It only took her 5 mins to cut my hair. Only focused on one side that’s why my sides are uneven and it looks horrible. The same lady did a good job before but she messed up my hair today and now I gotta get another haircut somewhere else tomorrow.

So bad.. I went in there to get a quick haircut - from fairly long hair to shoulder length. They saw me very quickly which was nice but that was the only nice thing. I sat down and the lady told me to take off my glasses, first 🚩(I can’t see anything without my glasses) I asked her for short hair, no layers. She was like “like a bob cut?” “Kinda of..” She cut my hair shoulder length and asked if it was okay and actually was…but then… She kept going, she kept cutting it short. Trying to make it all even?? And whipped out a buzzer to shave my neck?? I knew it was bad, I was just hoping it would be over soon. And it was. Like literally 20min for a haircut. She gave me the mirror to to check the back and oh lawd, I looked like Johnny Deeps Willy Wonka. Got out of there as soon as I could. I couldn’t stand it and ended up shaving my head - AT MY OWN HOME. We couldn’t save it…there were so many layers and a chunk missing on the back of my head from the buzzer. Hair grows back yeah but what the heck made her think that cut looked good on me?? I have a round face and she made me look like a bloated Willy Wonka.

Service was great and fast. They cleaned up my fade really well. The prices have gone up since the most recent picture of the services was taken (15$ for an adult cut, now 20$). I've gone and uploaded my own photo.

I’m pretty happy about my hair cut experience at Fancy Salon. This shop has been here for 30 years. The staffs here are friendly and professional. My barber is Don, he is very nice and I like his skills. And I’m very satisfied with my new hair. I would recommend my friends come to try.

Bad customer service, was originally going to get my hair cut there, made an appointment with Don on Tuesday, and the owner or the guy that works at the register, told me that Don is coming tomorrow at Wednesday. Dishonesty and so random, probably not coming here again, they just want money.

Super friendly haircut place. Started coming here a few months ago and not looking back. Prices are reasonable and men’s haircut is cheaper than the one I used to go. Friendly tip: Try the Vietnamese sandwich next door. They are super yummy.

They cannot cut mens hair. I have had two hair cuts, neither one was done well. They do not know how to layer mens hair or cut it even on both sides.

This salon is affordable and yields great results! I have gone here a few times for a Balayage and cut and have loved it! Shoutout to Trina who did my hair today. The staff is friendly and it's a great opportunity to pamper yourself. I am very impressed and would recommend it to any of my friends.

KEVIN at Fancy Salon .IS..THE... BEST! 🙌 hands down! I have been doing my hair w Kevin for over 14 years! I show him a picture of what I want and he gets it done! I wouldn't trust anyone else w my hair EVER! He is quick but very meticulous w his craft!!! When people compliment my locks, I always refer them to Kevin and always will!! He is a fantastic colorist, stylist and person! He always has a great attitude and knowledge of how to maintain a healthy head of colored hair😄👩💇‍♀️

This location is my go to spot when in San Diego. I've tried multiple barbers here and the best one is Kevin. He's a busy person so you have to make an appointment. He pays attention to detail, super friendly, and is quick. He pays attention to the "corners" of the back of the head and gets a very clean shave at the back of the neck and the corners of the lower neck. I highly recommend him. FYI: digital payment is accepted.
