I WOULDN’T recommend this place AT ALL My friend got bad tight braids and then unnecessarily over charged her. Had to come from work to resolve the situation and they were rude to my friend and I as well.

I arrived to get faux locs done. The two ladies waited until after we had gotten started to tell me the price, a hefty $280. This is especially ridiculous considered I washed and blow dried my hair myself. Six hours later when we finished, I whip out my card to pay. The women look at each other and tell me that they only accept cash, and that the total would be $300 because I used 4 packs of their hair. $300 when they didn't even wash or blow dry my hair! Why would you not tell your clients that you only accept cash upfront? Why wait until 6 hours later when the process is finished. One of the women walks me to a corner store so I can withdraw money and use the bathroom. For some reason, the transaction wouldn't process. I'm from the east coast and at this point, my bank is closed so I can't even call them to see what is going on. I explain this to her, and she quickly gets angry with me. We walk to a grocery store to try their ATM and use the bathroom(there was no bathroom in the corner store) and at this point I really have to pee to as soon as we get to the grocery store, I ask for the bathroom. The bathroom is occupied so I wait outside. Meanwhile, the one woman calls the other to come to the grocery store. From this point, the women begin harassing me asking me why I came if I didn't have money, telling me I'm not going anywhere until they get paid. Mind you, I've explained to them the situation and they're still being incredibly rude and not understanding. They ask if I can call someone to bring the money, and at this point I'm in tears so I call my friend and she says she's on the way. I tell them this, and as I try to go to the bathroom, the one woman stops me and tells me to give her my credit card. What the hell? No! I have tears coming down my face, I'm trying to tell my friend the address of the shop, I need to use the bathroom, and I'm not giving a complete stranger my credit card, especially after the harassment. I come out of the bathroom and they tell me to talk to their brother who is on the phone, who is equally condescending. Finally, my friends come with cash, so we head back to shop. On the way back, I get cat called and hollered at by grown men. My friends arrive and THEN the women tell us that they also accept SquareCash and that they could've taken my card via a tool they have on their iPad. In short, these women harassed me to the point of tears, had me walk up and down the street, and interrupt my friends and have them come all the way to the shop when they could have accepted other forms of payment the entire time!!!! On Sunday, I returned to the shop and the owner of the shop refused to give even a partial refund. And if that's not enough, the braided my hair entirely too tight. I ended up taking out 15% of the braids on Sunday night because my scalp was swollen, itchy, and irritated. Easily the WORST experience I've ever had getting my hair done!!!

I brought my Neice to get her hair braided. (Lemonade Braids). We both are pleased and satisfied! The braids are neat and consistent. Ms Deguene was nice and she is Quick. I made an appointment for myself in two weeks.. I will definitely refer this braiding salon. :)

This was my first time going to Fallous Hair Braiding yesterday & I got individual braids . I absolutely LOVE my hair the owner is soooo sweet and she makes sure the customers are okay! Definately recommend for styling and great customer service !!!!

Very dissapointing ,PLEASE READ BEFORE GOING HERE... Let me start by saying what all happened during my visit, First off when I walked in I was not greeted. The woman that was suppose to do my hair was 45 minutes late. While she was doing my hair she stopped to eat !!! An entire meal!! That lasted an extra 15 minutes. She was on her phone half of the time not even trying to finish my hair at a decent time. But that's not the worse part, the lady STOPPED doing my hair completely to do another clients hair!! Which took another 20 minutes!!!! Then she started back and stopped again to change through the channel and turn her security cameras on! NOW need I remind you I came at 1 pm.. I have both sides and the back of my hair SHAVED, so all she had to do was the top ! THATS IT. so now guess what time it is..... 6 pm! She stillllll isn't nowhere near finished so I finally told her to stop and that I would come back tomorrow to get it finished. I payed her 100 dollars and I told her I would pay the rest tomorrow when she finish my hair, she argued with me and harassed me in front of everyone like I wasnt gonna pay her , MIND YOU she didn't even finish it!!!! And to top it off she did my plaits toooooo small and so TIGHT iwas hospitalized . I had 3 anxiety attacks!!!! I'm just now getting out of the hospital!!! My entire mother's day was completely ruined!!!!!!!!!!!

Fallou Hair Braiding is the only place I go to get my beautiful hairstyles. Deguene always makes herself available for me even when I call her with little notice. Her shop is clean and the atmosphere is comfortable and friendly. I would recommend this hair braiding establishment to anyone looking to get a style they actually want. The prices are very affordable. Go and see Deguene!
