For the first time ever, my husband gave me a strong recommendation to go see his own hairstylist, Ferrazz, so I had to investigate for myself what he has been raving about. Yesterday, I walked into a beautiful chill salon and got an amazing haircut from Ferrazz. He knew exactly how to cut my thick, coarse, curly hair. I woke up this morning - feeling such a lightness, while keeping the length I asked him to maintain. I am loving my haircut. So count this as two reviews - one from my husband and one from me. Also Ferrazz and I had a wonderful conversation.

Amazing experience. I really messed up my hair with bleaching and Ferrazz was able to accommodate the next day, and I am so thankful because I had to go on vacation the same day. He did amazing job and made it look nice. From burned orange mess to a presentable good looking hair. Grateful for his kindness.

I haven't had such a great haircut in a VERY long time. My hair is very fine and haircutters tend to either chop it to death to try to add volume, or cut it blunt to attempt a thicker look. Neither ever work out well. Ferrazz has such skill and an eye for *where* to cut and how much, that my hair actually looks like it has body and volume without frizz or flyaways. For the quality of the cut, and in this neighborhood, his pricing is also very reasonable. I highly recommend.

The best hair salon experience you will have in NYC guaranteed. I don't often write reviews, but Ferrazz deserves one!! I got a keratin treatment from him and even though the process is very long and tiring, he was super thorough with his approach the entire time. You could tell he has great knowledge when it comes to all things hair and I can't wait to come back for a haircut because I am positive he will create magic.

By far the best haircut of my life! You can tell Ferrazz is highly experienced by the way he explains the process of the haircut. He managed to take weight off certain sections of my hair that were weighing it down and overall gave my hair more dimension. Ferrazz even taught me how to take care of my curls. I got so many compliments on how my hair looked so much more healthier and voluminous. Would definitely go again!

Ferrazz does an amazing job with men’s hair. He gave me the best haircut I’ve ever had. I’ve been looking for someone who asks the right questions and uses the appropriate techniques for my hair, many others just treat all men’s hair the same. He is very knowledgeable and personable, answered all my questions and gave me tips for what to do at home. Needless to say, I’ll be back!

Ferrazz worked my head like a true sculptor and took painstaking efforts to thin my ends in a way that highlighted beautiful waves that I never knew I had. Run, don't walk to Ferrazz.

Ferrazz just gave me the best haircut of my life! He really listened to what I wanted, and explained how (and why) he was going to cut my hair to bring out it's color, wave pattern, shape and volume. He didn't rush through the cut even though I booked my appointment last minute, and he has more than enough stories to keep me entertained while in the chair (if you've ever wondered if it's possible to learn sailing in a hair salon, it is)! All that at a fair price. Ferrazz is the only one cutting my hair from now on.

I cannot say enough about visiting Payton at this salon!!! What a wondrous hair experience. Really more of an art-piece than just a hair cut and color!!! If you have a vision for how you want to look, Payton will help bring out your best self!!! A visit to the salon can become an extraordinary outing! The salon itself is also very lovely!!! Very intimate and and relaxing! And it never gets too full! It feels like a very safe environment under current conditions! Do yourself a favor and pay a visit! I am absolutely thrilled with my most recent cut and artistic coloring and cannot wait for the next!

I went back to see Payton at Ferrazz Hair for another incredible hair adventure and had an absolutely transcendent time!!!! Payton is beyond just a stylist, he’s an artist who transforms you into your most beautiful self!!! For fall, Payton gave me some rich colors that pop and make me feel fabulous and confident! There’s no hair Payton can’t make better, whether you’re looking for a simple cut or an elaborate transformation! I could not more highly recommend him.

Payton is a literal genius. If you'd like to look more like yourself (whatever that self may be! I am of the 1950s vintage school, but my other friends who see Payton range from Goth to pastel princess aesthetics), do yourself a favor and go see him. His eye for color and flow is astonishing.

Recently had my hair cut by Ferrazz and loved how it turned out. He listened to what I asked for, took his time and explained his process as he went. I could tell he was very experienced and knew what he was doing, I will definitely be returning for my next cut. Highly recommend!
