Danita is great! Recently I came in for a trim on my bob and she took time throughout to ask how I wanted it, especially to shape my face and she shaped my volume. I’ve seen her a few times and she always teaches me about hair care, my scalp, texture and hair type - which is all so helpful! Honestly my hair cut is giving me that boost of confidence it’s meant to - Tx Danita!!!

Danita has been my stylist for a few years and every-time I see her I’m so pleased with my haircut. She takes time to understand what I want and makes great recommendations on style and product. I also appreciate that she never rushes even though I have a lot of hair! I give her my highest recommendation.

Salon was great and so was Danita! She was super knowledgeable and provided recommendations on what would suit me and what products to use to get my hair to look its best all the time. Appreciated that she didn’t push you to buy certain products. Very happy with my overall experience.

I had an appointment with Norah for a major cut and she absolutely killed it. I showed her one or two photos of what I wanted and she executed it beautifully, adding her own touches and asking me how I felt every step of the way. I often feel rushed during hair appointments at Fox & Jane but Norah was very attentive and took her time. She’s also super easy to talk to and overall a gem! I’m looking forward to my next appointment, which I booked immediately after my first cut :)

After a lot of googling and research I decided to book with Norah at Fox & Jane East Village. I could not have made a better choice. I have never felt so listened to at a hair appointment - I am so happy with my hair. I felt like Norah really cared about my hair long term and I came away with tips on how to look after my hair until my next appointment. She was chatty, professional and kind. I have never booked a next appointment on the spot but I did here. I never want my hair done anywhere else again!

I highly recommend Kristin! I have curly hair, which can be difficult to cut and color. Kristin has done an excellent job cutting and highlighting my hair! Kristin listens to your request and explains what she is doing. I am very happy with my hair and will continue to see Kristin.

Would highly recommend! I’ve been going here for a few years and always had a great experience. Gino is awesome - he can create beautiful hair with very vague directions from my end, with haircuts that continue to look great even as your hair grows out. When I’ve gone for coloring (darker and lighter) it’s always looked very natural! I will be going back for as long as I live in the NY area!

Had an amazing experience with Gino for a haircut, partial highlight, and gloss! His consultation was fabulous and very helpful, and he listened to get an understanding of exactly what I was looking for! He recommended a shadow root to make sure my color grows out nicely. Overall I will definitely be back!

I have gone to see Gino at Fox & Jane a couple times now and I am really impressed! For context, I am a natural brunette who highlights about 3-4 times a year to be mostly blonde. I feel like I have pretty particular preferences regarding my color and cut, and Gino is really great about delivering! He makes my hair look better than I even imagined, and I trust his judgement about what would look best on me. Not only is he good at what he does, but he is friendly and fun, and I enjoy my time in the salon!

I moved to NYC 6 months ago and had been going to the same stylist for 30 years until today when I met Gino. He looked at pictures I brought with me and understood when I told him I wanted to see "movement". Highly recommend Gino!

I returned to see Kristin after they gave me a beautiful mullet earlier this year. This time, I wanted to cut out the bulk of the hair I'd had colored elsewhere while maintaining the volume I had from the razor-cut mullet. I walked out with the exact texture and volume I hoped for and able to embrace and appreciate my natural hair color. Kristin is a great listener and really seems to understand what their clients want.

Absolutely love Fox and Jane! I have been looking for a curly haircut specialist for years and Kristin does a fantastic job. Kristin is super attentive to detail, makes sure you feel comfortable, provides expert advice and executes exactly what I’m looking for. Everyone on the Fox and Jane team are friendly, welcoming and encouraging of each other. You can truly feel the community they have built together and I love coming in to see them. I got my roots done with Norah and I’m super happy with the results! She was very clear about what she wanted to do with my hair, and she was very understanding of what I needed. She was especially considerate when blending out the existing color that I had with the new color.

If I was rich enough to travel from Canada to New York every month, I would. Kristin is an amazing hair stylist and New York really lucked out when they moved there. Norah was awesome! I went in for a haircut, showed her a reference pic & she knew exactly what I was going for. My hair is super thick and short so I was worried about it being pouffy. She was able to cut & style it in a way that actually feels easier to manage. I love how my cut came out. I already have another appointment booked in December with her

Tess has been my stylist for over a decade!! When you find a stylist that you vibe with, you go wherever they go. Tess knows exactly what I want done and gets it right every time. I don't color my hair anymore (personal choice) but she's also an amazing colorist. She just started at the East Village location so book her right away!
