When i get hair weave twice a year, I get my hair cut by Christy who offers exceptional service and compliments. She has an eye for what she does. In addition, I have fine natural hair that gets cut by Christy as well. I used to get it flatiron but since my hair is so fine, I lose my natural curls so I only go for a cut/trim nowadays.

I'm glad I found this place. I'm a person with curly hair and it's hard to find someone who can cut my hair. Julie is awesome and does a terrific job.

Terrible haircut for my girl. The young lady didn’t really know how to do with thick hair. I told her to cut shorter but she did way too short and not cutting layer at all. The hairstyle so bad. So disappointment…

Been coming here for years, back when Trina was here.So today I go in to get Koryn(Koko) hello hair shampoo, trim and flatiron I requested Julie. The waiting room is packed with people 7 out of the 9 people in the waiting room were black. Julie came to the front to check the books and asked who was Koryn I said me and my baby today. She asked what is she getting? I replied a shampoo, trim and flatiron and Christy the one who sits right by the booth yelled we don’t do that. I said do what, she said natural hair!! At this point I immediately was upset. Maam what do you mean you don’t do natural hair. I’ve been coming here for years and my hair is natural, Julie then tried to correct it saying well her hair is thick and her texture is different. I said yeah because she’s black and I’m very offended for one because I’m a black woman who has patronized your business for years and because my daughter’s hair texture is different you discriminate. I will make it my business to shed light on how you sit in our community and make money off our people but say you don’t do natural hair. Alright!! She didn’t know I was a social justice advocate!! I’ve never said keep your money black until today. I will not be coming back here ever

I’m not one to ever write reviews but our most recent visit here left us in utter shock and disappointment. Not our first rodeo here but definitely our last. We made the mistake of not requesting the mom and daughter duo, Christy and Julie. Ended up with the other lady there. Instead of focusing on the client in her chair, she proceeded to be over excitedly immersed in chit chatting with her pal that came in. I’d get if she was conversing with her coworkers or her next appointment but no, this was the not case at all. Because she was inattentive and actively talking to her pal with a razor in her hands, not only did she nicked my bf’s scalp but she also gave him a bald spot. She didn’t bother to address it. She acted as if nothing had happened. We didn’t get a chance to speak up because everything happened so quick. It was a rushed job. The damage had been done. The haircut was over just like that. Looked nothing like the photo reference. Choppy, uneven, I could go on. Left in total disbelief. Worst experience ever. Took our Ls, Lesson Learned.

Amy was very rude with me, 0/10 experience She told me she would do my hair this one time but she doesn’t do natural hair, the way i was treated i would have rather her to tell me she couldn’t do it. Was very rough with my head, didn’t well communicate with me, overcharged me and rushed me out her Chair. WILL NEVER RETURN

I went in as a walk in just for a trim and nothing more. The young lady at front desk asked for me to sign in and I did. I went early 9am to avoid the crowd. There was a few people already there. Never once was I told that the stylist were all already booked with appts for the day. I'm sitting there waiting. One of the stylist squeezed another person in bc her client asked to do her curls, ok cool. Another stylist squeezed in a an eyebrow wax alright cool, here I am waiting for an hr now, as I see the people before me starting to leave I'm like OK shouldn't be much longer. The 3rd stylist squeezed another person in, at that point im like ummm OK and they were squeezed in bc I asked and one said it out loud. So I asked one of them how much longer. This woman said she couldn't tell me bc they were all booked for the day but u have time to squeeze people in as well. The Front desk person didn't say anything and if they do not have room to take walk-ins why make them sign in. Almost 2 hrs for a simple trim, I just left.... wasted time

I was able to walk in as a NEW customer on a Wed @ 4:30 and Christy took me right in. I chose a dry trim. She was professional and efficient. I LOVE my trimmed look!

I just had my hair cut by Julie. Fantastic experience! She listened to my preferences and played in my hair to design the perfect cut for me. I was nervous about finding a decent salon in BR. I'm definitely going back! Easy going and welcoming.

I have been coming here for over 20 years now, since I was a high school student. Christy or Amy have cut my hair the whole time, stick with those two and you will be fine. I love this place!

Very professional and very clean! My friend referred Kristy to me. Her hair color is beautiful and she has been going to Kristy for over 20 years. I showed her picture of what I wanted and she did an excellent job!
