The few hours my boyfriend and I spent at the Fairmont Spa Austin were some of the best hours of my life! The 50 min bespoke couples massage was incredible. Then we both enjoyed the separate jacuzzi/sauna/steam rooms for a couple hours afterward. I truly felt like a queen and the staff was extremely attentive. I was offered complimentary mango sorbet sitting in a glass of Prosecco… I felt like I died and went to heaven. Do yourself a favor and book yourself a treatment at this spa!!!!

My wife and I had a friend tell us this spa was one of her favorites, so we booked a night for a staycation and some self care. Unfortunately for us, zero appointments for ANY spa services were available, when trying to book more than 5 days in advance. We are staying on Wednesday of Thanksgiving, thinking we'd have more of a chance to book spa treatments during a holiday stay. No appointments at all either Wednesday or Thursday, according to their online booking system. We tried to call and the phone rings and rings, then going to voicemail. Very upsetting, to say the least. We will take our spa business down the street to the JW Marriott, which has a very nice, clean spa, with all the amenities. We will take our recommendation with us, as well. I cannot recommend the Fairmont spa, I'm disappointed to say. I understand being booked I suppose, but getting no response to simply verify this even when calling? Fairmont, you've got to do better.

The Fairmont spa is such an underrated spot in Austin, tucked into the 6th floor of the Fairmont Austin. I had a short massage here and have to give a special shoutout to Bernice who was absolutely incredible. I’ve had back, neck, and shoulder pain all of my life due to a spine problem, and she really knew how to work into those spots and relieve my pain. My partner also enjoyed a massage with Danner. Without exaggeration, we both agreed that it was the best massage we have gotten in our lives. My partner even commented that normally he needs a longer massage for the same relief. We couldn’t recommend it any more! They definitely know what they’re doing.

A top 5 spa experience, luxury amenities including a steam room, hot sauna and whirlpool. Lockers, robes, champagne, a rest/reading area with complimentary tea and snacks for pre and post treatments. A lovely place to bring out of town guest or to celebrate an engagement, have a girls or solo spa day overlooking the downtown ATX skyline. The staff is always friendly, the spa always immaculately clean and the little extras like la labor toiletries and a Dyson dryer are appreciated.

Upon check out today, no one asked about my experience so I figured I would share here instead. On a positive note, the services were great. On the con side, I treated a client and spent a lot of money not to have a better experience. The spa itself is TOO small for the amount of women they service as well as the fact that they had a birthday party pay a day fee and take over the whirlpool area spilling food into the hot tub. Many spa guests were annoyed at their noise level and hovered in the 'quiet room.' It took about an hour for the Manager to calm them down and clean up their mess. The 'quiet room' is anything but as it is the only other area to sit yet there is a lunch table, people walking in/out literally every minute, blow dry area at the door and constant echoing throughout. This was the least relaxing spa I have ever been too. While the staff seemed to work hard, they missed so many little things like hand soap at two of the sinks, the toilet 'seaties' in one stall was empty the entire day...I travel spas often so I notice things that should be in a five star spa. Overall, too many people in an unrelaxing environment and too little value for the price - I would not return.

Was at the fairmont Hotel spa in Austin, Texas today and had a body wrap massage and the experience was awesome. My Massage therapist Giuliana Was absolutely personal and attentive to all my concerns the experience was incredible. I would recommend it to anybody and Priscilla at the front desk was very accommodating. Couldn’t be more friendly and happy to accommodate anything. The place is really nice. It was awesome. Absolutely five stars.

Wonderful hotel. Great rooms. Its massive and i was worried but don't let that put you off. The room is spacious, has everything you need. Pool is stunning and the chicken nuggets at the bar are KILLER. Like, I would want them as a side dish at my wedding killer. Really lovely, even the bedding feels luxurious. Would 100% stay again.

Fabulous spa. Beautiful city views from the jacuzzi, clean and aromatic relaxing lounge, kind and attentive staff, and amazing massage. Also has a steam room and sauna. On par with 5-star hotel spas I’ve been to. ❤️ Will be back!

Recent weekend stay downtown had us returning to our favorite downtown luxury hotel. Highest recommendation to book at the Gold Club level plus schedule time in the Spa Massage center. Collette in massage therapy is a top choice so book early. Great experience again with Fairmont.

I had a wonderful experience with Audra. I got a pedicure and she could not have done a more fantastic job! I haven't gotten my nails done in over a decade so I was a bit nervous but she made sure I was comfortable the entire time. She was lovely to talk to and went above and beyond, recommending certain things I could do to heal my feet and even applied a shea butter she brought herself. The fairmont is lucky to have her

The spa personnel were polite and very professional. The receptionist was just as polite and professional, too. She gave me a quick tour of the amenities and explained everything to me and my wife. Our couples massage was awesome! It was quiet, pleasant, and left us feeling very relaxed. The robes were very soft and luxurious. The men's area was clean, neat, and organized. The snacks and other refreshments were adequate. The waiting room was well appointed, cozy, and relaxing. Especially with the big comfortable chairs and ottoman. Nothing was over the top, bombastic, or overpowering to where it was annoying or bothersome. The spa was really focused on relaxed vibes and tranquility. The 100-minute massage was intense, and the oil I chose was pleasant. I very much liked how my wife and I were asked about which areas we would like our masseuse to focus on. That added a personnel touch, which was very nice. I particularly enjoyed the hand and foot part of my massage. I would definitely recommend this spa to anyone.

Very mixed experience. I just went to the Mokara 3 weeks ago, and I’d definitely go back there before doing the Fairmont again. I had a massage booked for 10 and pulled up to the hotel at 945am. Self-parking was closed, so I was forced into the valet line. Almost an hour later, I finally made it to the end of the line. I learned 5 hours later that there was an accident that caused the backup, and while I understand that wasn’t the hotel’s fault, I would’ve expected a 4 star hotel to either problem-solve better or compensate me for the inconvenience somehow (free fruit plate? wine?). I missed my full original appointment window and the spa moved my appointment to 12, which I was thankful for, but they acted like that WAS what they offered to make up for my experience. Meanwhile, when I booked this on Monday, there were 11 timeslots available lol. I’d taken off work until 1230pm originally, but had to reschedule my meetings to even stay for the new time, and the spa receptionist just told me I was “lucky” to get in at all. Additionally, while the cleaning staff did an incredible job keeping everything tidy/stocked (and she was the sweetest person ever), the mineral pool and showers were pretty dirty, which was pretty gross. The facilities were fine overall, but I expected better for a Fairmont. Oh, also. The pool was also closed due to an event happening that night. The hotel/spa could’ve taken time to call guests to redirect them to find street parking, or given me something for my trouble, or warned me about to pool being closed after I’d booked, and I wouldn’t have written this review.

I was fortunate enough to be gifted a Fairmont Spa Day experience recently, and let me tell you - it was incredible! The sauna/steam room/hot tub area overlooking the city is peaceful, and frankly badass. Enjoyed the mimosas too! I had Collette as a massage therapist, and she was kind, attentive, professional, and thorough. I would highly recommend her services. Additionally, Miguel, the spa attendant, really made the experience 5-stars. his service, attentiveness to detail, responsiveness, and politeness really set the tone for the day. I'd 100% come back again, and will refer others here!

You have to come to the spa and see Ni, I can’t tell you enough how incredible she is! I will fly to Austin just for her, she helped save my feet and is so educated on everything spa. Ni thank you thank you. She is a specialist and worth every single penny. You can also tell the quality of the products they use as well. Ni treats it like an art and love her!

My masseuse, Danner, was absolutely phenomenal, and so were the other people that work here. They made me and my wife feel very welcome and offered some incredible amenities. This place was definitely a high-end spa, but the price was well worth their professionalism and expertise. My wife and I walked away from our massage feeling rejuvenated and glowing, and Danner was even able relieve a lot of pressure in my sinuses with a facial massage. I'll be talking about this place all week, so thank you all for your help.

Our favorite hotel in Austin. And maybe one of my favorite hotels that I have ever stayed at. This hotel is luxurious but not pretentious. The service is a breath of fresh air, what you expect a luxury hotel to feel like! We stayed in a corner room with a soaking tub. Enjoyed the wet bar, comfortable bed, and the spa and restaurants are 10/10 as well. Worth every penny.

Terrible experience with someone who was very inexperienced. I got bruised and they barely cared. They were obtuse and had security investigate this! Go straight to the Four Seasons.
