I love BeBe one of the BEST braiders around South Carolina! She is a awesome braider/stylist and she does a great job mimicking photos of styles or video captions. I have received services at this salon multiple times. I gave Fatou Hair Braiding a positive review because I always have lots of compliments on their braiding technique, no braids fallout, and they join in as team to complete your styles fast. I hate sitting for hours but they allow you to take breaks and always have positive vibes!!!

I’ve visit this salon twice since moving here to Columbia and I must say my experience gets better and better each visit. The great hospitality these young ladies shown me once I entered their establishment was amazing. I got some stitch feed-ins cornrows the first visit and I got so many great compliments on my hair, I had to double back and get some medium knotless braids and as soon as I left and went to get something to eat people was complimenting me again about my hair. If you’re looking for an excellent hair braider then look no further because these ladies will definitely get you right!!!!!!!

Best African shop I’ve ever been too I’m military and me and my daughter come here faithfully . Very sweet ladies they are not like other African shops . They don’t sit and argue all day A1!!!!!!!!!

Everytime I come to this shop no matter what braidstyle you ask for they can do it and it's ALWAYS NEAT.. the two lovely ladies who did my hair 5 stars all day thank you 😊 so I give the shop 5 stars for the braids that are always nice NEAT and the ladies are super sweet. I wanted small twist. I bought my own hair from QVR real human kinky hair 4 bundles and they used all of it. It was easy to booked I just called. I came at 9:20 started at 9:40ish left at 6:45-7:00. 1 person started my hair and then 2 others came. And then only 2 ppl were doing my hair which was fine but they all twist different which is a con. My hair has been up for a week and a half. It looks like my natural hair, but some of my twist are slipping already. I think if they would have braided down the weave with the natural hair more like a knotless it wouldnt slip as bad. I did like my end result, I do have bigger twist in the back of my head which I'm fine with them being bigger but I do feel they could have been neater and consistent. I wanted a full look but not a lot of twist, my twist are smaller in the front as well as the parts. I paid $250. I would recommend and return. Just make sure you vocalize what you want and if something is wrong and they will tend to it. The ladies were pleasant. They also prefer you to pay up front or half way through your service. They do take breaks to eat. If you are in a rush I would clear the day. The video is my hair after being up for a week and a half. The brown shirt was the 2nd day of my hair being up

I'm giving three stars for pricing it goes up depending on how they feel I guess. I think prices should be posted and if you pay thru cash app it's xtra 4 dollars but also they take breaks to eat and it makes your time there longer. So it a hit or miss with them to me.

I got my hair braided on Monday 7/8/24 in some medium boho knotless braids and I am so in love with them. All of the ladies were so sweet and friendly from the moment I got there up until I walked out of the door. The 2 ladies that braided my hair did an awesome job. I have gotten so many compliments. I will definitely be back for my next set of braids. Thank you ladies🥰

I gave 2 stars bc the style was extremely nice. First off I was supposed to bring hair and wasn't told that at the time of making the appointment so was charged $10 more. Was told it would only take 5-6 and ended up being 7.5 hours. She said my hair was longer and hair was soft😔. Then I paid through cash app and was charged $4 more being it's a instant charge to cash out,NOT MY ISSUE. The way I pay shouldn't come with a extra fee bc you wanna cash it out instantly.

They do really good but they charge too much. They charged me over $200 for feed ins. Felt like I was taken advantage of because I’m young. I’ll take my money elsewhere

Braided caught every strand of my hair, but its really sore and tight. *** I had to take out my braids in less than 2 weeks. The hair frizzed up real bad, and my scalp broke out in bumps. I've been going here forever, but this relationship is over!!!!

The first time I went, Fatu did my hair. I knew I wanted an updo but wasn't sure of the style. Fatu gave me a beautiful cornrow updo at a very reasonable price. Went back a second time, and Fatu was traveling, and someone else braided my hair. I was asked how much Fatu charged me 3 different times and was given a price, but upon completion, the price was $30 dollars more. The style was nice, but it nor the headache was what I wanted.
