have been there last time a few years ago. Asking at the entry if steam and dry sauna are working - all fine the reply from checkin guy. Mid Jan 2025, cold outside and also cold in general areas. Dry /Finnish/ sauna have temp between 180->190 F, this dry sauna had around 100F only - too cold to be called dry sauna. Then looking for steam sauna. Asking one attendend -> there is no steam sauna any more. But the checkin guy said: all working fine. Carpets look little filthy, need an update to return.

Place is very clean but there sauna nor the steam room are working. Front desk did not advise. Staff at the front desk very friendly

I have enjoyed Flex for many years! It has always been a welcoming experience and the staff have gone the extra mile for me several times. I have ramped up me visits recently, reason being there is a new verve being expressed along with a true cross section of attendees with diversity represented in age, race, and social practice. I am so thankful that such a place as the Flex Spa exists, and I never miss a chance to sing it’s praise's.

Me and my partner got there at 7:00 the two attendants that were there were so welcoming and humble really cool outstanding guys even talk to me about certain lubes and we're super attentive but then when it hit passing midnight that's when things got bad these guys were acting like if everything you asked for them was a nuisance not even looking at you when you asked for a towel if you don't like your job don't be in customer service other than the rudeness I got at midnight the only three other things were wrong about this was they have a small hot tub, one bathroom, sadly the parking lot is small as well I had an amazing time in the beginning and I'm glad I left when the nighttime crew was there don't go during midnight you're going to have jerks not attending you 🤬

El personal es mucho y nomas estan jugando y voy much ahi pero esta ves k fui tarde 1hora 7 minutos para entrar k estaban haciendo cambio y me fui al nort Hollywood y creo k fue genial no ire mas al flex y otros dias y para atenderte estan platicando y tarde 1 hora 7 minutos y no me dieron toalla y el cuarto esta sucio

I was visiting Los Angeles in 2000, as a gay man l spent up my savings at the bars and baths, as a result became homeless and was drinking heavily and was 86ed out of the flex complex bathhouse for bad behavior but would love to come back only this time l am sober

Pésimo lugar sucio y viejo, empleados con un mal servicio critican a las personas que van a ese lugar, fui por primera vez no se si eso cobran por un locker 37 dolares y no me dieron recibo me da la impresión que se dejan el dinero. Lo único mejor q tienen es la parte de afuera. Para no regresar nunca. Cero recomendado, Mil veces mejor steamworks en Berkeley ca y más barato y magnífica atención al cliente.

Came during a "shift change" and was screamed at by a member of the staff (guy covered in piercings and tattoos.) The "shift change" had me waiting around for like 20 minutes so I just gave up and left due to how annoyed I was at the service and wait.

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at Flex Spa. When I attempted to enter, I was treated differently solely because of my race, and it was clear that I was unwelcome. The manager’s attitude reflected this as well, showing a disregard for Black patrons and failing to create an inclusive environment. It’s disheartening to encounter such discriminatory behavior today, especially in a place that should be safe for everyone. I hope Flex Spa takes feedback like this seriously and implements changes to foster a respectful and inclusive space for all customers.

As several others have mentioned, the staff is rude (not all) last time there arrived during shift change. Told us it would be a few minutes which turned into almost an hour. Not once did anyone apologize for this delay or even thanked us for our patience. No customer service skills at all.

I've been coming here for years but the last two times I've noticed this guy who is like following and looking at me a certain way wich I do not appreciate As if I'm doing any type of drugs maybe he should be suspicious of the people who be acting weird, those are the ones on drugs n i know because I've been told this is the place where unfortunately allot of twekers come to get tweeked n I've also witnessed the tweekers acting all weird n tweeky. Lol I said tweeky.

I am an Asian daddy and Iwas reluctant to try Flex, given all the negative comments about staff rudeness and poor customer service. That’s why I was surprised by how well I was treated by the attendant. Since this was my first visit, he even showed me to my room. The interior was relatively clean considering the age of the facility. The plumbing in the showers need repair. The outdoor amenities are nice. Overall, I enjoyed my visit. The only real negative comment I have is that there was a hustler working the parking lot.

07/15/2024. Steam Sauna is not working and the dry sauna is not hot enough 😔. The facilities need an urgent maintenance, some showers are not working. 35$ for six hours. No way.

Very strange place... The outside part is very nice with a smoker's corner, a jacuzzi, a small swimming pool, nice lighting at night... The inside is quite small but with video rooms, dry sauna and hammam, vending machine ($2 for pop corns or chocolate bar - good price), a workout room, several toilets, lots of very friendly staff, etc. The problem is : this place is a time capsule ! EVERYTHING dates back to the eighties : the music (which is good) the crowd, and the premises which haven't been maintained or even cleaned for the past 40 years! I visited dozens of gay saunas in the world but this is, by far, the filthiest! Carpets are so dirty that they are literally sticky, mattresses in the rooms are disgusting, they probably haven't been replaced in the past 30 years and you do not want to lie down on them, hammam was out of order and not functioning, most showers were also out of order, there were no soap dispensers, the toilets have no lock (!!), the machines in the workout room date back from the early 80s and have never been cleaned or maintained, and the day I visited, there were very few people and, a mostly older and crowd of ugly guys. The only younger guy was on drugs... Definitely the world's worse quality-price ratio when it comes to gay saunas... A dreadful experience...

What started as a self-care evening quickly turned into a frustrating and unpleasant experience. Here's a detailed account of why I won't be returning: Unhygienic Conditions From the moment I stepped in, the overall cleanliness of the spa was concerning. The locker rooms had a musty odor, and the towels felt damp and rough. The common areas didn't appear to be disinfected regularly, raising serious hygiene concerns. Unprofessional Staff The staff at Flex Spa seemed apathetic and disinterested. During check-in, the receptionist displayed a lack of courtesy and barely acknowledged my presence. Throughout my stay, staff members were inattentive and provided minimal assistance. Bedbug Infestation The worst part of my experience, however, was the undeniable bedbug infestation I encountered. After waking up with itchy bites all over my body, I discovered several live bedbugs on the mattress of the daybed I was using. Disgusted and alarmed, I immediately reported the issue to the staff. Their response was nonchalant and dismissive, downplaying the severity of the problem. Management's Lack of Concern The lack of urgency and concern displayed by the staff regarding the bedbug infestation was appalling. It seemed like they were either oblivious to the problem or simply didn't care about addressing it. This entire ordeal left me feeling frustrated and violated. Finding a Better Spa Needless to say, I cut my visit to Flex Spa short and left feeling dissatisfied and itchy. If you're looking for a relaxing and hygienic spa experience in Los Angeles, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. There are plenty of reputable spas that prioritize cleanliness, professionalism, and customer well-being – avoid Flex Spa at all costs!

I come here often to relax and play and have always had a great time. The place is nice with an actual heated pool hot tub that works and sauna you can't beat the price. I highly recommend this place! 😊

Want to give it higher but the staff was the main issue. I was wait listed for the rooms, but they never gave it to me. Kept saying non are available, and the one guy who just arrived got a room. Very unprofessional

This place is filthy and the staff here are so effing rude and useless 🙄 Train your damn employees! Half of the guys that come here stink and don't even shower. Imagine all the diseases they got . 😬 Take your business someplace else trust me .
