I've gotten haircuts from olivia before and loved my experiences then, but i feel a little disappointed after today. i made an appointment online to get my roots bleached and toned for february 4th (today) at 11 am, and was hoping olivia could even out some parts of my hair near my roots that were less blonde. she quoted me for $350 because of the difficulty and said it would take longer than expected, but i was not expecting to be there for SEVEN hours :/ for reference i probably had about an inch - inch and a half of regrowth. after washing out the first bleach, she said she would have to bleach my hair a second time which i was fine with, but she stopped in the middle of it to cut other customer's hair so the second bleach was never even finished, but she still washed it out. after washing out the second bleach, she did a test strand for toner on my hair without showing me how it looks beforehand, THEN asked me if i wanted an ashy tone. at this point it had already been like five hours so i just said it was fine but then she asked me if i wanted brown. if i wanted to go brown why would i book an appointment to have my hair bleached???? i also felt like she was making it my problem that my hair wasnt light enough for the tone i chose out of the book she gave me, which made me feel uncomfortable so i started tearing up in the chair.. she bleached my hair for a third time to get the toner out she had previously put in all over my head (again, without saying anything to me) and i nervously asked if i could receive a small discount as i was not expecting to be there for more than the timeslot that i had in my calendar, which was 11-3. she started to guilt trip me and implied that it's my fault i'd been there for seven hours at that point because of the uneven parts in my hair, and that "even though" she did my hair for longer than the allotted time slot, she wasn't going to charge me extra. i could have spoken up but i personally don't think its my responsibility as a repeat client to try and rectify the situation, when the entire time i had been there, she hadn't communicated with me at all :/ and she kept stopping multiple times to cut other people's hair even when they were walk ins! if it was too stressful for her to finish my hair within three hours, i would have been okay with her asking if i could come back another day to finish. after olivia dried my hair and styled it, i did like how it came out even though some parts are still uneven. she ended up giving me a 30% discount and apologized to me, which i appreciate a lot but now i feel uncomfortable coming back here even though i loved the services i received in the past. i did still tip but i may reconsider returning again, which makes me really sad to say :( below is what my hair looked before vs after my appointment

Olivia did a banger job with the haircut and gives her honest opinion when talking over the style you want. If it won't look good she will say so (nicely). Comes with a shampoo session as well and she will give tips on how to style it for the upkeep afterwards. Also well-priced! As a side note if you're not Chinese I occasionally hear the other lady talking smack but regarding the service she seems to treat everyone equally lol.

Eva is the best hair stylist I’ve ever had. I grew up in Taiwan and had always struggled to find a stylist that knows Asian hair well. So glad to find Eva and this salon. I’ve got a Korean style perm and haircuts from here and she always does an amazing job. Highly recommend!

I got my hair done by Olivia and I love my haircut! I just got it cut + thinned and my head feels so much lighter. Olivia is very sweet and did a very thorough head massage. I’ll definitely be returning here!

It was my first time going to this hair salon, and Olivia did not disappoint!! She was attentive to my needs and even gave tips on how to maintain my frizzy hair and style it so that it won't look as frizzy after washing. She also made the environment very welcoming for me as well and was nothing but kind towards me. 10/10 would book an appointment here again!!

Olivia did such a great job cutting my hair. The hair wash was relaxing, and they always do a great job with adding the layers exactly how I had wanted. She also gave some helpful styling tips and the workers there are always super nice. Definitely would recommend!

Olivia helped me with my haircut! She listened to my asks (e.g. make head look smaller, etc) and helped design my haircut based on my hair quality and face shape ✨ She also shared tips on how to take care of curly hair and how to so styles!! She is a really friendly and professional hair dresser!!

Overall, I'm very satisfied. My hair came out great, and I feel good about the cut and styling. The stylists made suggestions that I found clever and helpful, and we arrived at a hair cut I can be proud of. There were some communication barrier problems. After finding a picture that matched the hair style I wanted, the stylist was able to take it from there. I suggest coming in prepared with a picture of yourself with the haircut you want, from the front and back. I'll be preparing that next time I go in for a hair cut, here or elsewhere. My biggest complaint is that the process took a very long time. Part of this was natural waiting for bleach and such, but a lot of it was because of the really small-staffed tight-ship that they're running. There was a lot of things each staff member had to manage, so I spent a while waiting between actions. It was worth the wait, and I'll probably come back here again for another hair cut!

Such a gem- cannot recommend this place enough!! Both Eva and Olivia are incredible, they are very skilled, efficient and caring. The value of the service they provide can’t be beat! They’ve given me great hair care and styling advice, as well as been kind enough to fit me in as a walk in. This place does get busy (for good reason) though, so I would recommend making an appointment in advance!

I have had really good experiences at this hair salon for my haircuts so far, Olivia is a great hair stylist! The price is also really fair. I have a middle part and also thick/stiff Asian hair but she does a really good job with getting it to the shape/length I want for my haircuts. Highly recommend 👍🏼

Quick and refreshing, having haircuts at the Falali Hair Salon is a great experience. Very chill atmosphere, and Olivia, who did my haircut, was very kind and did a great job. She was very careful and considerate when cutting my bangs, so if you're like me where you're really big about your bangs, I would very much recommend getting a hair cut here.

This was my second time going to Olivia at Falali Hair Salon. She is amazing! She really takes her time, she doesn’t rush, and she has a great attention to detail. She thoroughly shampoos the hair and is very gentle, and pays attention to sensitive ear piercings. They are very transparent with pricing and booking online is easy. The salon is easy to find, but it is small and very no-frills - this is not a luxury salon by any means but the quality of the care/cut at the price is a fantastic value. They take card with a 3% surcharge so be prepared with cash. Highly recommend for East Asian hair and non-Asian hair alike! Be sure to pay for your street parking!

Super, super happy with the haircut and service from Olivia at Falali Hair Salon. I got a men's short hair cut. She washed my hair really thoroughly before styling it according to a photo I showed her. My hair looks great and it was HALF the price of the fancy barbershops and salons that I've been to in Seattle. Will definitely be coming back regularly. Can't beat the service and price!

100% recommend booking with Olivia. Not only is she kind and nice, but is efficient and pays attention to detail. I showed her a reference picture of the cut that I wanted, and she gave me exactly what was pictured. If you have straight/ Asian hair and want an alternative style haircut, go to her! Also great price for shampoo/conditioner + cut + styling!
