Had a diy bang mistake and came in to correct it, Courtney was my stylist, she was very kind a patient with my tangled hair and even blow dried for free at the end to see the end result. Very good service and I feel beautiful! Will come again very greatful :)

I was going to the location at New braunfels and nacodoches and loved the layers i had but my stylist was no longer there. So I made an appt with Miriam at this location for a conditioning treatment and a haircut. I specifically said just follow what I have please long with a two inches off. What I got was extremely disconnected layers and ended up with these little rat tail curls at the bottom. Normally I can just wash my hair and defuse but now I will have to either cut my extremely curly hair even shorter or wait for these awful layers to start growing out.

Updating my review because year after year, this location at Arbor Park, stays consistent! Super Clean, Beautiful Salon, must make an appointment. The hair stylist does it all and they do their best work! Miriam is the Manager, and Courtney is the Assistant Manager, they truly care about each customer that walks in and strives to maintain a 5 Star salon. Miriam has also been my Hair Stylist for over 5 years. Every customer will feel very welcomed! It is BETTER to make an appointment by phone to prevent hiccups, this location gets very busy, no long waits if you make an appointment, I schedule with Miriam after each visit. TOP NOTCH salon. Really. The expertise at this location will keep you coming back. If you are looking for a salon, come to this location. You will be glad that you did! PRICES are better than you expect, true experts at this location. The owner of this location, Stacey, takes PRIDE of her salon. When you walk in, you will know what I mean.

Miriam the Salon Manager is the best. I have long, thick and heavy hair so it’s a challenge to find someone to work with my hair effectively. She’s also an above and beyond professional, knowledgeable and has been doing my hair for many years. I highly recommend her!

My two teen boys are very picky about their hair cuts. We have tried various stylists and barbers. They have both been coming to Courtney for over a year now and always leave pleased with their cuts. She is the only one they will now allow to cut their hair. Courtney has saved me from the drama that follows bad cuts and me reassuring them it will grow out soon. 😂

Damon did a great cut and made suggestions that were really helpful. I took off 1/2 ins and wanted a plain straight cut with no layering and he delivered. Offered suggestions for my bangs that just won't grow out and it looks amazing

I have been going to fantastic sams for around 2 ish years, and I'm so glad I picked this location because these ladies saved my life. Today I foolishly overworked myself to the point of overheating right before my 4pm hair appointment. As I parked in their lot, I began vomiting bile into the streets. As I called out, these ladies moved heaven and earth to get EMS to their location as I lay halfway out of my car about to pass-out from dehydration. Miriam went into full caretaker mode and helped keep me cool with damp cloths and an electrolyte drink until EMS arrived. I will be forever grateful to Miriam and all the employees there that day. I have no idea what would have happened to me if not for their quick action. All I can say is that these ladies truly go above and beyond in terms of customer services, and they proved that they truly will provide for their clients, in any and every way possible. Ps. Their skill in styling is also amazing.

This is not about a haircut, but rather a medical emergency my wife suffered on the way to the haircut. She held together long enough to park in front of the salon (where she'd planned to get a haircut before subsequent events interrupted that plan), and called the salon to ask for help. She also called me, but by the time I was there the ladies inside (Miriam and others) had given her water and place cooling towels on her, in addition to calling 911. EMS got there and took my wife's vitals, and ultimately pronounced her overheated but otherwise out of the woods, and that I should keep an eye out for any negative changes. I just wanted to say thank you to Miriam and her crew for being such caring and helpful people. As soon as my wife has another day off, she'll probably be by to actually get that haircut.

this is the first place I’ve been to that the stylist so aggressively handled & combed my hair to the point where it physically hurt. One of the worst haircut experiences I’ve ever had.

Miriam was amazing. I've never felt so good about my hair both at the beginning and end of the appointment. She taught me about my double cow lick and how to style it. Turns out it's not a bald spot 😂

Mistakes happen but losing your temper and refusing to come up with solutions is unacceptable. My mom went to get hair color brown, she selected the color at salon, after failing to match it TWO times she had to stop (she’s older and was tired). They said to come back the next day for correction but she had to pay NOW even if the color was completely off. I wasn’t comfortable with that so I tried to offer pay 1/2 now and rest when completed. BUT she didn’t let me speak, just SCREAMED over me and said to never to come back, I wasn’t planing on it!

This place has been my go to salon for about 3 years! I get balayage service fine by Miriam and she slays it every time! I always get so many compliments on my hair! Next time you need highlights or balayage book and appointment with Miriam and you won’t be disappointed!

Claudia is a wizard! This Fantastic Sams is by far the best one I’ve ever been to and Claudia is a phenomenal hair stylist. I would highly recommend anyone in the area, or even out of the area, to come here when looking for a quality hair cut and color. This is the place to go! I live on the East side of SA and I gladly drive the distance just to get it done here.

I had a concert to go to on March 2nd Saturday night and I need a hair color and a style. It took 2 hours but the results were awesome my hairstyle lasted for 2 days. And it was styled and colored by Courtney who I always go to and always does an amazing job on my hair I highly recommend her. I've been going to her for my hair color, my haircut , and style for the past 2 years never once haves she let me down. After the concert we went dancing and my hair looked fabulous all night. We have been going to Patty for 8 years now. She is SO professional and always does an excellent job! My husband has been extremely pleased with his military cut and I absolutely love my hair color.
