Fame is absolutely phenomenal! From the moment I met her, I could tell she genuinely cares about her clients. I was nervous and anxious about getting my micro locs, but Fame was incredibly patient, answering all of my questions with kindness and professionalism. She made herself available to me through both Instagram and text, which made me feel comfortable and supported throughout the entire process. When it came to installing my micro locs, she executed them exactly how I had envisioned—perfectly! I am beyond pleased with the results and highly recommend her services to anyone looking for top-notch loc care. You won’t be disappointed!

Holy moly! I’ve never been in and out of any chair so fast! From start to finish on my microlocs, the retightening appt took 1 hour and 12 minutes !!!!! She even added a cute barrel style to finish it off, which only took another 10 minutes. As someone who HATES her time wasted and abhors extremely long appointments where the stylist is distracted often, that was not the case here! In and out, fantastic results and I’ll definitely be coming back. This was my first appointment with her and I’ll definitely be back !

Miss Fame is so nice, funny, and welcoming. She made the whole experience very comfortable from start to finish. The thing that really blew me away was how fast she worked. She retied my 230 locs in only 38 minutes, which is crazy compared to the 3-4 hours I have been used to sitting through with a previous loctician. Even though she was quick, the quality is perfect. My hair looks great and I’m really happy with it. She is definitely a pro at her job. Everything was a 10 out of 10. Great music, great conversation, and an overall great first experience. If you’re thinking about booking with her, you should definitely do it. I will be back to Fame’s World of beauty for my next retie for sure :)

As much as I wanted locs, I was still nervous but she definitely takes that nervousness away. She’s straightforward and definitely wants to help you succeed in your loc journey. As of today, I’m TWO DAYS LOC’D in and I’m loving it. Definitely will be back for my maintenance

FIRST TIME CLIENT! Moved to Raleigh and was in need of a protective hair style for the summer. I went to Google to look up hairstylists in the area and ended up on Fame’s site—I’m so glad that I did!! Fame is a rare gem because her booking website was concise and user-friendly, she responded back swiftly if I had any questions or concerns, and she started the appointment promptly on time. She provided wonderful service and made sure I was comfortable during the entire appointment. PLUS my locs came out looking and feeling AMAZING!! She is definitely as “10 out of 10 would tell a friend”—AND I DID.

I went elsewhere to get my locs combined and it was totally BOTCHED! My locs mean everything to me so I was devastated!! I came across Fame, had a consultation and she made me feel so at ease by reassuring me time and time again that I was in good hands, even after I learned that my hair was even worse off than I originally thought. It is not often that you meet someone like Fame. She provides quality customer service and she is so passionate about what she does. She really takes care of her clients and makes you feel like you are a part of her family. My hair looks absolutely amazing and I have received so many compliments. I will be going back to Fame for hair needs, as well as the other services she provides (she does everything). 10/10, highly recommend.
