Rayna did an absolutely fabulous job on my transitioning gray hair. I began letting it grow out in Jan. from being colored every 3 weeks. Boy, what a mess! Even though it will take some time getting use to, Rayna did exactly as I asked, blend the gray!

Had an amazing experience at First & Park Beauty Salon! The salon is absolutely gorgeous. Welcoming, beautiful, relaxing. All of the things! Rayna is a true artist and I trusted her fully with my hair! After not dyeing my hair for 3+ years, I was ready to add in some subtle highlights. Rayna nailed it! It was exactly what I was envisioning. I left the salon feeling so refreshed and relaxed. Chatting with Rayna is also such a joy. I would recommend Rayna and First & Park Beauty to anyone looking for a stylist that takes the time to truly understand the look you are wanting to achieve. I used to go to Rayna back in New York City. She has a great feel for hair and very gentle and holistic approach. Whenever she did color it would always last long and grew out gloriously. Even though I got either painting or balayage my hair remained healthy and maintained its texture. I grew the longest and healthiest hair when she was my hair stylist. She’s a true artist. Such a hidden gem tucked in the Short North! I was having a hard time finding a new hairstylist after moving back to Columbus and Emily did such an amazing job. They pay attention to detail to make sure you are walking out the door with exactly what you came in looking for. HIGHLY recommend!

I recently had an amazing experience at First Park and Beauty with stylist Emily Nugent. From the moment I walked in, the ambiance was inviting. The stylist was incredibly attentive, taking the time to understand exactly what I wanted for my hair. We talked many times ahead of time and the day of so she knew what I was looking for. She expertise was evident throughout the appointment, and they offered valuable suggestions based on my hair type and face shape. We added some highlights that I’m in love with. The salon was clean and well-maintained, which added to the overall positive experience. I left feeling very happy and confident with my new hairstyle, which perfectly matched my expectations. I saw Emily Nugent for a cut and color. I absolutely love my hair. She really listened to what I was hoping to achieve with my color (take out the brass from years of box color, cool it down, add some highlights and give me room to grow out the roots a bit) and she made it happen. I have long, curly, coarse hair that is not easy to cut. Most cuts I have had in the past were only good one way - either curly or straight. Rayna cut my hair and I finally have a cut that looks good BOTH curly and straight. She is also somehow super quick with a great blowout. I regularly get my roots done and I finally don’t have to worry about them turning red. Now I try to make sure I have plans after she does my hair because I don’t want to waste it. :)

Rayna is an amazing hair stylist! It was my first appointment with her at the salon, but her kindness & banter made the experience relaxing. My hair was recently chemically damaged (done at another salon) and breaking off/thinning everywhere... because of this I decided to chop my hair & go short. Rayna is amazingly talented at what she does and made my thin, fine hair look full & healthy! Her technique with adding texture and volume to my hair has left me stunned. I will definitely be back and 10/10 recommend her!

Highly recommend! I had been growing my grey out for about 6 months when I found Rayna. She had great suggestions and blended the rest of my hair seamlessly with my natural grey. She also gave me an amazing styled cut that is low maintenance and looks great with minimal effort. I love the results!

I am so hesitant to go to a new stylist. I spend way too much time researching and reading reviews. When I stumbled upon Rayna, I couldn't wait to schedule an appointment with her. And, I'm excited to say, she did not disappoint! She asked all the right questions, made all the right suggestions, and gave great advice on how I can better care for my hair. Rayna truly understands low maintenence hair and I am obsessed with my haircut. WORDS cannot describe! I wish I had found Rayna BEFORE my hair debacle. She had to correct what went wrong at a different high end salon. I was formerly a brunette who was over bleached, over processed and hating my hair! She gave me her thoughts and based on my end goal (I wanted gray blending) very hard to do properly. She gave my hair life again. Natural looking COLOR beyond imagination. I could have cried in her chair! No joke. She created me again! LOVE LOVE LOVE HER!!

As soon as I heard Rayna moved back to Columbus, I was so anxious to book an appointment with her. She actually cut my hair years ago before heading to NY. She was fantastic then and now she's on a whole other level. Not only does she have a really phenomenal skill, she also is super stylish, so she knows what's in and she has a great eye for what will look good based on your hair type and face shape. When I sit in her chair, I have complete confidence to tell her to do whatever she wants and I know it will turn out fantastic. Rayna has been my absolute favorite stylist I have been to for both cut and balayage coloring! At each visit, she would spend time to talk through what look I was hoping to achieve and always gave great advice on what would work best on my frame. She has excellent skill in cutting and coloring my hair in a way that would require the lowest maintenance for myself day to day. I have had full trust going to Rayna and even asking her to simply cut my hair as she thinks would be best! Rayna is truly an ARTIST!! When I sit down at her chair I know I am in for an exciting transformation and I always leave looking and feeling like a new woman! What woman doesn’t deserve that?! Rayna knows how to make me feel right at home and is excellent at listening to what I want and then not only meeting but always exceeding my expectations of how my hair can look and feel. She cuts my hair in a way that it lays beautifully without needing to style it, which is great for a low-maintenance gal like me. I can have it up in a bun all day and take it down in the evening and it looks like I put effort into styling it when I surely didn’t. She colors to compliment my skin tones and enhance my natural beauty.
