This salon is fantastic! I’ve gone to Amy for several haircuts and she always does amazing work, paying attention to detail and giving me exactly what I ask for. Reception always greets you kindly and offers beverages. Very chill inside. The stylists are always on time quick and efficient with services.

FM has been my go-to for all my hair needs! Amy is amazing—she takes the time to consult and guide me whenever I consider changing my hair color. I schedule with Kimberly and let me just say she saved my hair and if it’s wasn’t for her my baby shower would have been ruined. The salon is super cute and clean. The moment I walked in I thought it was super cute and just gave me good vibes. The owner doggie was a plus plus. Fell in love with him lol. I came in here not knowing what to expect. A few days before I went to a different salon where the stylist did not give me what I wanted. I showed Kimberly pictures of how my hair was and what I wanted and she was honest with me and told me she can definitely help me but that it might take sessions. I trusted her and wow she did not disappoint. I was soo happy with how my hair turned out and will definitely come back. It's always an amazing experience with Kimberly. From the moment you step into the salon, you're greeted with love and respect. Kim has been doing my hair since 2021, and I haven't trusted anyone else to do balayage on my hair. I showed her an inspiration picture, and she went above and beyond. Jose is my go-to hair stylist. He always makes my hair look amazing. From refreshing my color to saving me from a bad at-home bang trim, he’s always so helpful and friendly. The salon is clean, welcoming, and relaxing. Not to mention the sweet puppy they have in the salon! 10/10 recommend FM Hair Studio and its team.

My wife is really picky when it comes to who does her hair. She has super thick, coarse, and wavy hair so it can be a challenge to get what she wants without damage. After being let down by many stylist, she decided to try this salon and booked with Jose. He listened to all her concerns, was extremely friendly, and did exactly what she wanted! Lastly, everyone at the salon is friendly and very attentive, even if you aren’t their client. They definitely know how to pamper you!

I had a great experience with Kim. She understood what I wanted and made my hair become and feel so healthy again. It’s been years that I’ve been trying to find someone that can handle my thick hair. Everytime I would go get a haircut somewhere else, I would leave feeling like my hair was the same. This time I really felt the difference and my curls finally came back! I will definitely be back when I need my next haircut with you Kim!

Today I went into FM Hair Studio looking for a transformation after neglecting my hair for a long time. Kim was my stylist and she did an amazing job! I got highlights and a cut that refreshed my 3a curls and complimented my face. We also spoke about my hair goals and Kim provided me with curly girl education and product suggestions. I left the salon feeling totally confident, loving my new look. Thanks Kim for giving my hair that magical touch it needed!

It’s so hard to find a stylist for my daughter who knows how to handle thick, coarse, wavy hair and I finally found someone who does! I brought my daughter in to see Jasmine and she knew exactly what my daughter’s hair needed. She was very thorough explaining what cut would be good for her hair and kept me informed with every step she made! My daughter felt so comfortable with her and still talks about her to this day! Hey all, I’m not really one to write reviews but I was so happy with the service and haircut here, I had to take a moment to recognize this place. Formerly a downtown hair salon, this is a gem now located in Avondale. I have crazy cowlicky hair and have been trying to find the right haircut all my life. Amy, the stylist, is the first person who really listened to me and gave me the perfect haircut (I have never gotten so many compliments). And why don’t men go to salons more often. With Valentine’s Day coming up, your gut will love the premium service (even if he pretends he doesn’t-I know I did). Highly recommend.

Amy at FM Hair Studio did a fabulous job! I came into the salon just before my birthday, wanting a fall refresh on my color before my weekend plans. She did a balayage and suggested adding in some low lights for the season. I loved the way my hair turned out and I’m excited for a low maintenance style to have throughout winter. I had such a great experience at FM Hair Studio! I have incredibly thick, voluminous, and coarse curly hair, and came in for a Brazilian Blowout. Jasmine and Jose did such a great job - my hair felt much softer and looked far less frizzy after the treatment. They also took the time to blow dry my hair afterwards, and it looks amazing! Was very impressed with the service, and the salon was lovely too.

I recently moved to the neighborhood and thought on trying a salon that’s closer home. It didn’t disappoint! Amy had to reschedule our appointment, but she was very attentive and responsive to make sure I had my new booking all set. And Jose, who did my haircut is great, open to listen what I wanted and making suggestions. Great experience, definitely coming back.

I used to go to another salon for years, but I wasn’t happy with my hair after a while especially for what I was paying for. I started coming here over a year ago and I’ve only had Jose do my hair and he’s been the best. He gives me exactly what I want and asked for, and he’s the sweetest/funniest guy ever lol I like how personable he is and he always remembers everything I tell him 😂 this is a fun salon, I Love coming here!!
