I've been going to Chris for about 8-10 years now. Appointments are flexible and he is always on time with his appointment. I used to hate going to a barber and sitting waiting an hour to get a cut when I could have been doing something else with my time. If he book you for 5:00pm, you're sitting down in the chair at 5:00pm. It's definitely a family friendly atmosphere as I take my 5 & 7 yr olds there and never have to worry about language or anything like that. Five Stars (pun intended) and highly recommended.

Coming from someone who has been going to great clips most of my life, I can proudly say I will never be going back there again. Chris at Five Star Barber Salon did a fantastic job, he took his time with my hair and didn’t make me feel like I was being rushed out the door, I highly recommend going there.

Best barber in the city hands down. Don’t even waste your money and go to any other barber shop or you’ll just end up here anyway for him to fix what they messed up. Ask for Chris he the best barber in Charlotte

New to the area in need of a barber and I stumbled upon this place. Instantly when you walk in you are greeted welcomed by the barbers. Chris is the barber who cuts my hair. HIGHLY RECOMMEND you go and request him. He listened to exactly how I wanted my hair cut and delivered! He cut with quality and efficiency. I was in and out. He also accepts appointments. 10 out of 10 RECOMMEND. Call or pop up and ask for Chris. He’s been cutting my hair now for 2 years.

Loved the vibes and my barber was a stand up guy. His name is Barber Russo.He was fast but not too fast, and he communicated. I like how he asked me before he used the straight razor on me. My last barber did not. The straight razor make some people bump up. It was an overall somber experience.

I was recommended by my Sister...I needed a hair cut for my girlfriend’s graduation. No one has been able to achieve the haircut I have been wanting for the past four or five haircuts. Not until I walked into this place and Ronnie was getting up and my Sis said “there he is”. I’m VERY particular about my hair and he took his time with me as I showed him the shading I wanted all around and how low to go up top! Ronnie is the first person in two years or more to cut my hair just as I wanted it! Although I live in SC, I’m in Charlotte one week out the month and he will be my new barber from now own!! Very polite, professional, took his time and I was and still am satisfied with my haircut. A week later I am still getting compliments on my haircut, now that’s a Master Barber!! Thank you Five Star and thank you Ronnie!!

Been a customer of Great Clips for a few years and met Chris through my job and I decided to finally say I need to go to a real barber and oh man what an awesome experience it was. Russo is the man! I just moved to town here a few months ago and after 4-5 other places I tried I have settled in here. Dude cuts the best beard lines and his fades are tight. He really takes his time to make sure everything is perfect. I HIGHLY recommend Russo!!

They told me how they don't really handle long hair, which I get after they explained it to me. They were nice about it and told me where I can go. I think it's a specialty what they do, and that's not a bad thing.
