Got a wonderful haircut from James! I came in with a picture and general set of goals (more volume, lots of texture, face-framing) and he knew exactly what to do. I’m so happy with it! The cut really enhances my curls and gives me so much more shape. I’m always super nervous to go to a new stylist but I trusted the other reviews and they did not disappoint. Overall, a delightful experience that I would highly recommend.

I had a fabulous haircut and blow-dry with James. He cut my hair dry (it’s curly) and did a wonderful job removing the dead ends. The hair wash was relaxing and lovely. The blow dry was perfect and my hair was styled just as I asked. It even looked great the next day for my headshots at work! Thanks James!!

My appt was great! It’s the first time having Lucii as my hairstylist and she was wonderful! She took the time to listen to my hair goals and helped me figure out which products to use, explained how/what order to use them and how often to get my hair cut to achieve it. She brought moisture and volume back to my hair and cut my bangs perfectly 🤌 Looking forward to my next appt with her!

Ash has been cutting my hair beautifully for two years, and yesterday’s haircut was the best yet. I have very fine curly hair, and there is just something about how Ash cuts it that makes it look really full and curly, and quite chic. I get so many complements!

I had a fabulous easy experience with James at Fox & Jane. This was my first haircut in NYC after living here for three years. It was fun getting the exact style I wanted while chatting with James. I got a cute haircut just above my shoulders and he styled it for me to enjoy. The shop was sweet and clean & in a great area on Atlantic. The price was super fair. I’ll be coming back 🦊

I’ve loved my experiences at the lower east side location! All the staff are super nice and Taylor (yes we have the same name) is incredible and very fun to be around. I’ve gotten cut/color from her on two separate occasions and she’s very thorough, attentive, and makes me feel comfortable. The kind of stylist I want to keep going back to!

James gave me a beautiful haircut, which I desperately needed after months of neglect. I have almost shoulder length hair that's pretty fine and just needed a cut that was low maintenance and didn't require a lot of upkeep. James knew immediately exactly what I needed and in less than an hour, during which we chatted and joked around, he produced a cut that has continued making me happy day after day!

After reading multiple reviews mentioning what great experiences people had with James, I scheduled an appointment with him last week. He did not disappoint! I told him I wanted long layers, and he was great about discussing options on how long to go and if I wanted, we could go shorter later. I appreciated that he wasn't just going to chop first, ask later. He also checked in to follow up and see how I was liking the cut. I'll definitely be going back@

Saw Lucii today for a full highlight and am so thrilled with the results. I had layers of red and dark brown box dye in my hair to remove and lighten and the color turned out beautifully. Topped off with a bouncy blowout, my hair has never looked better!

I had my first appointment with James at Fox and Jane Salon, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience! I came in with naturally dark, dark brown hair and light brown highlights that had grown out since I’d had them done four months ago. My roots were showing, and the color was no longer blending well, plus my ends were looking dry and brittle. James worked his magic, skillfully retouching my layers to give my hair a lighter, bouncier feel that frames my face beautifully. He also applied toner, blending my highlights seamlessly into my roots, creating a warm, cohesive color that I absolutely love. James is truly a gem, and his expertise and attention to detail have me confident that he's my go-to stylist in Brooklyn from now on!
