I don’t really write product reviews, but I adore Fabio AND his brushes so am making an exception. He has been cutting my hair for years and is an amazing stylist. When he told me about his new brush line, I bought a couple (La Claudia and La Sophia) to be nice, assuming they would just be, well, brushes. As it turns out, I love them! I have very thick hair and often lose a lot to brushing. But that didn’t happen with my two new beauties, which are lovely in addition to being functional. For travel, I was using a broken off part of an old comb, which is pretty sad. When Fabio told me that La Claudia was being offered in a travel size, I think I was the first to buy one. So happy that I can bring my most excellent brush on trips without killing my toiletry kit. Thank you, Fabio!

Had an amazing time at the salon, everybody, starting from the receptionist, was professional, helpful, and upbeat. Rocco did an amazing job with the highlights and I love Fabio's cut! Cannot wait to go back.

I have not gotten a hair cut in a very long time and I wanted to make a big change but was nervous about it. Samantha made me feel so comfortable! She really listened to me and cut/ styled my hair exactly how I wanted! She even gave me some pointers on how to style it at home. She is a true artist! I am so happy with the service! Everyone was so nice and attentive. Highly recommend going here!

My mom & I got blowouts which were totally fine. Overall everyone was really nice & good service. When I booked the service initially it was for 2 of us at the same time & they confirmed a price over the phone of $55/blowout which I felt was really reasonable. Then someone from the salon texted me to see if we’d mind having them back to back instead which I said was okay. When we arrived they had another personal available so we did end up having our services at the same time. When we went to pay it was $167 total which was really surprising given we were anticipating $110. They explained the rates for the individual people were more than $55 & when we asked if they could honor the price we were quoted they said they’d have to check with the manager & would call me back. I spoke again with someone from the front desk & the manager was out & have since been unable to get in touch. Disappointing that the pricing was not transparent which leads me to have to give them a lower review unfortunately.

I went for the first time yesterday for a haircut with Bella and i couldn’t be more happy with it, she envisioned what I had in mind and delivered exactly that. The location and team are very attentive and hospitable. The vibes and espressos are a bonus 🤌🏼

This is the first time I visit Fabio salon, and I must say it was the most outstanding experience experienced in a long time. Fabio himself was there welcoming with sweetness and kindness. Amanda was very accommodating during consultation about all my concerns. You can see she takes pride in her work, she cut my hair with care And then finished it off with a beautiful blow dry. She did a great job cutting my hair. It came out beautiful. I had a very lovely experience and would definitely go back without a doubt.

I had my hair colored today in this salon and when I took the robe off I had stains on the back in my sweater from the color. I was told by the owner, Fabio himself, that they are not responsible for my cloths and that I should have taken my sweater off before putting the robe on. He was very rude to me and dismissive. I've been coming to this place for years paying very high prices for their services. $180 for a single process color, $150 for a haircut. Despite moving out of Brooklyn I continued to come to this salon, driving over an hour to get there. I was treated very poorly today by the owner himself and I won't be back. This place is overpriced and they do not value their customers.

It was my first time getting a service at Fabio Scalia and I must say, it exceeded my expectations! Bella (who works mainly out of their SoHo location)was fantastic! She gave me a very thorough, personalized cut that catered to both my straightened hair and curly hair. She listened to my hair story and goals and applied her techniques to achieve long, soft layers that still retained the length of my hair while giving me movement and volume. I’m naturally very curly and textured, and often times have dehydrated hair that requires special attention and I can say confidently that I trust Bella with my hair. Super happy with my experience here and with Bella. Thank you, Bella! I’ll see you in SoHo soon!

Giulia is a miracle worker!!! I came to her to color correct an unspeakable thing that was done to my hair by a different salon (think chunky, brassy highlights that somehow started halfway my head, plus a patch of random bleached hair in the back- if you’re curious about the before, go to Giulia’s IG), after another friend in the beauty industry recommended her. What can I say, Giulia truly is a master colorist: she went above and beyond not only to color correct using different techniques, but also helped me finding a flattering shade that I would love. She was also very gracious about what she had to deal with, non-judgmental and I felt at ease and comfortable the whole time. She easily gave me the best hair of my life. Thank you so much!

I have been seeing Antonio for a while and always does my hair the exact way I want. I have been jumping more than a dozen salons throughout the city for years as I am very picky when it comes to hair cuts and he has by far been the best by a mile. Leave the salon pleased every visit. Staff is extremely friendly, space is lively and bright, and spotless as well. Highly recommend Fabio Salon, as well as Antonio!

I recently visited Fabio Scalia salon looking to change my hair color from black to red, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Adela, my stylist, provided a thorough consultation, ensuring she understood my desires perfectly. She transformed my hair, giving me exactly the tone of red I had envisioned, while still keeping my hair healthy. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I couldn’t recommend Fabio Scalia salon, and Adela’s expertise, more highly.

As someone who is wary on who touches my hair I decided to take a chance coming here. My friend recommended I come to Antonio, and let me say I have no regrets! Been coming to him for 3 yrs now. He knows exactly what hair mask to use for my hair, to what I'm looking for in a cut. I've gone from long layered cuts to short bobs and it's always turned out phenomenal. My hair tends to retain water which makes it difficult to blow dry, but Antonio has found way to manage it and has even given me tips and tricks to do it on my own. Glad to have come across this gem!

I am so grateful i found this salon. Antonio has saved me from some pretty bad COVID quarantine haircuts/trends. Hes made me feel confident again with my hair and has even taught me how to take care of/ embrace my natural texture. Coming from a girl who used to be terrified of a “trim”, I 10/10 recommend Antonio and Fabio Scalia. Not only do i love my hair but i love the experience every time I'm there.

I went to this salon for the first time , I was recommended by a close friend. I am a very hesitant person due too many bad experiences at other hair salons just for a "haircut". Antonio took care of me, I cannot thank him enough for being a great listener in what I was looking for, and understanding my hair texture. He took his time at his job , which is a Plus!!!! Overall great experience, the whole staff and front desk were extremely welcoming! I will definitely be back!

They cancelled FIFTEEN minutes before my scheduled appointment time of 10:45 AM. I understand my stylist wasn’t feeling well but what a colossal waste of my time. Edit: Looking at the salon’s Instagram and they posted a story of Antonio cutting someone else’s hair same day AFTER they cancelled on me. So rude and inconsiderate.

This salon is my favorite to go to in brooklyn. i’ve been through a lot of salons (i’ve had a split dye for 4 years now) and this is by far the highest quality salon i’ve been to. Kira was extremely sweet and patient with me and of course Fabio’s knowledge and expertise of his craft blows me away everytime. I always walk out feeling brand new. I highly recommend to anyone looking for anything regarding your hair, Fabio Scalia Salon will without a doubt take care of you.
