My husband gifted me a scalp treatment at the salon back in April. I was scheduled for the service when the machine broke. There has been no follow-up from the salon, we have tried to call many times to book the appointment and they have given us the run around. We requested our money back because it is now August and they have yet to do so. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT go to this salon!

Very disappointed I’ve been going there for two years and in the last couple of months with all the changes, they no longer offer my original service I would get and they refused to provide a refund for a service that I have prepaid for or any updates on what will happen.

I booked an appointment online for a dermaplane/peel combo listed at $150. When I arrived, the receptionist confirmed that I had booked for the dermaplane/peel combo. After I received the service I was charged $315 - over double the price listed online then tip! I paid at the time because there were people waiting in the small lobby area and I wanted to get home and double check that I didn’t see the incorrect price online. Once I got home and confirmed it was in fact $150, I called back for a refund or store credit. I was told that there were new owners and different prices, and that they in fact didn’t offer the dermaplane/peel combo anymore (even though the receptionist confirmed in person). They stated the online price was an “error” (aka their mistake of not updating prices) and they could only offer me a complimentary dermaplane (less than half of what I should be refunded) or 10% off my next service instead of honoring the price listed and what I thought I was paying. I would not have booked the service had I known the price, and I see another review complaining about a price discrepancy as well. No one I spoke with was particularly friendly, including the girl who gave my peel/dermaplane. This place feels cheap and slimy so I’m declining their offer and taking my business elsewhere.

I absolutely LOVED my hair spa treatment and trim with Arora. She had a fun energy and took the time to listen about my hair routine AND what was going on in life. She took her time and explained everything we were doing for the health of my hair. Then, with the trim session, she did exactly what I had in mind and we had a great chat and chemistry throughout the experience. Thank you, Arora! :)

Communication lacked from the front desk with regards to pricing and what it includes. Initially quoted $69 for bloodwork and when completed, billed $269. Medical consultation of bloodwork was informative although shocked when i received pricing plan of $899 and wasn't offered membership details until I asked about lower options for which seemed incredibly high, maybe because its Scottsdale. * Caveat Emptor

Best service in town! I get the scalp massages 💆‍♂️ 😌 🤗. It is the best! So calming and I am always relaxed afterwards. Plus my hair feels light and clean.

Came here for the first time today for laser hair removal. The salon is super cute! And the front desk staff were so nice, I tend to get anxious easily and they made me feel very welcomed! They chatted with me and were just super sweet. The laser tech was also awesome and easy to chat with, was like I was just chatting with a friend! Will be back for my future laser touch ups 😊

I had a scalp cleanse. "Facial for your scalp". It was amazing. Aurora is amazing. The entire staff I dealt with was great. Definitely recommend and will definitely go back. Already scheduled my next appointment

I have been coming to focal point for underarm laser lightening, I have to say that Martha is amazing. She has done such a great job treating my underarms. Most hyperpigmentation is gone! Martha is also very attentive and knowledgeable on how to help you improve and take care of the hyperpigmentation. I am very happy with my results.

I visited for a Head Spa. My specialist was excellent. However, I expected a longer, more relaxing scalp massage experience. All of the Head Spas open in DFW offer 90 minute sessions. Otherwise a good experience.

They had a new technician treat my legs even though she was not my usual technician I was scheduled with. She burned my legs and I later went to the hospital and was diagnosed with second degree burns to multiple areas of my legs. The whole time the technician told me the pain I was feeling was normal. Now the owner of the spa is refusing to give me any information to report the technician and refusing to give me my health records from my visits there around 5 times. Notice how the owner won’t respond to any negative reviews here besides to blame the reviewer for their bad experience

You should definitely check it out. It's the best in the area, hands-down. My husband and I both have been patients at Focal Point for over a year and the service is always good. They take care of you from making the appointment all the way through until you leave. It's spotless, the equipment is new and they have everything I need, too! Everyone is just so friendly there.

Had my hair cut last week by Jozie, who was absolutely wonderful! My hair was looking pretty rough (it has been months since I cut or colored it) and she gave me a great cut. I absolutely love it! Thank you Jozie :)

I have had various services done at Focal point from the head spa to ipl to the adva laser. Prior to the last time I was there I would rave about this place especially the people that work there. However the scar damage that was done to my face after my last visit has been devastating to me. I went to Focal point on April 19th of this year for an IPL (which I have had done many times before without incident. When I arrived the staff at the desk (who are wonderful and deserve 10 stars) suggested I look into the Adva Laser instead of a regular IPL. The staff incuding the technician LYNNETTE kept saying "no downtime" over and over so I changed my appt to an adva laser treatment. The appt went fine so I thought and off i went. That evening of the 19th my face bubbled up with what appeared to be burn blisters I was HORRIFIED and scared. I could not look at myself in the mirror. I contacted the salon the next day bc the blisters covering my face then became crusted scabs that were leaking. They had me come in and the technician actually had the audacity to tell me the treatment went great and I needed PATIENCE ?! (what happened to no downtime?) Lynette mustve repeated no "have patience!!" 4-5 times as I sit the there with burn blisters that are leaking. Well...today is May 30th (my treatment was April 19th) and all the burn blisters on my face have turned into dark brown pigmented ice pick scars. I used to never wear too much makeup but in order to face other ppl I need full coverage makeup. I am about to start a VERY VERY expensive and long road to fix the damage that was done. I wish I never ever went to this place

I would give this place ZERO star if there is a Zero, from my experience with them this place does not follow any health safety and they don’t know anything about it , they still want client to come in even if sick or pay $50 ! What kind of protocol are they following ? PLUS their bleaching / whitening laser is a JOKE. Just poor customer service overall.

Love this salon! I wanted to go back to my natural hair color after decades of coloring and being a new mom. I also cut about 8 inches off and Jozie was amazing! She listened to exactly what I wanted and didn't try to change my mind. Such a great environment as well, the shampoo bowl room is a total relaxing vibe.

The headspa portion of the service was fine, the practitioner did a good job, explained everything and appeared knowledgeable. However it was not the same as the service I've seen on multiple YouTube videos depicting the service, that I was excited to get & willing to pay for. I expected a more relaxing experience. The massage was enjoyable, but short, the health of my scalp appeared to improve in the photos somewhat, but it was not in a private setting, there was relaxing music competing with other music in the salon, it was done at a regular wash bowl station, not a massage table or station specifically for this service, no neck/shoulder massage. Overall it was okay and the salon seems to have adapted their existing materials to subparly offer this culturally appropriated service, I will wait for a headspa service to open somewhere else.

The local water is very hard and hard on your hair and scalp. So are the seasonal changes, harsh products and pollution. Arora was attentive and patient with concerns and questions. Scalp and hair feel amazing.

Do not go here! Poor customer service and pay attention to the fake reviews they are posting now because of all their bad recent ratings! Super fast staff turnover, staff seem inexperienced. had a really bad experience with laser hair removal here.

I absolutely love Focal Point Spa!!! I've had my hair styled a few times and was very impressed. I recently had lip filler done with the nurse who was sooo nice, she was very compassionate and kept me up to date as to everything she was doing, afterwords she checked on my constantly to ensure my happiness. I will most certainty be going back for more procedures in the future. This is my favorite place to feel beautiful!! I would recommend them to everyone!!

I always come back to Focal for any service I may need as they are always so friendly and make you feel like you are part of their family. I tried the new Adva light laser as I have alwaysss had trouble with my acne scars. (even without picking etc, I always scar) It worked wonders and made my skin feel super glowy. They were even able to do it under my eyes and help with my dark circles! Will always continue to come here for all of my salon type needs!

I would like to thank the employee's over at Focal Point for outstanding customer care and professionalism! I had gone in for a facial and was taken care of from the time I went into the establishment to the time I left. The front desk employee was amazing. She kept me updated on my progress and was super nice and showed great customer care. The ladies in the back were also amazing! The employee that did my facial was caring and gave me excellent advice on how to take care of my skin and also showed great professionalism. I had a great time and was so relaxing. I would also like to thank Bryan who is one of the owners a big thank you for speaking with me and caring for my care and also making sure everything went smoothly! Yes, tiktok made me do it. I searched for months for a salon in Arizona who offers the Head Spa treatment with microscope imaging and scalp steam facial. I've done the head spa treatment at Focal Point twice now and I'm so happy I decided to try it. My hair and scalp has never been healthier. The entire customized process is explained step by step while still allowing for relaxation. The staff here are always so friendly and upbeat, but most of all they really are pros at what they do.
