Gave them a reference pic and everything, I said I wanted side bangs and a trim plus thin out but she gave me side bangs and the rest of my hair cut so short, doesn’t look like reference picture at all and one side is longer than the other

I’ve never had such a TERRIBLE experience at a Chinese hair salon before. Regret not checking reviews before randomly walking in so if you’re thinking of coming here, DON’T. Right when I sat down, she kept trying to sell me other services like hair treatments or dyeing my hair. Even though I rejected it the first few times, she continued asking me!! I have medium to long hair and wanted layers but she gave me some choppy looking haircut. Also, hair and soap kept falling onto my clothes during the haircut/ hair wash process because she didn’t provide me something to cover myself with?? It felt like she was rushing everything even though it wasn’t busy. She probably only spent like 10 mins on my haircut

my experience there was awful... the hairdresser pulled my hair so painful. I was suffering the whole process. And there was hard sell. the cashier had a really bad attitude when I turned down her hard sell. I didn't hear she charge others tips but she charged me. not sure if this is revenge for not accepting hard sell or not. will definitely not go there again.

I stopped by this hair salon for a quick trim before the Lunar New Year. I have medium length hair that’s 3-4 inches past my shoulders. The entire time I sat in the chair, the hair stylist kept telling me my hair was dry and it needed an oil treatment (which she pushing me to do for $70 but I kept declining). I told her I wanted curtain bangs; not too short so it framed my face and to cut only 2 inches in length. She ended up cutting past shoulder length and made my bangs above my eyebrows…

Need an excellent haircut on the cheap? If yes, then this hole-in-the-wall is the place for you. Speak Chinese...even better! I don't speak it, but my hairdresser is awesome...just let her take the wheel to shampoo, cut and style. I have been here before and it turns out great.

my mom likes this place because she has a simple straight cut but it’s the absolute worst for long layers. My hair came out choppy and uneven with 4 inch difference in layers even though I had asked for 2 inch trim :(

Literally the worst service I ever had. The stylist got hair all over my clothes and didn’t even try to offer a napkin so I can wipe the hair off my face. The whole time she was rough and in a hurry to get this over with, even though there weren’t many(if any) people waiting in line.

This place does efficient, neat, haircuts - I've been coming here for years. They also let you lie back in a seat and do a soothing headwash with water and soap, too, making for a great experience. It helps to know Mandarin, or show a picture of what you'd like. I most commonly see Asian folks here getting haircuts.

I am a regular customer here. Very nice haircut for a low price. The guy is very consistently good. But it did take several times for them to remember the exactly haircut I want. Now each time I go there, I can count on a good haircut.

Okay so I never give reviews but I've got to give this place props. I've been searching for a cheap place to get a good cut since moving to NY. I would never drop $80 on a women's cut. I was walking by this place and thought, might as well give it a chance. $15 for a woman's cut. Wash, Cut, Blow Dry. I walked out with such a fresh cut and my hair silky smooth! Wish I had more cash to give a better tip, but will definitely be returning. Thank you!

Fang is the best! Speaks roughly no English so you have to trust her judgment but gives an efficient and cheap cut! She also plays a Japanese love film for your enjoyment with subtitles (in Chinese). Highly recommend!
