I don’t know how to summarize what an amazing stylist Andrea is! She not only gave me a much needed and overdue transformation with cut and color, but also a renewed sense of confidence and general care of myself. I had all but given up on ever loving my hair again before I came to her and after spending an IMMENSE amount of time listening to my concerns, dislikes, previous experience, etc. The outcome was even better than I expected! I don’t have an easy hair type to deal with. She has such vast knowledge of not only dealing with the type of hair you have, but age related changes along with, most importantly, how certain health issues can affect your hair type and what may work best for you. This lady KNOWS HER STUFF!! I really wasn’t sure what I needed but her vision and recommendation of color for my hair exceeded my expectations! Some of my friends, people at my CrossFit gym and coworkers didn’t recognize me at first! Most important is that my husband loved it and loves how much happier I am. If you are stuck or unhappy where you are currently at, you need to go see her. The way she welcomes you and works with you can’t be overstated, all combined with how beautiful she is inside and out! I've seen Samantha a few times and always leave happy. She's great at asking questions to make sure she really understands what I want and then making exactly that happen with my hair. I also appreciate that she gives honest opinions when I'm stuck between choices. Bonus points for also being a cool person to talk to. Need a haircut? Go see Samantha.

Andrea came recommended from a friend and rebooted my cut and color. She listened to what I wanted and suggested an approach that met the need I couldn’t articulate. She really went above and beyond and I’m so happy with the result. This salon has been there for some time, and when my friend recommended it I was initially kind of surprised! But under Andrea’s recent leadership the approach and the color product line are fresh and new. Another client got some vibrant rainbow color while I was there and it looked fantastic. Super happy and will be back!

Andrea was such a blessing they made my hair look better than I could ever imagine taught me tips to style it and also provided a list of all the products needed to make my hair stay and look as healthy as she made it . This is now my permanent hair dresser what an amazing woman and artist thank you so much for all your hard work you are amazing person can’t wait to see you again in March

UPDATE: Took my 6 yr old daughter to Fox Chapel Hair Salon this week. (11/9/23) I had Samantha cut her hair. First off, all the stylists treated my little girl so special! Fawning over her hair. Samantha took special care to get her bangs just right! I appreciate that because most times, the bangs end up crooked. Samantha made sure that the bangs were cut right taking care to consider head shape and hair distribution and even did a standing check to make sure all her hair was symmetrical. Highly recommend! After 2 years, I've finally found our hair salon! There's something to be said for a stylist that will tell you the truth even if you may not take it well! Love the cut! Will definitely go back to Samantha! She was honest about the style I wanted and made great suggestions to get the style that I wanted but fit my face shape best! Thank you Samantha!

I went to Andrea with no idea what I needed- I was feeling drab and frustrated and sad, missing my former stylist. She talked to me for a long time- about my hair, yes-but also about my lifestyle, goals and likes/dislikes. She asked lots of questions to get an idea of who I am and what would work best for me before suggesting a plan. She gave me her full attention before, during and after my transformation. I left feeling and looking like a movie star- and like I've known Andrea my whole life : ) I can't possibly say enough good things about my experience at Fox Chapel Hair Design. Andrea's creativity, talent and kindness are rare and she is a true master at her craft. Call her-you will be glad you did!

Andrea was 100% the best hair stylist I’ve ever been to. I have tried so many other stylists before and never was satisfied but she did such a perfect job, she brought me back to my perfect baby blonde :) I’m definitely never cheating on her!

Popped in for a cut and got the whole experience!!!!. Jan carefully washed my hair, gave a fabulous scalp massage, and cut/styled my hair perfectly. I gave her minimal instructions and no photo for reference, simply said “I want my ear cut out to showcase my earrings and angled on the other side, keeping the length.” I got EXACTLY what I wanted. Jan was a pleasure to work with and has such an eye for detail, meticulously brushed and cutting my hair to ensure it lays just right. *****Only “downside” was they don’t accept tips on cards SO BRING CASH for tips!!! I even checked the website before coming and must have missed that detail. There wasn’t an atm nearby and although I was embarrassed, she was SO kind about it. Looking forward to my next cut and will be prepared next time.

I have been with Andrea for about 15 years. I always get compliments on my color. She has great ideas to work with my hair as it has grayed. Always patient, meticulous attention to detail. Great complimentary coffee and snack bar during non-pandemic times, too!

Keli has been cutting and coloring my hair for a while now. She also does my daughter's hair. She is amazing both in color and cut. It is very hard to find a stylist that can also cut short hair. I am very picky with my hair and highly recommend Keli.

For a long time, I have not been happy with my hair until I came to this salon. Keli absolutely killed it with my hair and it was such an amazing experience!! Keli does such an amazing job and she truly cares about her customers, she goes above and beyond to give you the best results. I feel like myself again thanks to her. I am still really sad about my experience there. I asked at least 8 to 10 times that I did not want any hair cut above an inch from the bottom. They knew I asked this. They kept saying that it will continue to break if they don't cut it. I said please do not touch anything in the front as most important. I kept saying no that is ok... and at the very end, they purposely cut the breakage and added long hairs to the cut... i was growing jt out for two years, and she did that.. the owner said it was uncalled for for me to get so upset over something so minute.... it is minute to her because they do not care about what is important to you and your hair.... she also said even if you cut 6 inches in or 1/2, it doesn't make that big of a difference.. . It does to me because my hair needs to be long go weigh it down... it took me two years to grow out and they knew how much that it meant to me to not cut anything off, except at very bottom... before and after pictures show exactly what i did not want done :'( it takes years to grow out, and for them to do something i specifically asked them nicely not to is so awful

I had an amazing experience here. Everyone was very polite & caring. Keli did my hair & it turned out stunning. She took my hair from a mess to blessed!! Im in shock with how she transformed it. I am in loveeee!!! I would 100% recommend this salon to anyone. Keli is an outstanding stylist & puts her heart & soul into her work, it shows.

I have never been so happy with my hair. I am a high maintenance customer and like to change my hair a lot. Kelli has never complained or said no. She is so truly talented. The salon is so much fun and not stuffy and uncomfortable at all. Andrea the owner is so sweet and nice as well. I love going to Fox Chapel hair design. Kelli is not afraid to try something new and is always willing to accept a challenge. More people need to be like her. I highly recommend Kelli and this salon. I have never Once been unhappy and I come every three weeks. Kelli also does beautiful makeup. She did my makeup for my NPC body building competition. Please see photos ....Thank you !!!

I went to Keli to correct my hair color, I thought I wouldn't be able to fix it...but Keli worked her magic and my hair turned out even better than I had ever anticipated!!! I get so many compliments and people asking me who did my hair!!! I will never go anywhere else but Fox Chapel Hair Design!! Not only was keli professional, she was kind and friendly, she also suggested options that would compliment my skin tone! She really made it a great experience and is worth every penny!! So love my stylist Andrea absolute the best! We now have a color bible of all the fantastic things we’ve tried. Just saw a one star review from a client. I have to put it out there that it is a bit off from what I personally witnessed. sorry she was unhappy but it was not due to the service she received! The staff was very much aware of her requests and did not cut much hair at all, I know because I was sitting watching while my color processed. She also was in a rush to leave and could not say enough nice things while running out the door. Unfortunately that changed an hour later when she returned. I got to experience an adult Temper tantrum, I was embarrassed for her and if I would have thought quick enough I would have dialed 911 when she began banging on one of the stations! This place is incredible! they stayed calm.cool, and collect so professional... I can’t say I would have been the same.

I am absolutely blown away by how amazing Andrea is! This was my first time at this salon, I found them by googling "Fox Chapel hair salon" and I am SO happy I found them. My hair cut and color look amazing and Andrea took her time to do the whole process right, and it was a long process! She didn't rush at all and my hair came out better than I wanted, she is a true artist and is so passionate about what she does. I will continue to come back to her and would recommend her to anyone looking to transform their hair, she is a miracle worker!
