This place is a quiet restorative haven in a noisy overwhelming world. I drive an hour in and back from my rural abode to enjoy the magical mineral waters and sensory deprivation. They truly are masters of their craft. Darkness, quiet, weightlessness. Yum. Try it. I find that the sessions build on themselves. Weekly (or more?) is magical if you can make it happen.

I purchased the half off on your birthday week float. The float experience was so beautiful! I feel like the regular price here for a 90 min float ($77 as of 7/2024) is a great deal. It was so relaxing, easy to change the time of my reservation, when my original time no longer worked, and all the staff were so awesome to interact with! And the lobby has character and charm 😊 I highly recommend floating and Float On!

Had my first ever float today and it was amazing! The staff of super friendly and helpful. The facility is very clean and they deep clean every room after each guest. The experience was amazing! I will definitely be going back! 2024 Update: I still float at Float on frequently and have always had a very good experience here. The staff is so incredibly friendly and are really cool people. The ambience in the shop is very relaxing and the staff has great tips and tricks to have good floats. This place is always super clean and cozy. It’s one of my favorite places in Portland!

I’m so grateful this place exists! The vibe, service and variety of tanks really makes this place stand out from the rest. I have been here about 5 times and have enjoyed every single visit. The 2.5 hour one late at night is my favorite. I’m able to transport to another reality. Thank you Float On!

This place is amazing!!! The staff are some of the nicest and friendly people. I don't do a lot of things for myself but after my first float I bought a membership. The way I feel for the rest of the day after my float is almost indescribable, relaxed and peaceful are the closest I can come. But that doesn't even do it justice.

Got a complementary float as a gift! I had been to another float center once before, but it wasn't my jam... and this place brought me back to floating. I was in the pool setup, and cannot recommend enough. The music at the end was the perfect wakeup! The showers were the perfect temp, the shampoo and conditioner was good quality, and most importantly the float was EXCELLENT. This will be a nice once in awhile treat.

I've floated about 2 dozen times, 5 locations. Float On is the best. This whole operation is really refined to an impeccable level of service. They've dialed this in for a pretty hands off but supportive flow. HIghly recommend the overnight float. The staff is open enough to signal their discretion and leave you to your experience. For those who might on occasion operate in a non-ordinary state of awareness, this place is smooth to navigate socially and logistically; you're among friendlies and heads. Excellent ventilation, white noise, and privacy. High quality silicon ear plugs, robe, slippers, towels and other thoughtful appointments. Clean. If you look for it, each room has a place to either connect your phone through a port (they have adapters) or through bluetooth. You can curate your own 6 hour sonic adventure and be left alone to drift in darkness. Room 4 is my favorite. It is always the most consistent temperature (warm). I feel like float on uses slightly more epsom salt - the water often feels more silky and buoyant than other places. Easy to get up and use shared bathroom and private shower before returning to your tank. I honestly think for what you get it's a bargain. I highly recommend their birthday special - everything half off. My only regret is that there are not any opportunities for multi-day floats. Would also be nice if there were bathrooms in each suite, for even greater self sufficiency and privacy.

It's been years since I was at Float On, but my memories are still fresh. I enjoyed every minute I've spent at this place and I highly recommend trying a tank here if you've never done it before. They used to offer double the float time for the same price late night on certain days here... Not sure if they still do, but since I'm a night owl anyway it was perfect for me! Very highly recommended!

I did the floating chamber and my friend float in the pod. She had a bit of sea sickness but I didn’t (and usually I get bad motion sickness so I think it’s really up to how you’re feeling that day🤔) Super calming was super cool experience. Half off on birthday weeks so definitely worth a try if you’re hesitating :) PS the true mirror was super trippy lol but I love it!!

I was in tub for about an hour and half . Didn't feel not much after I left but about half hour later I felt so amazing. All my aches and pains were gone and for the next 3-4 weeks after nothing and I mean nothing could of got me down. I was in best mood and felt so clear in my head! I highly recommend this place for so many reasons. Very healing mentally and physically..

My husband and I had our first float, at Float On. We booked a 90 min float. The experience was magical! Upon arrival we were greeted by friendly staff, who got us set up quickly, and gave us a tutorial on how to use the facilities, and some excellent tips. We only wish we would have booked a longer float. We will definitely be returning in the future. What a huge stress release this provided! My shoulder has been killing me for weeks. One float and the pain is greatly diminished. I can see this becoming a regular part of my self care routine.

Clean - so clean. I went on a Monday which is the day everything is refreshed for the week because I'm a bit ocd/germaphobic. I had a wonderful experience overall - needed the room a bit warmer as I was on the verge of feeling cold on my chest.

I highly recommend this experience. I didn't know what to expect at all- I have had a lot of experience with various forms of meditation, psychedelics, intentional journeys, you name it. This experience however, is not psychedelic or weird or any of that. I found the experience to be an elegant modality in stripping me of stress, fatigue, emotional pressure, and anxiety. Since it is pitch black in the float room, I worried slightly about feeling disoriented- I didn't once feel that way. I felt solid and warm. I felt very secure. I kept reading over and over how fast the 90 minutes would go by and that was accurate! I had periods of being playful and kind of very slowly and lightly pinballing myself in the water by pushing against whichever wall of the tank i brushed against, I floated still and fell asleep. I agitated the water and just bobbed in it like kelp. It was great. I felt very different exiting the facility. Grateful and hopeful. The pandemic has taken a lot away from us and this is one thing I've given myself during all of this that I will always look on fondly and hopefully continue to be able to do; breathe and rest. Do this for yourself. Worth every. Single. Penny.

I can't say I've been to many float places but this is definitely an amazing experience. They provide everything you need for before you float and after you get out of the tank. The employees there are very knowledgeable, friendly, act professionally and accommodating. The tanks are not uncomfortable in any way and I'm saying this as someone who is slightly claustrophobic! A fantastic experience that I recommend for anyone who has already tried float tanks or is looking to go for their first time.

Can't describe the energy that this place has. As someone who has floated at over 20 centers I have to say this place is very special. Staff are incredible and know just how to interact (or not) with clients. Always clean and always powerful. So many options for pods and rooms. Their custom pools are amazing and so spacious. Don't sleep on these guys, come check em out if you haven't already

Have floated here well over a hundred times. This place is a sanctuary. The staff is a welcoming group of good people. The facility is spotlessly clean and the ability to unlock unlimited floats after your sixth visit in a month has helped me navigate some high-stress months with the daily grounding I find while floating. If I ever leave Portland this place will be what I miss most.

I absolutely love floating here. I have been to other facilities and this is hands down the best in the entire metro area. The atmosphere is just right and the staff is so incredibly friendly and professional. I've been coming here periodically for the last 5 years and will keep coming back!! Wish I could give 10 stars.
