Winter is amazing! She helped me get the perfect grey/ash brown blended highlights while making sure my hair stayed healthy. She was super transparent about the whole process, explaining how we could gradually lift my previous color without damage. I really appreciated her patience and expertise— she knows her stuff! The final result turned out even better than I imagined. Highly recommend booking with Winter!

I had this salon recommended to me by a coworker of mine and couldn't be happier with their service. Ashley cut my hair and was highly accommodating and professional. I also got to meet Shaye, the owner of the space briefly. They were very cordial and even gave me a refreshing soda water to enjoy while Ashley cut my hair. 10/10 I will be going back.

Truly the best salon experience I’ve ever had. I cannot remember a time in the past 15 years where I’ve left the salon being 100% satisfied with my haircut but Shaye has changed that. I fly from Denver to Tucson just to get my haircut because Shaye is a miracle worker! 10/10 would recommend

I was long overdue for a haircut and I’m so glad I came to see Shaye at Forage! I was impressed with how thorough she was in assessing my hair and styling habits. Scheduling is made easy through the Vagaro app with a few stylists to choose from. I had the pleasure of having Shaye be my stylist and they were incredible in their ability to flesh out my hair story and what exactly I was looking for. They took their time figuring out what exactly I wanted as well as showing me different styling techniques. I felt safe, heard and left so happy. Before the cut, they asked me how I wanted to feel after my haircut and I replied “refreshed.” I left feeling that and more and I’ll definitely be coming back.

First photo is a couple weeks before this transformation cut by Shaye. First off, Forage Hair Co is a bright and beautiful space that feels comfortable the moment you walk in. I’m sure all of the hair stylists are amazing but Shaye is my absolute go to. She has always understood my hair goals, brought out my natural texture, and made my hair style dreams come true! As a plus, they ask how you style your hair so they can make the process as effortless as possible after. Shaye takes lots of time to be sure she gets a clear idea of what you want for your hair. She has been super patient with my anxiety about going in a new direction with my hair as I grow it out. She knows how to cut curly hair and has been more than generous with her time! It’s a queer friendly place too, which is a major plus, as I don’t feel so comfortable in most upscale salons. Oh, did I mention they offer vegan shampoo options for your wash? Totally rad! Thanks, Shaye for creating such a calm and welcoming experience!!!

Ashley was absolutely fantastic! I came in with a really bad haircut and was ready for a change. She listened to everything I had to say and checked in for feedback every step of the way to make sure I was comfortable. I am always so excited to go back to Forage Salon for a haircut! The space is very inclusive, comfortable, and well curated. There's a positive and mellow vibe here with good music. The most important thing to me over the years, is that Shaye has continuously helped me find confidence in my gender expression, which for me, is tied to having a cool short cut! I feel so relaxed in Shaye’s chair and fully trust them. They gave me my first short haircut, and since then we’ve been playing with variations of soft layered mullets. My favorite is when I can go in for a 2 hour appointment, receive a relaxing scalp treatment, and get into what haircut is going to make me feel my best. I like how I can bring in inspiration photos, or just chat with Shaye about what I want to change within the different areas of my hair. Shaye helps me make decisions and takes the time to pay attention to the details. Shaye is an incredibly talented stylist and treats it like art. I hope to return to get a tattoo too! I think it is so cool that Forage has opened their space to different art forms. I’m so glad I found Shaye and Forage Salon!
