This place is the real deal. I had the pleasure of having Mirko to color my hair and Nordia to cut it. They are the best of the best. They are very welcoming and detail oriented. They make you feel welcomed from the moment you step into the salon to the moment you walk out. They make sure to know what you want and make it happen. Both Nordia and Mirko are extremely knowledgable and they get what it means to take care of your hair. They are patient with any questions you have and make sure you leave the salon knowing how to take care of your hair moving forward. I walked in having a vague idea of what I wanted, and they steered me in the right direction. Mirko especially was honest about what color would look good for me. And he was 100% right. I can't recommend this place enough !

This has consistently been my favorite salon in NYC. I’ve had haircuts with Fabio, Nordia and Rene – all of them are simply the best. They take the time to understand what you want, execute and make you walk out feeling absolutely amazing every single time.

I have been trying many different salons in Soho area (and not just Soho) and I have to say the best blowout so far is the one I had at Fabio Scalia Salon ( with Teresa ). I went back more then once and hopefully will try other services. Also, very good manners from the entire staff and nice atmosphere overall.

I had an absolutely amazing experience at Fabio Scalia in SoHo right before my wedding! I went in for a hair trim, gloss, and to have my hair extensions fixed, and I couldn’t be more thrilled with the results. My stylist, Teresa, was incredibly detailed and attentive, especially with my extensions. She made them look so natural and seamlessly blended with my hair—it was truly a world-class experience! The entire process was smooth, and the final result far exceeded my expectations. I’ve already received so many compliments on my hair! If you’re looking for top-notch service and stunning results, this salon is a must-visit. Highly, highly recommend!

After four years of being in the city I have found my salon. I’ve had a bob most of my adult life but this past year I decided to grow it out. I booked with Nordia and she gave me the best bob cut I’ve ever had. I’m a Virgo rising so I’m a perfectionist. Usually I have to finish touching up the haircut myself when I get home. I didn’t have to do that this time. She used techniques I’ve never seen anyone use to give me ghost layers to help with how much hair I have so that it grows out perfectly. Not only was the haircut perfection but everyone in this salon is so happy. You can tell it’s a great place to work because the vibe is really positive. And the art is nice too. Oh and the shampoo experience is very comfortable as well. Sometimes that’s where a salon looses me. It this one gets it right. Looking forward to coming back for my color!

Expert is an understatement, Fabio and JC are true artists. My hair looks and feels so amazing that I keep catching myself smiling at nothing on my way home. The blonde JC chose is a beautiful tone that goes nicely with my natural but also gives my skin such a nice glow. Fabio cuts with such precision and skill that my very fine hair finally has shape and life. Beyond the excellence of their craft is the experience of being in the salon which is full of the warmest, most accommodating staff. Beautiful experience, thank you!!!

They provided exceptional service. Fabio is the best and Kiera made my experience. She gave excellent care, effort and attention to everything she was doing. She also was very personable and my time there was 10X more enjoyable because of her. I would recommend them to anyone and will definitely be coming back!

A fantastic experience every single time. I am moving away to Colorado, and sad to have to find a new salon. Every time I go to FS, I know what I'm going to get -- the highest standards in haircare, styling, color, cut, and service. They are so consistent in being excellent. From the ease of scheduling when calling, Jailynn's at the front desk's welcome, and a cappuccino as soon as you sit down, and making sure that you're comfortable (all the chairs and the wash bins are so comfortable). The assistants in the salon are the kindest people, and everyone works so well together as a team, and they look like they enjoy working there. I do my highlights, blowouts, and glosses with Theresa. I've done cuts with Fabio (the owner), Nordia, and Theresa. They are all fantastic, skilled, and best of all, wonderful people who have such integrity to the work they do and their clients. Such precision from start to finish, every. single. time!!!! Will miss you... everyone at FS!

Best haircut of my life! Fabio and the entire staff were treasures. So kind and welcoming. Not only was I provided with a great service, they were also able to educate me on my hair/curl type and how to properly maintain it. It is always such a pleasure to visit this salon. From the minute you enter you are warmly greeted by the lovely staff at the front desk who make you feel welcome. I have been getting my hair colored with Mirko for over a year now, and he is absolutely fantastic. He has amazing taste and a great eye for what suits your hair and personality. I have gone three different shades since I met him and have never been disappointed! I highly recommend him and this salon!

Unfortunately I had one of the worst cuts of my life at this salon. I’m 34, so I know a good cut from a bad one. I’ve worn my hair the same way for years. I asked only for a trim, and I got a completely different hair cut (and it wasn’t even a good cut). I have long hair, and now there is a shaggy layer has high as my chin, and my front “face frame” pieces look more like an asymmetrical long bang (only on one side). I have to pin the hair back as though I am growing out my bangs - not what I asked for. I cried for two days - I’ve never cried so much after a hair cut. I went to two other salons to try and fix it but they said it’s too short to cut now and I need to grow it out for 6months at minimum. I contacted the salon, and nobody has responded to me.
