Saw Jordan for my hair color & Ziyu for style & blowout - WOW WOW WOW - what a pair of amazing hair stylists! Highly recommend these 2 and the entire salon! Jordan absolutely nailed my dream color and was super attentive, explained the process, spent the time listening to me.... At no point did I have any doubts my hair will come out looking fabulous! Ziyu also somehow just knew what I secretly wanted in a haircut but could not articulate well. Hair is just the right length, bangs frame my face really nice - just super happy. Very friendly staff, attentive and was easy to work with when making an appointment. Will be back!

Brandon does the best haircut in the city. After going to multiple salons in SoHo and UES I can say the service at Formyhair is the best one yet. Amanda has been doing my color and my hair has never looked more natural and shiny. I love that the entire team always takes into account your natural texture and routine to design a hairstyle that will really work for you.

I went I clearly told him that I didn’t want him to cut back only the front and not much because I’m curls and if it cuts a lot it will be too short, the short bad different levels also short behind I only left 4 long hairs, when I realized he told me that “I didn’t need that hair” obviously if it’s my hair I NEED IT. I was crying!!!

Loved my experience here. It felt like a really collaborative process with Athena and Ryan and that they genuinely cared about the health of my hair and how the hair would hold up in regular days when it’s not styled. They were very considerate of the state my hair was in when I came in and we worked together and talked through a gradual process of what would make the most sense for the change I was looking for. It felt very personalized and was a meaningful experience.

Came from out of town and read a bunch of reviews. LOVED with the scalp treatment! Combination of treatments, scrubbing and rinsing. I did it with the blowout and I’m super happy with the results and my scalp feels so clean and amazing. Thanks Brandon and team!

Highly recommend Jimin for short hair/men’s perm and cut. I’ve previously gotten a perm at 3 different korean salons in Manhattan, all in a similar price range, and my results from Jimin is the best so far. Definitely will be back!

I recently had a haircut with Jimin and could not stop raving about FORMYHAIR to all my friends. Though the haircut was on the pricier side ($150 without tip), it was well worth it! I showed Jimin all of my hair inspo and he immediately knew what to do as well as consulted me on ideas for my hair that would best suit my face shape. Jimin was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and kind. I have never left a haircut feeling as happy I did and will certainly be coming back for all my haircuts.

Brandon absolutely changed my hair. Brought it from a frizzy, concerning mess to lush natural waves. Definitely pricy but the juice is for sure worth the squeeze. My new forever spot.

I am usually not one to write reviews, however Brendon was too good to not follow up on. Typically, I repeat the same hair style over and over, but Brendon from ForMyHair treated my hair with fresh approach and professional suggestions that encouraged me to try something new, and I love it! He was thoughtful and careful. Brendon is a true artist and I highly recommend him and his beautiful salon and super friendly staff!

I went for a scalp clean and a blow dry and it was a great experience. I’ve never felt so looked after in a salon. From a cushion to rest my hands on, to a footrest when washing my hair and a blanket to keep me warm when waiting for the formula to work it’s magic. My scalp feels great!

I found Brandon through social media and my experience was FAB. Last year I had an awful haircut (it was thinned out!) and my hair has not recovered yet. Brandon took the time to listen to my concerns and ask questions, and he proposed a few steps to recover my volume (because of course… It will take time). I love how professional and friendly he is. I recommend him with eyes closed. I will be coming back to get my fabulous hair back!! Girl: book an appointment with him! You’ll thank me later! ;)

I honestly always feel hesitant getting my hair done because I have had some pretty horrible experiences in the past, but let me say Formyhair did not disappoint. I left the salon feeling like a brand new woman. My appointment started off by me showing the hairstylists a picture of the color and cut I wanted and I swear they gave me exactly that. If you are looking to change up your color I beg you ask for Chance (I am sure everyone else is just as amazing but Chance worked some magic). The color was spot on and seriously I have never once gotten so many compliments on the color of my hair then I did after Chance did mine. Following my color change, hair stylist Brandon recommended a conditioning treatment which left my hair feeling so healthy and amazing. Brandon then trimmed my hair giving me such a flattering cut followed by THE BEST blowout I have ever had. I have never left a salon so genuinely happy and confident with my hair. If you are debating about going to Formyhair this is your sign to go!

I’m getting married in 3 weeks, so I did a lot of research before visiting For My Hair salon. I worked with Jimin, and I’m extremely happy with my haircut. He did exactly what I was looking for (long layers, face-framing pieces) and also gave me some good feedback on how to adjust the cut to suit my hair. I will definitely keep working with him in the future. Also the salon is beautiful and clean, and the front of house staff was kind and attentive.

Let me start off by saying that I really loved the end product. I was going for a pretty drastic change and Brandon brought my vision to life. But, the service part of the haircut had a lot to be desired. At this price point($250 + tip), I expected a premium experience. But, during my appointment, Brandon was styling another person’s hair and I had to wait mid haircut for him to finish blow drying another customer’s hair. This seemed unprofessional and impersonal. My time is valuable (and so is his!) and I really didn’t appreciate sitting there and waiting with wet hair for him to finish with another client, especially since I just got a cut.

The whole team is amazing and the best with blowouts, cuts, and balayage. I followed the colorist and stylist here from their last place because of how good they are. The studio is a great vibe as well + easy from the 1 and flatiron generally 10/10

We got the scalp treatment and blowout from Brandon and Matt. They were both amazing and my scalp feels amazing. We came from out of state and it was an amazing experience for us. We will definitely come back again whenever we’re in the city.

I went here for the first time on 1/25/2023. Service was great, receptionist welcomed nicely and took my jacket immediately and offered me a gown. While waiting, beverage of choices was provided. Jimin, my stylist provided me a great hair style with his wonderful skill. He thoroughly looked at my scalp and hair condition and suggested what could be better when using products, type of treatment that would better my scalp condition. While he was doing my hair, he kept the friendly conversation going and learned more of me as his customer/client. Everyone at ForMYHair is kinda and customer-centric. Anyone who gets their hairdo at ForMyHair should expect a great service and amazing outcome on their hair :)
