I had were that she combed my hair out with a pik; there was no secondary heat protection used after the “hair milk” conditioner that had heat protection in it. The blowdry to straighten my hair out wasn’t that good; I think I could’ve benefited from more tension, which would’ve helped my silk press get silkier. I’ve gotten my hair straighter when blow drying. She had 3 flat irons plugged up; not sure if she used all three, but multiple passes were made even with the hot comb. I told her about my extremely sensitive scalp; she did her best to accommodate that, but it still felt rushed, especially when her other two clients came in. My scalp is still sore 4 days later. I asked her if she could wrap my hair just because again it was my first time and I didn’t want my hair to start reverting as soon as I went outside. She told me no because I didn’t have anything and she was sold out, but she wrapped another client's hair; yes, her hair was longer (my hair is at least shoulder length), and she even put a shower cap on her head. I mentioned to her that the hair milk made my hair feel soft while it was in, but after being rinsed out, my hair felt like straw. She told me it was because she wasn’t done with my service; my hair still felt the same when finished. I’m still contemplating if I should go back just because I don’t feel like she’s experienced enough with 4C hair just because it took so long. My appointment was at 11 a.m. and didn’t get done until late at 7 p.m. She did take clients in between me though. Also, she’s an add stylist, so be careful with that. Be sure to read everything on the booking site. Pros: she’s nice, you’ll have interesting conversations, and she works pretty fast from what I've seen on looser, longer textures. She complimented my hair the whole time, which didn’t make me feel bad about it. (First silk press after big chopping a year ago.) I paid $168 excluding the $28 deposit. I was charged for the silk press that only comes with a shampoo, hair milk (non-negotiable) with service, detangling fee, and shear cut. I included pictures of my natural texture and pics post-service.

This stylist named beautiful is a scammer! This lady tells me a 99 dollar silk press does not include conditioner only shampoo. This info was disclosed at the end of service when she told me the conditioner was an extra 28 dollars. This lady is weird and lacks social skills. First and last time, do not book with them.

Beautiful has been a lifesaver! She was the first stylist I went to after going natural and I was not really comfortable trusting anyone with my hair. She was kind, respectful of my hesitation and really worked with me so that I was comfortable in her hands. Since seeing her, my hair is so much more healthy and has grown considerably.And the silk presses she gives are stunning! The shine and movement of my hair is remarkable! I can't thank her enough for helping me on my natural hair journey and I'd recommend anyone in the Atlanta area to pay her a visit, especially those new to silk presses or managing their natural hair.

I went twice. The first time she was late so I gave her the benefit of doubt but I went back a second time and it was horrible. She did not remember she scheduled the appointment so she was already working on someone else’s hair. She had an attitude that I was annoyed and asked me to wait another 30 minutes before starting. She rushed through it and the quality of work was not good and was clearly rushed. I don’t see the point of booking a reservation if you are sharing your appointment with the stylist bouncing back and forth between clients. I unfortunately won’t be coming back. -Follow up- My daughter was the one who brought all of these concerns to me! It’s extremely unprofessional for a company to respond like this instead of offering some accountability. My daughter is 8 and has now complained that her hair is not straight like it was initially. The point of reviews is to give honest feedback. If it is not received then service should be improved. Thank you

I’m very cautious with who I trust my hair with and I love my silk presses with Beautiful! I love that she doesn’t use too much heat but it still looks amazing.

Beautiful was exceptional! She was so helpful during my injury as well. I was able to stand at certain points while she continued doing my hair and it made the experience I was initially worried about, much easy. This was my second time getting a silk press with her. You will definitely have a personalized experience at this salon! No long waits and out on time— Beautiful is also timely! I love my experience here.

Great place to go if you're in the Atlanta area. Amazing service I got a four step shaampoo wash and my hair was so silky and shiny when i left. I also only booked a day and advance. My stylist was so nice and friendly definley coming here next time im in the A!

She is the Silk Press Queen!!! It was my first time getting my hair done in Atlanta and I have NEVER had a silk press that lasted this long. It has been over a week! The body, the bounce, the shine; it's giving everything. She got all the roots and has had my hair blowing in the wind. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this salon.

I want to share with you all about my recent experience at ESP hair salon that left me feeling beyond gorgeous, and absolutely exceeded my expectations. First of all, the atmosphere was so welcoming and calming, which is important because I am most certainly overstimulated as a mom of 3 and a tech professional. Getting my hair down is also a little me time opportunity. Now, let's talk about my shampoo or wash. It was the gentlest wash I have ever had and I am certain I had a lot of tangles and did not feel a thing. My stylist, the owner Beautiful, was so kind, gentle and made sure to be extra careful with my delicate strands. My hair felt respected! I left the wash feeling refreshed, restored, and revitalized. And last but certainly not least, the silk press was just breathtaking. My hair was left sleek, smooth, and bouncy. My hair received top-notch products and techniques to make sure my hair was left looking its best and with no smell or feel of damage… essential as a natural sis, I love my coils and desire to see them again. In conclusion, I highly recommend ESP Salon for anyone looking for a natural hair friendly salon that will give you a gentle shampoo and beautiful silk press. I am so grateful I found Beautiful! After my long time hair stylist moved away I was lost. I tried a couple referrals he sent me but none of them worked out. One of them even burned a piece of my hair off and didn’t even tell me. I have really thick long hair that’s natural and stylist hated dealing with my hair because it took more time and energy. Finally I found Beautiful! She was so patient and listened. My hair has continued to grow and thrive with her. I always get compliments on my hair. I can’t thank her enough!!!

I booked a last-minute appointment because my hair was in utter disarray and needed a good trim. I've haven't straightened my hair in over 10 years and was actually quite nervous about the silk press process, but Beautiful's professionalism and naturally kind demeanor alleviated any reservations I had. The salon is impeccably clean, as she wipes downs and sanitizes her tools and surfaces multiple times during the visit. She is incredibly knowledgable and can effortlessly rattle off amazing Black hair facts. The service was very gentle, I could barely feel any heat she used during the entire process. And above all, my hair looks and feels amazing. Will definitely be booking again!

I booked my appointment in advance, as a first time client, and my experience was top tier. The space is conveniently located from my house. I arrived on time and did not have to wait. My hair was washed and detangled, with no complaints (as professional stylists do). This was the best silk press I have gotten, and I have already received numerous compliments. I have very thick and long hair, and I was not in the salon for the whole day. 10/10 recommend. I will be returning for all my silk presses in the future.

Beautiful is the ONLY person I trust with straightening my hair! It always reverts back to its natural curly state after. I also really enjoy her hair washes, steam treatment, blow dry, and braid down for my protective styles. Extensions Silk Press helps to keep my hair and scalp healthy.

I do not recommend this Salon. My first visit was good, my bill was $532 and I left a tip. Still don’t know what all I paid for. This last visit, my 4th, I was told I had a no show no call. Mind you, you have to pay a deposit to be serviced. I was unaware I had a no show, I ask the beautician to tell me how I paid, she said it’s in the business. Right your business, I pay her directly to her account. So she kept my deposit and tacked on another $100. There’s no policy of $100 anywhere. She said I’m telling you now. I tried to explain to her that keeping the deposit was the penalty. Even after that I was trying to give her the benefit of the doubt, but what solidified never go back there!! she would not finish my hair until I paid her. I’ve never had a problem paying and I tipped everytime. Questioning my integrity!!! Horrible Customer Service. And trying to reason with her is like trying to speak to wall.

I was having a terrible day at first but Beautiful saved my prom night. She was so welcoming and kind and took me at the very last minute. My hair turned out so beautiful and perfect. I got a wash, blow dry, and silk press with clip-ins. She did an absolutely amazing job!!!

This salon is a gem! My stylist Beautiful was very attentive, professional and knowledgable. She's very passionate about her craft. She really gave me a positive outlook on my hair and got me excited about my rejuvenation journey. For the past 4 to 5 years, I've been rocking my natural curls and or braids, not really putting much effort into my hair health at all. I was looking for someone to help me get my hair back to good health, I found just that. I got a silk press and I am very satisfied. I will be returning for sure. I love how she offers more than just a transactional service, she offers a full experience. It was very much appreciated.
