First time coming in, I booked a silk press and trim but when the stylist examined my hair, they refused to do it because my hair was over processed and shedding, which I understood that, and they recommended a deep conditioning treatment, trim and Bob style, which it was way more than I went to spend there given that a silk press and trim was about $70. So, then, I was met with my hair stylist, a young girl and was very friendly, who was assigned to work on my hair but it seemed like she was clearly still in training. Which for some reason, I’m always a target everywhere I book a hair appointment at. I’d prefer someone who knows what they are doing rather than someone in training because I have had bad experiences with trainee’s spending a lot of time on my hair and I’m always spending a lot of money and leaving upset and unsatisfied. The girl who was training the young lady seemed like she knew more and helped her through it, and ended up finishing my hair but she was busy with another client, so she couldn’t do much. The style was cute at the end but it wasn’t what I wanted. Plus, my mom usually does my hair the same way. Had I not been so lazy to take the trip to my moms house, I would’ve saved $135 dollars. I didn’t want to have them to do it over because I had somewhere to be and they said they couldn’t do much to my hair, so I just left it alone, paid the fee and tipped even though I wasn’t satisfied. The same day, I put on a cap to get in the shower and when I got out and took off the shower cap, all the curls fell out and I had to wear a beanie to the event I had planned to go to. I was furious given that I’ve wasted all of that money. What they have done with my hair, I could have either done it at home or got my mom to do it. Other than that, they were very nice and welcoming but I won’t be coming back.

I absolutely loved it here! I got a virgin relaxer & trim by Meagan! She was the sweetest and most welcoming person. She washed my hair so good, felt like she washed my sins away! I felt comfortable during my appointment. I left highly satisfied. 10 out of 10.

My daughter got a silk press for the first time from an employee named Nya and she didn't do that great of a job she burned my daughter's scalp and was blaming it on her hair being thick and she said she needed her ends clipped so I let her clip them but her hair is uneven now. I won't speak for the shop as a whole but I can only review the person who did my daughter's hair and she didn't do a good job.

It’s been a long time since I’ve been to an actual salon where you don’t have to come washed, blow dryed, and detangled. My expectations were exceeded. I got a virgin relaxer, deep condition, and haircut. Megan was the sweetest was gentle and took her time on my head. When I told her how short I wanted my hair each time she cut some hair off she turned me to the mirror to make sure I wanted her to keep going. The shampoo was heavenly and the scalp massage she gave my peanut head was so relaxing! I enjoyed my experience, Megan has a client for a lifetime!

I have been going to meagan for an entire year ! every time she gets me right and is very informative, nice, and takes good care of my hair ! please book with meagan i highly recommend her you won’t be disappointed!! never had a bad experience with her at all!

I normally don't post reviews, but this salon was the far worse experience that I have ever encountered. I booked my appointment at 8:30 am with meagen. Let me start by saying her vibe was very nonchalant, she acted as if she didn't want to do my hair, Although, she was late, I was willing to still let her do my hair, which was completely ugly, nothing compared to what I ask for. She never asked to fix the problem. Ladies, please be aware of the treatment that you will receive if you book at this salon. It seems that the owner says this about all the clients who post their experience that's not to her liking. For a salon to play gospel music, it speaks on your character. Ms. I want my salon to look so good when it's not.I will never go back to that evil salon, so keep playing gospel music to try to cover up the evil spirits.

I had a terrible experience at this salon yesterday, and I will never return. It’s not because the outcome may or may not be good, but because of the way I was treated and the process of doing my hair. The stylist was nearly 30 mins late. I was seen by Erica, and she was so aggressively rough that I am still suffering from the pain in my head over 24 hrs later. The other stylist (whom I believe was the owner) could not effectively communicate with her, and therefore could not clearly explain my needs for gentle and considerate care. I struggled to make it through the appt. It was clear I was in great discomfort, but no one ever interjected to offer help. I just want the next person to be aware that if you need someone you can communicate certain needs with as well as someone sensitive to your scalp, this may not be the stylist for you.

Terica is simply the best! She can do it all (weaves, braids, natural hair, color). So rare to find an All-purpose stylist! She has growing hands too! All my family and friends make appointments with her when they come to town. Run to her chair!!!!

ASK FOR MEGAN!!! She is 🔥🔥🔥🔥. A true stylist who cleansed my scalp, included me on my treatment plan, AND provided information for how to care for my hair type in between services. I will DEFINITELY be rebooking! She is worth it! Thank you

After searching high and low for someone who does silk press for natural hair I have these wonderful group of ladies (via TikTok) although we weren't able to save certain aspects of my hair from previous damages because it was too far gone; my lady was able to offer comfort by listening to me and my concerns and offeringa multitude of alternatives for it (my hair) to grow back in no time. We completed treatments, hydration, cut, and style while having a productive conversation on future care and appointments.

My son got his locs retwisted at the salon. The atmosphere was welcoming , and the stylist who did my sons hair did great. the attention to detail and professionalism were truly impressive. I highly recommend Fabellous Beauty Lounge to anyone looking for top notch service and a great experience.

I drive from Chattanooga to Memphis just to get my hair done at Fabulous Beauty Lounge... That's the review! Seriously though, every stylist there is wonderful at what they do. They are in the business of growing hair. Silk press, braids, clip-ins, sew-ins, twists... they never disappoint. Book at Fabellous Beauty Lounge!

I’ve been in memphis for over a year and i couldn’t find anyone that i would trust with my relaxed hair. I recently found fabellous beauty lounge on tiktok and decided to give them a try! i went to meagan and she did a fantastic job!!! 10/10 recommend! she answered all of my questions i had and was very sweet and gentle with my hair!! i will be back asap !!!!
