Loved the girl who colored my hair and I like the colors. However, I asked for layers too (not a cut) and somehow wound up with a much shorter cut. Willing to try again, but more frustrated than loving it.

Naz was amazing, hadn’t had a haircut in over two years, and felt brand new walking out. She was so patient brushing out my horribly tangled hair, and offered style recommendations (face framers over long layers since my hair is so thin). Great experience!

Derek is fantastic! He listens to you, gives good suggestions and is always on time. I’d you have wavy or difficult to style hair in particular, he is an excellent choice.

I’m from Texas. My daughter and her husband are both stationed here in San Diego. I started going with Amanda when I came to stay with my daughter and Amanda was at a different location. I have followed Amanda to every salon she has moved to. When I know I’m coming to San Diego I make it a point to get my haircut with her. My daughter recently came to Amanda for a hair color and lives the job she did. I highly recommend her.

I have been going to Amanda at Genesee Fantastic Sam's for several years now. She is excellent, knows her profession! In addition she is very sweet and pleasant person! I look forward to seeing her, she helps in covering my greys. I always feel so much better after seeing her for my hair. I highly recommend Amanda.(I actually have a Fantastic Sam's closer to where to live but gladly drive further to have her "handle" my hair.) Amanda listens to what's you say and request. Very important to me, is the fact i feel very comfortable in seeing Amanda for my hair needs. She has done excellent job in cutting my hair also. She had many years of experience. Thank you, Amanda!

Great cut by Naz today! She was very welcoming, attentive, and quick to get me looking smart again! Special mention to the receptionist that was able to get me in between other appointments. Great place, great service!

I had a bad haircut before and I just asked to even it out with a trim. The hairstylist reassured me that she could fix it. Cool, she seemed to know what she was doing. Then when I looked she added a layer with a four inch difference to the bottom one. It looks worse than before. It’s going to take even longer to grow back and fix it. Just be weary! I have two stars just for the chance of miscommunication, and because the cut doesn’t look terrible just a complete different direction than I wanted.

Liz is so amazing. She was wonderful looking at pictures of my hair I liked. It turned out the picture we took is way more amazing than I imagined. I will definitely be back. Of course chatting and have fun while she did my hair... washed which was so relaxing. As merrick as she is it couldn't have turned out not perfect.
