Justin is the ultimate stylist, extremely professional, very friendly, very warm and welcoming, I don’t ever want to go to another stylist. I’ve actually followed Justin from one store to another and I’ve recommended friends and I get the same feedback from friends about how amazing he is. The environment is always pleasant. All the stylists and people that work there are always friendly. I always love the music, the vibe and scenery with all the various artists on the walls. Floyd’s 99 is my favorite Stylist shop that I’ve ever been to. Thank you so much for everything you do.

Last night, I received a haircut from Styalist Zeny. During our cut, she made a very clear and obvious mistake on the back of my head, taking out a chunk of my hair (like completely down the skin (super noticeable)). Since it was on the back of my head, I couldn’t see it, and instead of acknowledging her mistake, Zeny never mentioned it and made no attempt to apologize or fix it. Today when I went in to complain, the shop was completely closed down. I am furious and feel manipulated, especially since I left a 30% tip. I’m a very understanding person and totally get that mistakes happen. If Zeny had acknowledged her mistake while I was in the chair, I would have been very understanding and we could have done something to fix it then and there. Instead, she chose to hide her mistake and hoped I wouldn’t notice the gash in the back of my head. I think this type of behavior is extremely unprofessional, and unwarranted considering I’m a frequent customer. I will be returning next week to request a refund of my haircut and tip.

If you’re going to to get your hair did, go to Justin, he’s amazing and also great conversation while getting your hair done. Also great insight if you have dry sky on side of your head or on top or just products for styling.

I visited this barbershop because I was intrigued by the look, and the prices are reasonable for this area. Usually, it's not easy for me to explain the haircut I want, but Viviana literally read my mind. I'm very satisfied. Once, I got a free haircut at a famous salon where I would have paid a lot, and honestly, yes, it was nice, but I ended up coming back to Viviana. 🤣

Update April 2024: I shaved my head for about 3 months. I let my hair grow for a couple months before I reached out to Nick. I was ready for my haircut. Again, with Nick each haircut gets better. We all go through mental battles and a good haircut can ease the battle. I always leave super happy from the barbershop after my haircut. I feel back in the game of life. Thank you so much Nick for the attention to the smallest details and most important the respect you give to all of us, your clients. Till the next haircut! Update December 2023: Each time Nick does a better haircut than the one he did before. I usually cut my hair every 3-4 weeks but this time took me 8weeks. I always do the “same” haircut but Nick keeps adding details. Well, Nick leveled up his game on the past 8weeks. I’m so happy I will visit my mom looking so handsome :)) *currently Nick is working at Faded Fresh Barbershop which is just a few blocks away from Floyd’s. Glad I that I got to know about this change before Nick left!!

Was there today for a haircut at 11:30 (I don’t know the name, but full tatted guy). The guy who cut my hair was so incredibly unfriendly and rude. I asked for advice for different styles and he just kept repeating it’s my decision. I know it’s my decision … but he should be able to give some advice based on his experience. The cut he gave me in the end was also not clean with single hair strains having a different size. I’ve only been to Floyd since I moved here, but I guess I have to change the shop now.

This review is for Viviana Guerrero I first started coming to this barbershop a few months ago for a beard trim. Now, before this barbershop – I had gone to many other barbershops from ones that were synonymous with beard trims to ones that offered beard trims in addition to haircuts. Each time I’d go to them, they would either trim my beard shorter than what I asked for, or trimmed parts that I did not want them to. So, one day, I thought “heck, what can go wrong attempting a beard trim at Floyds (not a beard barbershop)” – and so I made an appointment and they assigned me Viviana. And to my surprise – she did it PERFECTLY! Not only did she do it perfectly, she took her time to do an amazing job and meticulously paid attention to very angle and nook and cranny – something that none of the previous people had done for me. And since 2 weeks ago, I also started going to her for haircuts as well – in which I am just as much a happy camper. And not to take anything away from any one else there, but she’s the only person who I trust to touch my hair and beard as she exceeds my expectations each time.
