My daughter and I found Brittney and Ali, and we couldn’t be happier! We have a new hair family, and the salon is gorgeous and upscale and love all the attention to detail and talent. Ali gave my daughter a trendy gorgeous look she can’t stop staring at her hair and taking pics, and Brittney gave me a fresh new look and extensions are next! Thank you ladies!

BLONDE EXTENSIONS!!! If you are like me struggling to find someone who does an amazing job with extensions and blonde hair I highly recommend Alix! I have struggled for years to find someone who really knows what they are doing with these two services. My first trip to Alix I walked out with platinum blonde hair and 22” extensions, I couldn’t be happier! She works magic! You won’t regret it!

EDIT : making an edit since the owner wanted to respond and throw in a sneaky diss insinuating I cannot afford luxury hair care. You are price gouging. You are what is wrong with the hair industry. You are ruining it. Attaching a photo a previous client left for a review. Anyone reading this, true “luxury” extensions or someone who truly knows what they are doing would never let you leave a salon like this. I was born during the day but not today! I know rent is always due but trying to charge $600+ to install 3 packs of tape in extensions. Just an install. Didn’t need a color or for them to take out existing extensions. Keep your $25 consultation fee and go somewhere that isn’t trying to pull a fast one. I also got the feeling they are not as knowledgeable about tape ins as I was told I didn’t need 3 packs… please that’s tape in 101. Giving two stars because the ambiance was nice.

Haley is a whiz with the scizz…the scissors… anyway. I always feel great and refreshed after a visit here. The girls are so sweet and Domingo the guinea pig lives here too so that is a plus.

Haley is an absolute peach, I've never had a stylist put this much effort into a men's cut. 10/10 would recommend Fluff Bar to anyone, man or female long or short styled cuts. The salon experience is for everyone!!

Haley is my regular gal at this salon (and any salon she's at-honestly, I've followed her to 3 different salons-WORTH IT)-she NEVER fails to wow me with her skills and expertise. Every time I see her, it seems she's gotten additional education on the latest techniques and I get to benefit from it! I have INCREDIBLY thick hair-and SO MUCH of it. Haley is an expert with thick hair and makes my hair so much more manageable. I am a low maintenance hair routine girl and she cuts it accordingly, so I'm not having to fuss over it all the time. She also shows me how to style it, as she's styling it...so I don't walk out of there loving my hair, but then can never replicate that look. On top of all of that, Haley is incredibly sweet and easy to talk to and the salon is just so nice and unique. Worth the trek downtown-it's an easy walk from Union Station.

I had a great experience. You never know how it will go when you have extensions, but they handled it like pros. I had my extensions taken out, a balayage and then my extensions put back in followed by a cut. My stylist made recommendations I liked, as well.

WFH Makeover Visionary! I work from home and like a lot of folks in tech, I am on Google Meets all day long. I realized I needed to: a) revamp my hair look b) desperately get some knowledge on how best to maintain my hair’s health and the look I was attempting Aaryn has been insanely patient and understanding every singIe step of the way, considering how particular I am! I went from full on natural dark brunette to a beautiful golden beige! I truly cannot express how much I love my hair, if I could tell her daily, I absolutely would.
