Bee Ridge location. My mom had her hair cut. Stylist used clippers on the back of her head. They were either dirty or too hot. Almost immediately my mom ended up with severe cellulitis and shingles. She endured a four day hospital stay. Do not recommend.

My mom and I stopped in Saturday to get our hair cut. Michelle started my haircut and did an excellent job. My hair is straight and cut even so everybody thinks it's easy. But it's difficult to do that very well. She also had an amazing personality. My mom sat down with a different stylist. Now my mom is extremely nice and doesn't like confrontation but I could tell she was uncomfortable with the young lady working with her. I didn't want to cause any problems but I went to the front and asked if it would be possible for Michelle to cut my mom's hair as well. The young lady in the front as well as Michelle jumped in got my mom resituated. I felt like I was going to cause a problem but nobody acted like it was a big deal and my mom was much happier. The best part is both of our haircuts came out amazing. 10 out of10 haircuts! 10 out of 10 customer service!

My name is Liane Salerno and Irene was my stylist and colorist last week. I’m absolutely elated that I found her again after 30 years. What a beautiful job she did on my highlights and the best cut. I’ve had probably since the last time she cut it 30 years ago Great job Irene love you girl!

Hunter did such an amazing job!! I love my new hair. She did a great job listening to me and taking my hair concerns into consideration. I really felt like she cared about me and my hair, and she gave me exactly what I wanted. I'm so happy

Been here before and it was fine. Came in today, lady behind counter was on the phone for at least 10 minutes. Was about to walk out when another girl came up. Was told there are no openings (just needed a simple mens cut) which to me was incredibly odd, since I saw at least 3 stylists not doing anything and only 1 person actually getting her hair cut. When you don't immediately acknowledge a potential customer and you blatantly lie about having no openings (even a lady checking out next to me mentioned her stylist was available) that's just poor training and bad business.

I debated long and hard about even writing a review. I went today to get my hair cut for the first time in a year and a half. Hunter was the one who cut my hair. Hands down, it's the worst haircut I have ever had. I asked for an angled bob. What I got is a bob, wayyyy shorter than I wanted. It looks terrible. The layering is non existent. No shape to it. Girl has me lookin like Johnny Depp from Willy Wonka. I will say, the compassion I received after was top notch. I didn't have to pay for the cut and they offered to try to fix it, but it's already so short I didn't want to push my luck. I really wish it had turned out better. But that's just not how the cards fell.

I usually have my own hair stylist that I go to but the last time she messed my hair up on a spur of the moment I went to fantastic sams . The experience was great.Shirin did my hair. I've had so many compliments on it and she was very good. I will be going back

I was in today for appointment I had@130. I was 10 min early. Apparently, the manager, Abbi ,canceled it and didn’t bother to tell anyone. ( everyone there knows I have MS and need afternoons). The mgr. Abbi, wasn’t even working. So. The girl behind counter was calling her and it got worked out she said. So. I was making appointment for next day as mgr storms in and starts bellowing to me that she canceled me over some rift she had with me about scheduling online and says I blocked her.This is being heard by everyone in salon and to me is unprofessional. At this point , I canceled my appointment for next day.To recap, she lost at least 2 days of business becuz her customer service skills were lacking. I should probably add that I haven’t been here in couple months at least and since had my number changed (for business reasons) And that the manager raced over ( she was out of breath) just to yell at me. How could anyone want to come back to that??

Chelsey B. did an amazing job with my hair. I came in for a “trim” but I what I needed was a conditioning treatment, highlights and an amazing cut. She’s an artist for sure!! She was quick to come up with an amazing vision and executed it perfectly. I would 10/10 recommend. A true professional yet kind and personable. We had some laughs and she made me beautiful!! All around not a good experience. I am in Florida on vacation and decided last minute to get a new hair-do. I called to ask about pricing and availability and was told a color starts out at $60 and a cut for $20, so I figured that’s not bad and scheduled an appointment. I went in with a picture of what I wanted for color. I wanted a full ice blonde balayage. My hair is JUST passed my ears, very short. I had to tell her 4 times that I wanted a balayage. She started cutting my hair and then quoted me for $160! And if I wanted my hair styled she said it would be another $35. I thought that was insane but I went with the $160. My hair wasn’t taking to the bleach so I asked what volume developer she was using and she said 20. My hair is thick, dark brown, and resistant to lift. I told her my hair needed 30 developer. She proceeded to use 20 and put me under the heat. After awhile of sitting there and my hair wasn’t lifting right, she came over with 30 developer and went over the top of my head with that. Finally after I was finished I paid and left (with half wet, unstyled hair) after getting back to my rental and styling my hair I realized my haircut is very uneven. And I ended up with highlights, not a balayage. I am not pleased that I wasted 2 hours of my vacation to end up with uneven hair that isn’t even the color style I asked for. Not impressed at all and I honestly should have fought paying the full price. This is the most I have ever paid for my hair to be done and the most unhappy I have been with my results. The photos below are what I asked for (for color) and what I got. Not even close.

I came in a little after a hour before closing. When I came Chelsey (The best hairdresser 🤩) was an already with a client. I was about to reschedule, but I went over to talk to her. She said she could take some quickly to give me a fresh look. I look so much better I recommend coming here and be with Chelsey. I love it!

I got a bad feeling about the way I was treated. Two things stood out. Just had an OK haircut. My hair is one length, so not that hard. My hair was cut dry. I thought shampooing was part of the service. The stylist said she didn’t ask me about shampooing, because most people don’t want to pay for the blowout or leave with wet hair. Two customers who came in while I was there got shampooed. One who was sitting next to me wasn’t given a choice, the stylist didn’t just did it. Secondly, after I paid it occurred to me I didn’t get the senior discount. When I asked about it the cashier said that she didn’t want to make any assumptions….about my age, I guess. Really! I’m in my 70’s and am completely gray. She said to remind her next time and she’ll take care of it. Not going to be a next time. It’s not about the money; it’s about the way you treat your customers.

I have been going to Fantastic Sam’s for a few years now and they never disappoint. Today I got a hair cut with layers from my amazing stylist Amie and it looks so good as usual! She does amazing haircuts and blowouts. I would highly recommend her.

Went in with hair past my shoulders asked for right above the shoulders longer in the back a lil shorter in the front cause i said one of there techs was being rough brushing my hair i asked for a different stylists she cut all my hair off Barley to my ears not even at all i trired to tell her it wasn't even she just kept cutting more and more had to leave and pay a neither shop 70 bucks to try and fix will be more than happy to give u there info and can verify it was a unprofessional cut
