Worst customer service I ever experienced. Went here for the first time with a few friends despite it not being the one I usually go to. Halfway through my manicure he pulled out his phone and was on it for about 5 minutes without saying a word to me. After a while I asked him if he was going to finish my nails and his response was “yeah sorry I forgot”. He also refused to do a French manicure when i get them frequently at Nail Box salon. If you get the guy covered in tattoos just walk out and save your time and money.

It’s with reluctance that I post this, but my experience at this salon has continued to decline unfortunately over the last six months. Recently, I brought my daughter with me for mani/pedis that I ended up regretting. Her nails were the equivalent of a train wreck and even when going back to have them redone, turned out badly. Mine chipped not even twenty four hours later. After having one corrected, another chipped later that day. I’ve had good luck with them before, but lately the quality has worsened. No one has time to spend going back to a salon for corrections, especially at the prices charged. When I pay for a manicure, I don’t expect just using a dremmel tool to sand down the cuticle, which is painful and leaves bleeding nail beds. I, unfortunately will have to take my business elsewhere.

I was visiting from out of state and was in the area. Decided to try this salon while my friend was at an appt. Had mani/pedi on Thursday and on Sat/Sun, I noticed gel polish had already starting to wear off fingers! My toes still look ok. I thought gel polish would last longer. Will try to reach out to salon on Tues (7/2) as they are closed on Mon. Returning home in a few days. It would be nice if they would do a touch up and not charge an outrageous price.

I had a pedi done today and realized they didn’t even buff my heals at all! I was on the phone and wasn’t paying enough attention. I basically paid $40 plus 25% tip for painted toes and she cut one way too short. They didn’t even massage lotion on my legs. I don’t usually complain because she was friendly but feel like she just wasn’t very thorough.

I was a loyal customer for 2 years but today was my last day. It’s Sunday so I knew I’d wait awhile. I waited about 30-45 minutes, which was fine. At first two women were seen before me even though I arrived before them. I brushed that off and remained patient. Then they called two more people before me that arrived arrived after me. They do a really good job but this was unfortunate.

My 2 daughters, 13 & 14, both got acrylic nails with 2 little flowers on 4 nails. They were charged $97 each!!! Their father waited in the car and were not in the salon with them. The girls used their own debit card. This salon added a charge that says custom item for $35.00! This salon took advantage of these young girls, I would suggest you are diligent in reviewing your charges before you pay. See receipt and pictures of each girls nails.

Absolutely TERRIBLE. My granddaughter had a gel pedi & despite the tech saying it was dry & she could wear shoes - her pedi was totally messed up. My tech paid absolutely no attention & my pedi looks like a 6 year old did it. Will not recommend and will NEVER go back. Ridiculously expensive for substandard product. I am REALLY Really mad about this.

Came in as a walk in after getting a set done at a different salon that was TERRIBLE. They were super friendly and fixed the horror! LOVE the new set and will definitely we back!

Got a horrible over priced pedicure, waited for 40 minutes with my feet soaking to get a 10 minute pedicure with no massage, lotion or scrub. Ran a pumice stone over my heel then painted my nails and sent me on my way also none of my nails were cut even? They were all different lengths from each other I’ve never left a bad review for a nail salon but they obviously were over booked and the guy didn’t care if he did a good job or not, I just wish I could get my money back

I walked in I was greeted and asked to sign in as I was signing in. I ask, is there going to be a long wait the receptionist said no the wait is not that long one of the nail techs looked up at me and said it’s going to be a long wait! I felt like she did that because I was the only black person in there, the receptionist looked at her and said no it’s not a long wait. I walked out. I refuse to give someone my business who doesn’t want it. I’ve had my nails done there previously and they were really nice. I don’t know what that was about but I’ll never go there again!!! #Racist

My first time there and I have to say, the staff was great and super friendly. Tommy and Love did an amazing job. I showed Love a picture of what I wanted and he made it happen! Will definitely go there again and can’t wait to try different designs!!

My sister, mother in law and I went before spring break. My toe polish had ripples in it and lasted about 2 days before chipping. By the end of my vacation week at least 3 were chipped. The pedicure was less than any other I’ve received, no scrubbing the bottom of your feet, no sugar scrub, and no hot towels. The guy basically begged me to do dip instead of acrylic. I went with the dip and he ended up putting gel color on top anyway because he said it didn’t match my toes good enough with just the dip. He glued my finger to his and had to pull them apart. I left with 3 bleeding fingers, 2 cuticles and one under the nail where he glued my finger to the nail and tried to pull it apart. The tips are not glued down to my nails and I fear there will be a fungus under them once I remove them. Trying to hold out on taking them off so my money isn’t completely wasted. We will never visit here again.

The best nail salon in town! I have used multiple nail techs are they are all awesome. Dip mani and regular pedis are quick and always a quality job. Highly recommend!!!!

Disappointing experience. I have been a client at this nail salon and recently received a pedicure from a lady I've seen working there for years. From the moment she sat down with her tools, she was unfriendly. Later at the end of my pedicure she got up and never came back to check my nails or help me put on my flip flops. After 20 minutes of sitting there, I ended up asking another person working at the chair next to me if she thought it was alright to slide my shoes on. Pedicures are a rare treat for me and her attitude took all the fun out of it.

I came in to get my nails done in preparation for my first Disney Cruise. I had a specific idea in mind and had made an appointment noting I wanted this specific design. When I arrived the salon was bright and clean. I arrived a few minutes early and waited less than 10 minutes. I was assigned to Brian as my tech and showed him my design via a printout I had. He was very helpful in outlining how to get there. He did a dip base with gel on top to allow for the design. It turned out absolutely perfect. Additionally, he happened to have nail stickers that were the exact theme of the cruise and incorporated these into the design. Brian was very detail oriented made sure my nails looked great. The service was also very affordable. I would highly recommend this salon and Brian.

I definitely won’t recommend this nail salon. —— OVER PRICED —— In phone call they told me for gel pedicure and gel manicure would range around $75 and for nail extensions extra $5 but after going there they have increased the price to $114 (gel pedicure-57$ and gel manicure -57) and for almond shape again extra $5 so total it was $119. This is not my first time doing gel nails and seriously for shaping I have never paid extra dollars. For gel pedicure hardly the lady did in less than 10 mins. No scrub or anything. Same with the gel manicure. And final output was worst and it is not evenly shaped as well and I don’t even feel they are experienced and the lady who was doing my nails she didn’t even concentrate properly and while trimming the nails she almost tried to cut. And she constantly kept talking to the other employee who was sitting beside her in her language and at few points she stopped the work and continued to talk. No work ethics! I’m definitely not going to this place again or recommending to anyone. Money waste and time waste. I want my money back.

I have been going to FLN for about a year and a half. Every time I have a design, the techs exceed my expectations. They go over and beyond on my nails. The detail is incredible. The salon is clean. The staff, especially the receptionists, are great and so friendly. I will never not come here. Highly recommend!!!!

We have been going here for over a year going every 4 to 5 weeks for couples pedicures and sometimes manicures. We have liked all the techs and for the most part have had good experiences. Today not so much. We had appts scheduled. Techs took less than15 minutes on us. My leg massage was two rubs up and down my leg. The girl working on my husband talked/ laughed non stop to the guy working on me in their language. I thought it was rude and annoying. Not a happy customer and probably won't go back. Lots of salons out there to chose from. Why pay for disappointment.

I went here a few weeks ago and asked for dip with tip, I picked a gel color and didn’t know it was and the guy just put acrylic nails without asking me if I wanted that, proceeded to destroy my cuticles and when I kept saying it hurt he just said pain equals beauty, I went back to Try someone else and explained what happened, removed acrylic I didn’t want, which I was charged for, and this person actually hurt my cuticles even more, they were raw and actually bleeding , and now so sore days later

Literally the only place I will go in Louisville anymore. Been going for over a year, had a different technician every time and they are all fabulous! I am always happy with my nails when I'm done!!

Prior to coming to First Lady, I had been using the same salon for 8 years - the past several months they have gone down hill. My girl and I get our nails done every 3 weeks. We both have long natural nails and needed somewhere versed in design/dip powder. We were given several recommendations and we decided to check out First Lady. After our appointment we were both very impressed. The attention to detail, the shaping, the time it took and end result were all perfect. I absolutely LOVED my nails. We tried another salon just to compare and although they were good, they were VERY expensive, so we decided First Lady is the right choice moving forward. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because I like to see exactly what I am paying for. Just being told a price and not seeing the breakdown always makes me feel a little uneasy. Regardless, Mai is incredible and I will definitely going back to see her <3

The quality service, friendly staff, and the special small chairs for young girls will keep us coming back again and again. I've taken my young daughter here twice as a special treat and she absolutely loves it! Everyone is so pleasant, including the customers, and it's just nice to be pampered and take a break every once in a while.
